Life is too short to have sex you don’t like. Be gross, be weird, don’t do it at all if it’s not for you. Expand your definition of sex. Remove yourself from things that don’t feel good. Find positions and kinks and toys that work for you. Don’t let anyone tell you that sex needs to happen a certain way or happen at all. Orgasms are optional. Involving your genitals is optional. Everything is optional. Do what you like to do and respect what other people do and don’t like to do. Good sex doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself. You deserve to have pleasure in ways that work for you.

Some people will get really insistent about the idea that any sex is better than no sex and I can assure you that it's not true at all. Having tedious or unpleasant or unenjoyable sex is not a better or more worthwhile experience than not doing that/doing something you actually enjoy instead. You're not missing out on something if it wouldn't be enjoyable for you anyway.

I love being in the phandom because I can go from having a serious and heartfelt conversation about sexuality, the pressures of coming out, and the freedom we find in our community to seeing everyone thirst over a grown man in a t-shirt within 30 seconds. and I think thats beautiful <3
