I know Jax was a bad person. But I'd be lying if I didn't relate to her. I refused to accept that I was queer and tried to pray the gay away, become a born again Christian, looking for conversion therapy and all of it just made me hate myself and the people around me. And that's on top of the "also having a shit ass dad".
I still struggle to accept myself being a lesbian and non-binary in a hetero normative world cause it's easier for everyone else for you to fit in a box while you are slowly killing yourself.
It's not to excuse her abusive behavior towards everyone (abuse breeds abuse).
I wish every queer person felt and was safe enough to be themselves.
