Do You Know My Favorite Color? A love note to everyone wishing for nontraditional colored computer accessories

Do you know my favorite color? As a girl, companies think it’s pink or white.

Do you know my favorite color? As a gamer, companies think it’s black with RGB lighting.

Do you know my favorite color? The answer is, it’s orange.

I want to build a set up, a machine that reflects who I am, but I’m not reflected in the statistics for high end products and I know a lot of you aren’t either. I’m not reflected so I broke down and decided to paint white accessories and a white tower. Acrylic and enamel coating is how I have to see myself reflected in my build.

Extra time and money just to be happy with my set-up.

This isn’t a traditional post for this blog, and at the same time, it’s on point with why I started this with my friend. I haven’t posted in a very long time due to life and school, but at the end of the day, I’m displeased with how difficult it is to find things that aren’t in those three statistically safe shades of black white and pink.

I see the most amazing builds and set-ups made by incredibly creative people, and I’m jealous that so many of their parts are ready out of the box. I can’t use my Razer Kraken because it’s drying. 2 coats of paint, 1 coat of enamel, 2 coats of paint, 1 coat of enamel, remove tape, touch up paint, 2 coats of enamel. Done ⅓ at a time, headband and 2 ear cups.

It’s time consuming. It’s tedious. It’s an extra cost that probably voids my warranty just to try to grasp some aesthetic happiness.

“Just buy one of those cat ear headsets and shut up”

No. I want the headset I bought because of how it fits, the sound quality, and how it accommodates my earrings and glasses. Why should I have to get something cheap just to meet my aesthetic needs?

Is this news? No. Is it a review? No.

This is just a love note to everyone like me struggling to be seen and to see their favorite color reflected in the products they love.

Mass Effect 4D Experience

Good morning!

Many of you know that Great America Just opened a new ride based on the Mass Effect game series. For anyone who has never been on a 4D ride, this means the seats move, you get sprayed with water, and every so often you can be assaulted with smells. Now, I say every so often because very few 4D rides will include smells, let alone any smell that could be considered offensive. The Mass Effect experience…well, if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to smell bug venom…this answers that question. While that smell was off putting, the musty ground smells were amazingly vivid, but didn’t linger which is impressive. The overall style of this ride is like Star Tours, a tourist trip gone wrong. The actor that they had performing for this ride was involved and played his part well. It’s hard to go into it without ruining the entire ride, because it wasn’t very long. Although for ride length, it’s probably for the best that it wasn’t crazy long for those of us that get a little motion sick. Was it fun? Yes. Would I ride it again? Probably not for a while. Would I recommend riding it? Absolutely do it at least once. No cameras were allowed once inside the ride, but I did get some pictures of the outside.

None of us were quite sure what was going on with Fem Shep’s armor.

Launch Highlight- Atelier Sophie

Good morning!

This Tuesday marks the release of the next title in one of my favorite series, the Atelier series. This one is titled Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book and it will be the 17th main game in the series.

This installation follows Sophie as she runs an atelier studio on the outskirts of Kirchen Bell in a time before alchemy is a widespread art. She has no reference or guide, until she finds a book that moves and talks on its own. The book is really a girl name Plachta, who teaches Sophie new alchemy recipes as she slowly regains her memories. Her appearance can be customized with the new Dollmake feature, which uses crafted items to add new appearance options. Sophie’s ultimate goal for the game is to restore all of Plachta’s memories.

New features in this game other than the Dollmake, include a weather system and a new step in synthesizing items. The weather system allows for changes that will trigger shop discounts and monster encounters depending on what the weather in that area is like. I think this is a great addition as it adds variety to the environments. The new alchemy step is to arrange shapes which will affect bonuses and success. I won’t know how I feel about this until I try it to be honest, although it sounds interesting. Speaking of alchemy, recipes are now gained through normal tasks like gathering, fighting monsters, exploring, or from participating in events.

This game is coming out for both the PS4 and Vita, making this the series’ first appearance on Sony’s new console. I’ll be picking up this game when it comes out, and I’m excited for the unique characters and engaging story that the series provides.

General News June 4th

Good morning!

