Okay wow actually you guys HATED it

Like yes I totally get that it doesn’t go with the book but like. It’s very clearly not trying to. The whole movie felt like it was trying to be a different take on the story than the book was. And that’s okay! The book still exists, we can still read the book, but like King seemed to be pretty involved with this so you can’t really act like it’s some total unfaithful bastardization. We just have two cakes now!
