So I know some folks are tired of donation and fundraising campaigns here, but at this point there's like, nothing else I can do here on my own.

I wanna move out from living with my parents. I've talked with my boyfriend about it and his nan has promised that if I move over there, I can take the guest room at her place. I have some of my things packed up and ready to move, and I HAD a job where the extra money was gonna go to paying for the move. Keyword here is HAD. I got fired 3 weeks in cuz I was a temp employee in a warehouse and I got COVID while I was there. I talked with HR and they said that I could reapply after 10 weeks, and those 10 weeks have passed so I put in a new application, sent a call and an email to HR, and now I have been waiting over a week to hear back from ANYONE about it. I'll go to the site in person on Monday to ask them more about getting me in faster than they've been doing, but the amount of available jobs in my area (a bumfuck nowhere oldsville-tier area) is reduced to god damn DoorDash. I never want to do delivery work again after a horrible experience I had with that kinda thing 4 years ago, but until I get SOMETHING giving me money, I need to at least pay a couple bills or get the funds to move somewhere that WILL have a job for me.

So in order to even get me in a better spot employment-wise, I've set up a gofundme to raise funds so I can move the hell out.

I know I can likely find fairly affordable materials and methods to move myself and my things, but I'm giving it a $14kUSD total in case something happens along the way that I need to pay for.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

I am begging you. Please learn about stress/discomfort tolerance. Practice raising it. You need this to survive. If someone online can ruin your day with a throwaway comment, you desperately need to understand discomfort tolerance and consciously, systematically build that shit.

Also! Stress tolerance is such an important skill that having a learning disability in that area is a major symptom of a whole lot of other disabilities/mental illnesses! Struggling with it is a huge part of life! It sucks!

the drama on trans twitter rn is that a trans man has a trans girl oc who doesnt pass and is pre-hrt, and all the twitter tirfs are calling them transphobic and nasty for making a "characature" of a trans woman. this person also has an oc in the same story who is a also a trans woman who passes very well and is very feminine, and its clear the younger trans girl looks up to her, but conveniently everyone ignores this other character who isnt "clocky"

and all I can think is how sorry I feel for pre-hrt or non-passing trans girls who see this drama, see other trans women saying awful things about this character's small hips or her flat chest or broad shoulders or her height. how that makes her a characature and a transphobic hate symbol. and i just feel bad !!!! depictions of trans people who dont pass are important! those people exist and deserve love and representation!!!!