E3 is coming up fast, and as it gets closer more games have been confirmed to make appearances and certain games are starting to be identified as having a playable demo. Games added to the confirmed list are Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor: Martyr an Action RPG where you play as an Inquisitor and fight against the heretics and chaos daemons coming out for PS4/Xbox One/PC, Monster Hunter Generations there’s not much to say other than it’s a new Monster Hunter for the 3DS, and Mass Effect Andromeda the much awaited new Mass Effect game coming out for the PS4/Xbox One/PC. I also said some games have confirmed playable demos and something many people have waited for will be one of those games. Square is bringing a playable demo of Final Fantasy XV with them, and while there was a demo that came with the remastered version of Final Fantasy Type-0 I would expect to see an improved if not expanded demo at E3.

In other news that may be less exciting to some, but it WAY exciting to me, Neverwinter Nights Online is finally coming to Playstation 4. It’s listed as coming this summer, so we’ll see it sometime within the next 2 months. I played so much Neverwinter Nights growing up, and I’ve actually been playing it more recently just for fun, although some of the textures and colors disagree with newer operating systems (I’m a silver, dwarf-shaped blob). I was actually disappointed when the game originally came out because I had just moved and my laptop can’t support the game, and I can’t just drop the money to buy an XBone (I’d rather deal with the anxiety of moving my tower). Needless to say, I can’t wait.

Lastly, but not least (just farther out than everything else), there’s a World of Warcraft cookbook coming out. It will have game recipes translated into real world cooking recipes. Now, I’ve played a lot of WoW starting from when it first came out. In fact, I’d still be playing a lot of WoW if I had my desktop where I lived. So naturally, I’ve done a lot of cooking and I know a lot of recipes including ones that may not be available anymore because of when they were offered. The reasons listed above are why this cookbook excites me (I also really just like cookbooks). The one thing I’m hoping to see is a recipe for thistle tea, a class specific recipe only available to rogues. If you want this book, you could preorder it from the site for $35…or you could preorder it from Amazon for $23…it doesn’t come out until October so you have plenty of time.

Rhythm Highlight- Persona 4 Dancing All Night

Good Morning!

Today we’re going to talk about the reason I bought a Vita, Persona 4: Dancing All Night!

Persona 4 Dancing All Night sees the return of the Persona 4 cast shortly after the end of Persona 4. The story sees the group supporting Rise in her comeback performance as Risette! Risette is headlining the Love Meets Bonds concert with the upcoming group Kanamin Kitchen. Unfortunately as the concert approaches, the members of Kanamin Kitchen start to go missing. The group soon get’s pulled into a new area known as the midnight stage where the house rule is no violence. With this rule in effect the team has to defeat the shadows by dancing to get across their feelings. With the investigation team going through the midnight stage, and Kanamin and Dojima investigating things on the outside, will they discover the force behind the midnight stage, and the controversy behind Kanamin’s new song Calystegia? (Spoiler: the answer is yes.)

I love rhythm games, and I love Persona 4. This game has all the personality of Persona 4, and some great remixes of the soundtrack. Every track is actually pulled from Persona 4, with one exception. I believe Calystegia was written for Dancing All Night. Calystegia is also one of the only Japanese tracks in the game. You can find the English translation of the song on the wiki here > http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Calystegia. If you really get tired of the Persona soundtrack, one of the DLC songs is Heaven with Hatsune Miku as the dancer. There’s also numerous costume packs available for DLC, if you find the library of extra costumes already available doesn’t have what you want.

Game play-wise, the controls are responsive and balanced using the buttons, d-pad, and the occasional stick in order to hit the notes. The fever rings are optional, and don’t count against you if you miss them however if you do hit three of them and your audience is hyped up enough, you’ll have a back up dancer jump in to spice up your performance. Now, this game is compatible with the Playstation TV…but unfortunately depending on the size of your TV, you might have some problems with tracking the notes. I would recommend playing this on the Vita over playing it on the PS TV, like I said this is the reason I bought my Vita.

I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Persona. I know critics have said that the story was lacking, but I personally enjoyed it immensely. I thought it was well developed for a spin off game, that didn’t really have to have a coherent story at all. If you’re a fan of the series and you haven’t played this yet, it would be something fun to tie you over until Persona 5 comes out hopefully in September. Speaking of Persona 5’s release though, it has been said that the release date will be confirmed at E3 in a few weeks.

