For some reason I just really like when Garnet and Pearl touch each other. Their relationship is so special, knowing they’ve known each other throughout all these battles, seen their friends lost, lived through the death of their leader, had each other’s backs and now they’re family.

Pearl touches Garnet for comfort, for protection, for stability, for warmth. Garnet touches Pearl for reassurance, for support, for a moment of strength or sweetness–or even to celebrate something special. I love what they are together and I’m glad they still have each other.

I burritoed an arctic fox today. Last week it was a cormorant. Before that it was a blue heron. When in doubt, burrito it.
