She looks sad, almost distant. Like knows whats about to happen to her and she can't stop it no matter how hard she tries.
"i fucked your wife"/"i'm having sex with your wife"/"i'm cucking you": comedy
"i'm helping your wife with household chores"/"i'm taking your wife out to a nice dinner and show after she's had a long day at work"/"i'm bonding with your children over family gatherings": peak comedy
Transcendent comedy

I was finally starting to figure things out, and now I have to start from scratch again.
the key to art is not giving a shit. not giving a goddamn shit. you gotta go to your sketchbook or computer or whatever and just draw free. no rules. do what you want and what feels right. if it looks like shit? no it doesn’t. keep going. keep drawing. you have a skill that is so rare and to keep it is the greatest gift of all.
the funniest thing about people making impassioned pleas for their God Given Right to use x slur is its like… u can literally just say it lol like in real life you can just say a slur n usually th only consequence will be that you hurt someone who trusted you. go for it babes
yes! you too can be the lucky soul to turn a conversational partners blood to ice as they grapple their twin emotions of fear and betrayal, for the low low cost of them silently distancing themself from you!
*has a gay little theology question that angers the pastor*
Do you like games? Trapped at home? Wanna have a fresh experience starring people of color front-and-center?
Let’s talk about ValiDate: Struggling Singles in your Area. A dating sim with a twist.
** (DEMO LINK) ** (KICKSTARTER PAGE) **
Currently one of the top games on Itchio’s dating sim category, written, drawn, fully scored & produced by a diverse team of creators of color, it recently hit funding on Kickstarter, and with 19 days to go you can still help it become fully-realized with all the cool CG art and extra content it deserves!
From the Kickstarter page:
“ValiDate is a visual novel in which you maneuver yourself through the twisting paths of young adulthood.
Set in the Jercy City area, twelve struggling singles in their twenties navigate through the trying ordeals of capitalism to find meaning in their lives. Includes a hint of love, cosplay, and even mediocre mixtapes in the mix.
With 12 playable characters and over 30 routes to choose from, there will be about 20-30 hours of content, depending on how you play it. We don’t know if you be reading fast or not. Whether your decisions are good, bad, or just tremendously shitty, you’re going to have a great time falling in (or out) of love with these characters.“
The twist, if you didn’t catch it, is that instead of playing as a singular protagonist, you’ll be able to play as *12 distinct characters* trying (and failing) to romance one another, as their lives intersect in unprecedented ways.
At the time of writing, you can play as 4 of the main characters (with a demo update coming soon to showcase a bit of Malik’s route) & meet a couple more! they are:
Thanks to the Kickstarter campaign, you’ll now be ALSO able to meet:
12 playable characters with 30+ routes.
The ability to choose horrible decisions and see the entertaining fallout.
#OwnVoices narrative writing by an all people of color team.
Original score by the Boys.
A beautiful array of artists of color’s work to give each character their own individual feeling.
Backgrounds taken from all around the world.
Flawed characters undergoing narrative arcs handled with empathy and self-indulgence.
Achievements for every single ending.
Since the campaign has been funded, TWO of the stretch goals have already been hit, but there’s more to come.
you see, i really want that fishing minigame.
Find more info, meet the team, & check their Kickstarter here! http://kck.st/2ZLTz8w
happy playing!!!! :D reblogs always incredibly appreciated.
“x didn’t get bullied enough in high school” is such a heinous thing to say lmao why are we still acting like that’s an ok thing to say
Apparently this post got notes while I was asleep and then there was drama in the replies which I’m not responding to.
Anyway bullying is awful and frequently a traumatic experience, in reality bully victims are usually from marginalised groups, and being bullied does not make you a better person and its fucking weird to propose it as a solution to someone being a shitty person as an adult especially when half the time people say that they’re just talking about like…furries or other people they find weird who are generally harmless
The fae smiled, sharply: “Give me your name, child.”
“Uhhhhh. Stick.”
“What.”
“Does Leaf work better? I’m just kinda looking around this clearing. Look, I’m trans, I haven’t decided on one yet, I’m throwing some spaghetti at the wall, you know how it is.”
Fae are born with features sharp and narrow, yet this one seems to soften as Moss looks at it. Its grin— sharp, teeth gleaming, its eyes— cutting, searching, the jut and pull of its jaw enough to scratch glass. It does not blink. Branch does not blink. It softens.
“I said, give me your name, child.”
“I still haven’t picked one,” Grass defends, even now still hoping for a way out of a faeries deal.
“No. But your parents did. Give me your name, child, and it shall no longer be yours. The entity of your name shall no longer exist, and you will be free for whichever name you choose— Leaf, or Stick, or Lichen.”
“…oh.” says Petal, and in the next moment a name falls from their lips. It is not their name. It never has been. The fae is sharp and cutting and witty, that moment of softness an imagined slight.
“Very well, child. Be warned of mushroom circles, should you lose your name again.”
“Okay,” Mushroom smiles, and the Fae pulls itself away from their reality in a swirl of feathers and silk.
When they go home for the first time in two months, their mother frets over them in a way she had not since they were a child, and she calls them by no name at all.
Goddamn. This is my favorite version of ‘faeries take your name’, that’s it, we can all go home now.
The fae said trans rights