Throwback Highlight- King of Monsters 2

Good morning!

Today we’re going to throwback to something that I played a lot as a little kid with my cousin, King of Monsters 2 for the Super Nintendo. Not only is it something I had a lot of fun playing, but it also had a part in helping me think of a name for this blog.

King of Monsters 2 was a side scrolling beat ‘em up game where you chose one of three monsters (Geon, Astro Guy, and Woo) to work to defend Earth against an alien threat. Of course I spent most of my time playing the two player competition mode. It was released for the Super Nintendo in 1993, so this game is as old as I am, and sometimes that’s unsettling to think about.

There’s not a lot to say about this game. It wasn’t very long, and it didn’t have anything that made it stand out from other games of its kind. The biggest thing for me is that I spent so much time playing this with my cousin that it really holds a special place in my heart. I always loved running around and smashing the game environment as a giant lizard monster. (Geon)

I mean, you can’t look at that image and say that this doesn’t look like fun.

Maybe some day I’ll find a good emulator for this game.

First of the Month Post- June

Good morning!

It’s a new month! Normally the first of a new month means a post focusing on everything new related to consoles however with E3 coming up this month, there won’t be much to say until then.

So instead, I have a short product review for the Razer Nabu X!

The Razer Nabu X is Razer’s answer to the rise in smart bands used for fitness tracking. The website lists it as tracking calories, steps, time spent active, distance walked, and sleep, with 3 customizable LED lights for alerts of texts and other compatible social media apps. The Nabu X is also listed with an estimated 7 days of battery life. The band itself comes in white, black, and Razer’s signature neon green.

Now, I’ve had my Nabu X for a couple weeks now, and I can say that it’s been everything I’ve hoped. The minutes active isn’t always accurate, but that’s my only complaint. The sleep tracking is fairly accurate, with 8 minutes of inactivity signaling rest, and 5 minutes of activity signaling waking up. The sleep tracker counts how many times you were restless and if you were awake at any point in the middle of your sleep cycle. The other big thing for me is battery life, and while listed at lasting for about 7 days I’ve gotten about 10 days out of mine before needing to charge it. The other nice thing is when it does need to charge, it only takes 2 hours for a full charge. The customizable LEDs and vibration allow you to know what kind of alert it is even though it doesn’t have a screen. As for the step tracking, the first day I was a bit concerned that it was picking up some of my typing as steps, but if it’s been doing that, I haven’t noticed.

Razer lists the Nabu X at $50, but Amazon is selling it for $40. I feel like it’s a better value than the fitbit of similar price and the fitbit that comes closest to matching in features is the $100 fitit flex, and even then it doesn’t have some of the features that the Nabu X comes with like text alerts.

I’m happy with mine, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fitness band for a good price while still offering all of the function.

End of Month- May Overview

Here we are boys and girls the end of the month, it’s been a great first month here at Rampaging Kaiju, I would like to thank everyone for their support, and hope you all have enjoyed it as much as we have.

Well let’s just jump right in, I want to talk about a couple of bigger games that came out this month, first being Uncharted 4 which I have been waiting to play since last year when they first announced they would be releasing it, I must say it has been a great game so far, it still has the great story of the rest of the Uncharted games, I want to explore all of what this game has to offer, the flash backs that tell more about his childhood and is brother, I don’t want to talk about too much about the game, because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.

Another game that just came out is Doom I’ve heard some complaints about the game, but I personally like it, I get a sense of nostalgia from playing Doom. Doom was one of the first games I reallygo in to, and the style of the game is nice it makes you jump right in, and go fight some monsters from hell. Also in case you missed the announcement Mirrors edge was pushed back until next month, it looks to be a fun fast paced game, I’m hold off any real opinion on the game until after I play it, I will probably do a review on it next month, as of now the new release date is 7/6.

There is a few new games coming to steam that I would like to talk about one of them is The NADI Project “The NADI Project it is a first person graphic adventure, in which you will face various obstacles to escape from your destiny.” This game comes out today 6/1, it’s free to play and seems like it will be a fun adventure, I’ll have more on this game once I start playing it.

