Just to put it out in the world, understanding is not the same as agreeing with. I personally understand a lot of stuff when I looked at everything objectively but like hell will I agree with most of the stuff.
So yes you can indeed understand something or why someone does what they did and not agree with them, whether it's because of a legal stance or a moral stance.
!!!VAN HELSING SERIES SPOILERS!!!
This is for my real niche Van Helsing Series Fandom.
Imo, the whole "Axel hate" stuff and people saying they don't like him bc he was angry at Vanessa for Scarlett's death don't understand what grief is or that grief comes in different shapes and forms.
The woman he loved died in front of him and he couldn't stop it.
He understood what she did and why she did it but couldn't understand his own grief.
He did what most people do when they don't know how to grieve, he got angry and turned to blame the only person he really could, Vanessa.
Everyone knows or should know that grief is literally just love with no where to go. So he was angry, it was really clear with how he started crying into her after shooting and stabbing her repeatedly.
Also, the real reason people don't like it. They wanted Axel & Vanessa as endgame.
I also enjoy Axel & Vanessa but I actually came around to Axel & Scarlett.
So I don't think the Axel hate is justified but then again. This is just my opinion.
Just a btw, all those Harry Potter "fans" out there that are hating on the new Harry Potter Series, that's fine. You don't need to like/love all things in a fandom that you're part of but the problem is the hate.
This is who you're hating on btw.
3 little children.
Now the fact that I've seen accounts slandering them and comparing them to the movies cast is actually crazy. Not to mention most of the comments and videos saying how the show is trash when the damn thing hasn't even come out yet.
The only casting thing I actually understand is Snape being black. Hear me out.
The show is meant to be more book accurate or include book details that the movies left out.
Now, everyone knows the Snape plot line is that he's meant to be misunderstood until Deathly Hallows when his character is fully explained. The issue I feel is that nowadays most people will see the characteristics of Snape played by a black man and claim the show is racist for making Snape black and play a character that complex or the racists will use it as a way to hate pocs more than they already do.
I'm not faulting or saying big character roles can't be poc but Snape is an interesting pick with his characterization. I am excited to see how the show goes though.
Besides that, I don't really have any qualms about the casting, I do however have problems with some of the costumes. I saw Snape in a zipper. Snape. Zipper. 🤦🏽♀️
Anyways, you're pathetic if you hate on children. Have a good day.
!!!UNPOPULAR OPINION!!!
Cressida was not wrong when she told Eloise that she talks too much, but was at the same time. Hear me out.
She was wrong to say she talks "too much" but she does tend to talk more than listen when she converses with others.
When she realizes that Pen is Lady Whistledown, it is only because for once she's actually paying mind to what she's saying and how she's speaking when Pen has always spoken that way since the beginning.
Eloise tends to fixate on whatever idea/plan or thought she has until she either figures it out or finds something else to fixate on. Another example is s4 Hyacinth, she tries to converse her interests with Eloise only to be ignored or have rebuttals thrown back at her so she tries to talk about the ballet book she read since Eloise likes to read only to be shut down again.
I'm glad that Eloise is having self growth as a character to those that care for her as she cares for them.
•I remember genuinely not liking Cressida, however, I do enjoy the character development they gave her and I hope she's in the next season with her pink lifestyle•
There is no one in this world that could make me hate Alexander Lightwood.
Because what do you mean he's an uptight buzzkill? Mind you they had/have missions and he's in charge, when things go to shit he's the one that's blamed.
Let's get into when Clary came along. When she brought Simon into the institute instead of like lying and saying a whole bunch of bs or anything to get him to leave, his life expectancy just went down to 50%.
Rule broken.
Then she brought him along to the Silent Brothers.
Rule broken.
Then he got kidnapped by the vampires and she blamed Isabelle.
Funny.
She then went and made plans to save him without knowing anything.
Alec was speaking reason, with attitude (and slight jealousy I admit) but reason nonetheless and Jace and Izzy just goes along with it. Mind you he's the one who gets held accountable.
