Gender is like a playground game where the schoolyard bullies are in charge of constantly changing rules and if you don't follow their rules exactly at all times they're gonna kick the shit out of you.

It doesn't matter if you're a gnc masculine cis woman or a gnc feminine cis man — you're not playing the gender game right. It doesn't matter if you're a binary, gender conforming trans man or trans woman — you're still not playing the gender game right. It doesn't matter if you're a feminine, gnc binary trans man or a masculine, gnc binary trans woman — you're really not playing the gender game right. It especially doesn't matter if you're nonbinary or intersex — you somehow "decided" to play a completely different game and wow do the playground bullies hate that.

The only way to survive the gender game is to be a binary, cisgender, perisex, gender conforming, typically white person and EVEN THEN!!! You are under constant scrutiny by Da Rules of the gender game. The way leftist men will joke about right wing men being "low T" is someone getting shit kicked in the gender game. The way cis women will scrutinize each other wrt just exactly how much femininity and sexuality or lack of femininity and sexuality is acceptable is someone getting shit kicked in the gender game. The way people of color experience completely different modes of gender policing that an uncomfortable number of white people can't even conceptualize is someone getting shit kicked in the gender game.