Riders of Icarus happens to be another game I have my eye on. “Take the battle to the sky with fantastical flying mount combat unlike anything you’ve seen before in Riders of Icarus, the new unprecedented action-adventure MMORPG experience that lets you ride and fight on the back of the realm’s most dangerous winged beasts… dragons.” My first thought after seeing this was it feels like adult version of How to train your dragon, it comes about at the end of June. The last game I’d like to talk about is not coming out until July, but I’m dying to play game is called Red Haze, and you play as a drug addicted named Rockette, who has to go locate her dealer, but strange things start to happen along the way. “You know, my dear, it isn't safe... To wander and creep while oh so weak. In the abandoned, the rotten, the decayed. Society has forgotten you; it won't lift a finger for that which it tossed away. You're just prey that the true prowlers who lay in shadows await to feast upon.” I do warn you this game is most definitely not for children.

Puzzle Highlight- Catherine

Life is like a puzzle without a solution. –Thomas Mutton

Today, we’re going talk about my favorite puzzle game, Catherine! (Yes, I know how awesome Portal is and I do enjoy it, I still just like Catherine better.)

Catherine is a puzzle platformer game where you play as Vincent, a man caught between two women and his desire to just follow his dreams. Each day, Vincent interacts with Katherine, his girlfriend of 5 years, Catherine, a mysterious girl he met at the bar (but no one seems to remember), and his friends. Each night however, Vincent struggles with nightmares where you climb boxes (in your underwear) until you reach the top of the tower. At the top of each tower, there is a platform where you can interact with sheep. Once you go to leave the tower, you are asked a question in a confessional, these questions and how you answer them effect the outcome of the game. Other things that affect the game’s outcome are your interactions with your friends and other bar patrons, how you interact with both Catherine and Katherine, and how you interact with the sheep. If you ignore the patrons and the sheep, you may realize that some of them have…stopped showing up.

The bar you spend time in has other purposes than just talking to patrons and your friends. The more you drink, the faster you’ll move in your nightmare later. There is also a minigame styled after how the game itself works called Rapunzel. If you’re having trouble getting past a stage, taking some time to play Rapunzel might help you out. While at the bar you can change the ambient music using the jukebox (there’s a selection of music from Persona that’s quite nice), and you can answer texts that you may receive from the girls (you can slip off into the bathroom to check any pictures Catherine sends you).

The game has 8 endings. Both girls have a good, a bad, and a true ending, and then there is a good and true ending for freedom. Freedom is where Vincent chooses to stay with neither girl and instead pursues his own dreams. The game also has a secret ending for beating the ‘Axis Mundi Babel’ challenges.

If you feel any similarities to Persona in the art or the way the story is presented, that’s because not only is this game made by Atlus, but it was produced by Persona director Katsura Hasino, and the characters were created by Shigenori Soejima who also worked on Persona. This game also boasts 4 different covers, 2 for the PS3 and 2 for the 360, 1 censored and one original per system. The uncensored ones don’t actually show that much; I’ve certainly seen worse covers on Senran Kagura and Dead or Alive.

This game is can definitely be a little…well on the adult only side of the mature rating (I’ve seen those pictures Catherine sends), but the way the story handles the different aspects of relationships is the kind of thing I expect from Atlus. No matter what path you go down the game illustrates struggles and consequences in a very real way. I fully believe that the story benefits from all of the sexual themes because that can be a very big part of life for some people. This game also addresses some pretty intense topics that people tend to scoff at.

Now stop what you’re doing, grab a pillow, and go play Catherine. Just trust me on this.

General News May 28th

Good morning!

It’s charity season! Granted, any time of year can be charity season if you want to make it charity season. However, there’s been an increase in charity live streams this month. Today specifically, Lordminion777 has a charity livestream going from 3pm EST to 3am EST (for those of us on the west coast that’s noon to midnight). He actually met his previous goal of 16k (actually he exceeded it. He’s sitting on almost 17k), so he raised it and his new goal is 20k. Everything is going to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, so go help him out!

While we’re talking about Youtubers, one of our favorite youtubers, Markiplier, just hit 13 million subscribers! He recorded a video of him eating 13 habaneros while sitting in an ice bath for the occasion. He swears he isn’t a masochist but he also does things like this, so mixed signals there. My favorite video of his is the 4th wall. Not because the game is spectacular, but the ending is just really funny to me. I would highly recommend watching it if you haven’t seen that one yet.

