I really like how @/warmbloodrobot (twitter) draws Sliver of Straw a lot with the unhinged stare and smile and it kinda bled into how I imagine her <//3 The teethy grin on this one doodle is 100% inspired by their design which I adore

And despite her not really having anntenae in game I decided I want to add them and make them look like a halo of sorts. because she's super dead (+ fabled religious figure type vibes)

I JUST REALIZED WHAT THE FUCK IT IS OH MY GOD

I said earlier that Void Worms are the ferrymen to ascension. So are the iterators. Five Pebbles tries very hard with this, literally directing towards the easiest possible path to ascension and giving you the means to do so

The rot worm within the husk of Unfortunate Evolution is a representation of how the iterators ultimately fail to do what the Void Worms do, and end up as more of a failing, rotting mockery that will slowly turn into dust over time, as the worms they imitate outlive them. Does that make sense?

The rot is ultimately about mimicry and taking over what has already been created. It can only exist as a parasite. So... you know. The rot worm itself is not a rotted void worm. Its rot born out of an iterator in the shape of a worm. Its pretending!!!! and yet so so helpless to do anything like the beings it shapes itself after