It's like babysitting fr. If you're watching the kids and something happens, it's your fault. As his sister and "brother", they should understand that but Jace and Izzy lowkey just liked having fun in the beginning.
Difference is Jace & Izzy aren't little kids.
I'm just saying I find it really weird that people call him boring and a buzzkill when all he's doing is making sure his family name remain honourable (what honor it has after the circle business) and making sure Jace and Izzy don't get arrested and/or stripped of their runes and shunned for listening to Clary's "plans" in the beginning.
I have finally finished Bridgerton and everyone is hating Anthony now.
•COLIN & PENELOPE ARE SO CUTE, I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT•
It's become apparent that everyone hates the "main" Bridgerton sibling after their season for some reason. People loved Daphne (she's personally my fav) in s1, then hated her s2 til now. People loved Anthony s2, then hated him s3 til now. People are now hating on Penelope & Colin when s4 dropped. Weirdos.
Now the whole Anthony hate train, as an older sister, family comes first. Seeing as in that time period, it would bring ruin to the family if Benedict ran off with Sophie, I am completely on Anthony's side.
I'm not saying I justify every action Anthony's done, god knows season 1 Anthony got on my nerves majority of the time, but when it comes to protecting his family, his sisters especially, he don't play.
Like they have two more sisters to be married and if word got out just like in Season 1 with Daphne being alone in the garden with Beesbury (i think that's his name, i don't remember) and Simon, it would ruin the family reputation.
Again, for the Anthony haters, this is just my opinion. Don't attack me.
I have just finished season 1 of Bridgerton and am currently on ep 3 of season 2. For some reason all of my fyp is Bridgerton and I've seen nothing but people bashing season 1 and Daphne.
Now, I understand what Daphne did with Simon however she genuinely didn't know that, that was SA. Seeing as she didn't even know much of anything because nothing was explained to her.
I think Simon genuinely should've explained just as he did with the whole masturbation conversation he had with her. She didn't even do that before he told her about it so how could she understand anything about sex? (No I don't blame him)
I do think that because of how she was raised and coddled it led to so many misunderstandings which is why it's so important to have sex ed. So that kids when they hit puberty understand the actions and consequences to such actions before engaging in such acts.
So for everyone calling her a monster, it was unintentional and it's actually kind of impossible for her to even know of that kind of SA or SA at all, seeing as the women lose their honor and suffer compared to men. So it was never really talked about as SA and seeing as they don't even talk about sex at all, how would she know?
This whole thing is genuinely just communication issues. The one thing I do agree with Daphne 100% is that he said he "can't have kids", I honestly thought he was infertile and for didn't even notice Simon was pulling out until Daphne noticed.
To put it plainly, someone who knows nothing of sex, knows nothing of consent. Back then, she probably thought consent was only needed at the start. Before they started having sex, not during.
Imo both were wrong and right.

Now for the really unpopular opinion, I don't know what slowed down for me but for some reason I'm having a hard time binging season 2 like I did season 1. I honestly prefer season 1 to 2 but I do hope I can get back into it like season 1. I genuinely don't know why but I just watch and then when I pause I don't go back to it for a while.
{what I do know is from what I'm watching, Kate is legit the female version of Anthony. I already know they end up together and I love the tension between them}
Oh yeah, I also agree with Penelope revealing Marina's secret. She definitely deserves better but you can't baby trap him. Not to mention he said himself he would've married her if she were forthcoming. But these are just my opinions 🤷🏽♀️
•EDIT - I'm now on Season 3 and Queen Charlotte is actually heartbreaking. When she said, "Come, hide from the heavens with me", I started balling.
My favorite episode so far is actually Ep 3 of S2. I personally love the second half of s2, ep 1, 2, & 4 are all a bit slow but 3, and the second half are amazing pacing.•
Can anyone help me find this pjo fic?
It's a 'Read The Books' fic, I read it on ao3.