E3 is fast approaching, and with it closing in schedules are starting to finalize. EA, Bethesda, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo have announced their press conference times. There have also been more games have been added to the list of appearences, including Yooka-laylee and a new Star Ocean.

For anyone tracking down the Pokemon giveaways, June first brings Manaphy with tail glow, bubble, and water sport and the hydration ability.

30 Years of Dragon Quest

Good morning!

So, by sheer dumb luck I realized that today is the 30th anniversary of the very first release of Dragon Quest! It was exactly this day in 1986 that Dragon Quest was released in Japan for the Famicom. The first game was later released in the US in 1989 for the NES under the name Dragon Warrior with minor differences. The biggest being that the NES version could support cartridge saves instead of the password based continue system that was present in the Japanese Famicom release. Another change was that when the scrip was adopted into English, they used a pseudo-Elizabethan English slang that was highly praised by critics. This game was created by Yuji Horii and all the art was done by someone many of us are familiar with, Akira Toriyama, the artist behind the Dragon Ball series.

The basic plot of this game revolves around you being a hero tasked with saving the kingdom and the princess from the Evil Dragonlord. The game itself has no real restrictions on where you can go, the only guiding force is that you can’t enter the final castle until you collect all the required objects and that the monster levels vary depending on the area that you’re in. The combat itself is very simple; however this game became the template for almost every following J-RPG to come. It’s hard to think of something being so influential, but it’s definitely something that many of us are grateful for. When making this game, Horii wanted the game to focus on creating a greater emphasis on storytelling and emotional involvement in order to appeal to a wider audience including people who were unfamiliar with video games.

So, strange question, but have you ever played a game where the name of your character or a series of questions answered at the start of the game affected your starting stats or stat progression? Dragon Quest was one of the first games to do that. The name you entered affected your initial ability and stat growth through-out the rest of the game.

If you wanted to pick up a classic Dragon Quest, Square Enix remastered some of the original games for mobile release. The first game specifically costs about $3. If you’d like to try out the most recent game, last year saw the release of a new Dragon Quest spin off game, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and The Blight Below or hold out for Dragon Quest XI which is set to release this year as the next core game.

Co-Op Highlight- Rayman Legends

Good morning!

More games these days focus on online multiplayer leaving the rest of us who want a night in with friends with less and less options. Today’s game, is probably a game I’ve always been way too excited about, Rayman Legends. Rayman Legends is a platformer rated E 10+ (or Pegi 7) making it not only a couch co-op game, but a family couch co-op game. It was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and is technically the 5th main title in the Rayman series. For those of you who care about ratings, the lowest score this game received was 8.5 out of 10 (the game on average had high reviews however the vita version was rated lower than every other version of the game. The highest rated version would be the one released for the WiiU).

For game play, this is a side scrolling platformer with vivid colors and catchy music. Every level has 2 princesses that you can unlock as playable characters, and other characters such as Rayman, Globox, and the teensies have alternate costumes so there’s a character for everyone. While experienced gamers may find that this game feels short, it actually has over 120 levels spread out across 5 worlds. This game also includes Murphy, who players can have interact with some aspects of the environment to complete certain puzzles or take down certain enemies.

Now I know I said the soundtrack was catchy, and that ties into what I love about this game so much. The ‘boss stage’ for each world is a cover of a different popular song, and the movement in the stage is timed to match the song. The first boss stage is a cover of Black Betty by Ram Jam and it was included in the demo. This is the thing that sold me on the game because it’s just so ridiculous and amazing.

If you get bored of the core game, you can even play a soccer game called Kung Foot. While soccer isn’t my cup of tea, I think it’s a fun little side thing to include.

This game has eaten up so much of my life and I always enjoy busting it out to pay with someone else. I don’t know if I’d play it alone, because there’s just something about playing with other people that makes this game 1000 times better. So shanghai some friends or siblings, and go pick up a copy of Rayman Legends.

Mobile Game Highlight- Kingdom Hearts Unchained X

Good Morning!

