I suppose I should introduce myself.

Hi! I’m Raine! I use She/Her Pronouns and I like making art! I’m fairly new to Tumblr (at the time of writing this) so i haven’t quite figured out how everything works yet, but i’ll get there eventually! I’m all over with mediums, so don’t expect too much consistency, but I’ll be posting my art here soon!

Since the Gameoverse pilot just dropped, I wanted to screenshot all the outfits Kit wears throughout it, since i ADORE them and kit's character design. Figured I'd share them for any fanartists who don't wanna scrub through the whole pilot!

every time i’ve gotten an ad recently, i’ve looked at the time left and counted down in my head while i look out the window or something. truly heavenly and i’d recommend it!

My final for my architecture class I took in Copenhagen!! This was a site that we visited on a lake that had many issues, and our assignment was to create a cafe that addressed and solved these issues! It was a ton of work, but was ultimately really fun to do! I spent months cutting and gluing those wooden sticks, and it turned out very well!! The presentation was interesting because the judges were being really harsh, especially since this was most people’s first architecture studio, myself included. But when it finally came around for my turn to present, they didn’t have a bad word to say about it! To me, this shows that my hard work (and countless late nights in the studio) paid off. They told me that they could see the time, effort, and thought I put into the project, which I was very glad of! overall a very fun project!!

I’m posting this one separately because this is definitely my favorite sketch I did. my beloved 6.5 year old headphones that I have used the life out of. They are Sony WH-1000XM3 for anyone wondering!

Rather than spamming with a million posts, here’s a bunch of them at once!

The 1st one is a brick arch in the Copenhagen Town Hall that took a couple attempts to make the shape right (and a lot of slight details like rounding the corners of the bricks)

The 2nd one is a food cart that would occasionally show up in the town hall square that 8 saw and just had to draw. also my first sketch where i began to shade

The 3rd one is another house from Nyhavn

The 4th one is a cafe on the coast that i’m quite proud of! i think I was beginning to get the hang of shading a bit more

The 5th one is a building in Aalborg if i’m remembering correctly? I was waiting for people to arrive for dinner and started sketching it. That one was tough because there were a bunch of poles in front of it that I had to edit out

The 6th one is a radio I think? it was in the national museum in copenhagen but i honestly don’t know what it is cause it also had a screen. idk

The 7th and 8th ones were both from a 1000 year old cathedral, (probably the oldest building I’ve ever been in) the first of which was a glass window with a few unintentionally different shades of glass, and the second was a very modern fire extinguisher, which I though was funny to have in such an old setting

And lastly, the 9th one was drawn while waiting for a train; it was one of the beams that supported the station. I didn’t quite get to finish, hence the “train is here” written next to it

thus begins the era where I was doing a lot of pen sketching! this was a bench in the Copenhagen town hall square (Rådhuspladsen), and one of the first things I sketched and was really proud of! I also didn’t once pick up my pen during this drawing!

Bubbleine pixel art I made a bit ago!

I had to make this one twice since I had put tape under the first one and forgotten about it, so it got all warped. Still pretty happy with it!

the warped one ended up growing on me so I sold the good one at a fair! (thank you to that person for buying things and commissioning me)

Catra pixel art!! A 4x4 of 27x27 pegboards, totaling over 11600 beads!

my first pixel art in maybe 6-8 years, and my first time using both small beads and artkal! in typical raine fashion, i jumped straight to the complicated (large) piece in the medium and therefore underwent a lot of the learning curve (and the many *many* mistakes that came with it) quite quickly over the course of this project. It took 32 hours total, 14 of which were correcting various mistakes i had made. oh well! it got made, im happy with it, and i learned a lot!

a catra mask i designed from scratch for my halloween costume a while ago!

getting the shape was pretty tough, as i was using a very basic modeling program, and couldn’t really stretch or bend it the way i wanted to, but couldn’t only add or subtract shapes to or from it. after i 3d printed it, i sanded it, painted it, and put foam on the front so it wasn’t uncomfortable.

turned out pretty well! except a lot of people thought i was scarlet witch lol.