With Kingdom Hearts 2.8 not coming out until the end of this year, and Kingdom Hearts 3 taking even longer than that, some of us are starting to itch for that experience you can only get from the Kingdom Hearts games. For those of us with that itch, we turn to Kingdom Hearts Unchained X that Square released for mobile devices. The style of which is based around cards or medals that come in the flavors of magic, speed, and power. You still however have a keyblade, with different keyblades enhancing different properties. The biggest thing about this game though is you aren’t playing as Sora this time, you get to be a fully customizable character; and while you may be thinking this is just an offshoot game with no consequence to the story, the story of the mobile game dictates the events that lead up to the Keyblade War, making this a tie in to Kingdom Hearts 3.

This game in true kingdom hearts fashion has you exploring the worlds of Disney and going on quests to defeat heartless in order to collect Lux (the games exp system) and Munny. Another difference of this game (and part of what leads to the Keyblade War) is that when you start the game, you have to pick a faction to join, the factions being Ursus, Anguis, Unicornus, Leopardus, and Vulpeus. You work to insure that your faction is better than the others. Having friends in this game is a strong advantage too, because certain events called raids allow you to take on stronger heartless, but you won’t be able to manage that alone.

The art style of the game itself is very akin to the art used in Final Fantasy Theaterhythm and the game play is smooth with your avatar moving to where you tap on the screen. The game feels like a Kingdom Hearts game, as it should with the tie in to the story, and the combat is quick and simple. It’s a lot of fun to play, but unfortunately it can eat both data and battery so you have to be careful, for example if you haven’t played in a while and there’s a stack of updates when you go to play, those updates absolutely rip through data. It’s the unfortunate price to pay for such an in depth and well developed mobile game.

If you miss Sora, you may just want to wait for 2.8, however if it’s the experience you’re after, KH Unchained X captures that beautifully with all the whimsy, adventure, and musical scores that make up a large part of the series personality.

Adventure Highlight- Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

Good morning!

The adventure highlight for the month is Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, a nonlinear adventure game based around investigation what has happened to the inhabitants of Yaughton in Shropshire, England in the 1980’s. The game has 5 areas that revolve around different characters; however the main protagonists are Dr Katherine Collins and her husband Stephen Appleton both of whom are scientists at the observatory. They discover a pattern of lights that begin infecting and killing other life forms and while Katherine believes the lights are trying to communicate, Stephen on the other hand is convinced that the lights are a deadly threat capable of destroying the human race.

Throughout the game you investigate the town to discover fragments of events and memories as you try to discover the cause behind the apocalypse. This is a game where what you see and what you hear are just as important as what you’re doing. This game made by the Chinese Room won 6 awards, was a finalist for 34 other awards, and received 2 honorable mentions. The soundtrack for this game has been called haunting and adds to the atmosphere of the game.

While this game certainly isn’t for everyone, seeing as it’s far flung from much favored action adventure games, anyone who doesn’t mind a more casual experience may more than enjoy this game. I have yet to play it, but I’m saving the play though for something special that I have planned. Which is also part of the reason this is shorter. It’s a challenge wanting to talk about something but not wanting to spoil it for yourself.

Microsoft post-May

Today we are taking a look at what is going on with Microsoft, as most of you may know the Xbox 360 has been discontinued, Xbox 360 owners will continue to receive Xbox Live services for their console, such as online multiplayer gaming and parties, access to the apps they use today, and Games with Gold and Deals with Gold. Any Xbox 360 hardware will still be supported at xbox.com/support however it is no longer being produced.

As for games coming out,

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan coming out on 5/24 Rated: T This game definitely hits me with a good amount of nostalgia, at least from the trailers and what I’ve read about it so far, it will be available for the Xbox 360, Xbox one, PlayStation 3 and 4, and Microsoft windows.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Blood and Wine is the second major story/land expansion for the massive RPG adventure The Witcher 3. Release date 5/31  Rated: M Available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One This 20-hour tale introduces the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, and will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.

Overwatch Release date 5/24 Rated: E Filled with fast paced combat, there is an emphasis on team coordination and cooperation. Teams are able to switch Characters after a death to try and balance out a match and recover from a team wipe. Short respawns allow people to get back into the action, and fast movement means that action happens rapidly, and life or death decisions are made in split seconds.