The base is that the seven, grover, other demigods (I honestly can't remember) time travel back to Ancient Greece. When I say Ancient Greece I mean before Odysseus even came to be. If I'm remembering correctly they time traveled back to when the gods had only recently defeated the giants the first time.
The key details I remember are
•The Demigods vs The Hunters of Artemis (ancient greece version, Zöe has just joined)
•Deimos & Phobos attacking Percy after they read of how he either answered back to Ares or defeated him on the beach
•Apollo getting pissed off at Percy's thoughts for they are disrespectful
•All the gods aren't as laid back as they are in "present" times
•Zeus is actually reasonable
•Pan is present and Grover sits with him for the first few reads (I think)
•Heracles, Perseus (son of Zeus), & Theseus are present
•Percy duels Heracles
*Yes, there is Percabeth. No, it's not a Annabeth hate fic.*
Those are the key moments I remember. I've been looking for this fic, since forever and for some reason can't find it. So if you know of the fic or the author lmk.
Okay, this is for those who've seen minimum S1 ep14 of the show Crossing Jordan.
I just started the show and am currently on ep14 of the first season.
Now, imo most humble opinion Jordan has to be one of the most annoying characters from an outside/unbiased opinion.
Homegirl is a M.E. and expects to be treated as a cop. Her entitlement lowkey pisses me off, like she genuinely has no right to any of the information she blackmails from people. Not to mention she's terrible at being unbiased.
Don't mistake me for saying she is bad cause she's not. She's actually very good at solving cases but all the stuff she does is literally a get out of jail free card for most of the murders of the dead people she examines.
Breaking and entering, tampering with a crime scene and it's repeatedly, only in season 1.
My biggest pet peeve is she has to be one of the most unprofessional people ever. She quite literally says "with me, everything is personal".
It might just be that I enjoy reading/watching from an unbiased viewpoint but in the show Psych, Shawn & Gus do what she's doing when solving cases but they're not M. E.'s. I think it's their attitude and the way they keep each other in place but so far, Jordan doesn't have anyone like that.
Unpopular opinion but the episode where her friend is the hockey player's lawyer, I agreed with every word her friend said. Jordan's view on the case was messes up because of her traumatic past that she still refuses she address. I loved that she opened up to her dad later that episode.
I hope in the future seasons Jordan can actually heal and maybe get married or at least have some form of commitment since she said she struggles with that.
Also, Nigel is my fav rn.
I personally find it very interesting that there are people who call Daenerys a "monster" and Aemond "misunderstood".
Daenerys burnt down all of kings landing and Aemond lost control of his dragon...right.
Daenerys never said dracarys. She's a monster.
Aemond never said dracarys. He's a poor boy that lost his eye and control over Vhagar.
You can't crucify one and coddle the other.
Both Drogon & Vhagar felt the anger and rage of their bonded riders and acted upon that alone, without commands from either.
I'm not saying you can't hate or love them both but if "she killed children" is your defense for hating Daenerys and not Aemond when Vhagar literally ate Luke, a child, don't talk. (That's without even mentioning Aemond burning all of Sharp Point because they kept their oath to Rhaenyra. How many kids died then? Right.)
You fault one, you fault both. You defend one, you can't attack the other for their loss of control over their dragons.
Thank you and have a good day.
Daenerys Targaryen is the "Prince" that was promised. Let me explain.
1.) In High Valyrian there is no direct translation. So it quite literally is "The Prince/Princess that was promised".
2.) Daenerys brought back dragons.
3.) The Prince/Princess would be a descendant of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen
4.) She is literally in House of the Dragon in Damon's vision. It shows her with Viserion, Drogon, & Rhaegal.
In the books Daenerys is alive and Jon dies.
Jon Snow fans believe he wargs into his direwolf so that when he physically died, he's still alive in a sense.
So, yes. Daenerys is the rightful heir to the iron throne in both book and show.
Rhaenyra Targaryen is the rightful heir to the iron throne, let's talk about it.
Succession always went to the first born son of the king, yes. However, there literally is no legal law in Westeros that a woman can't sit the throne or be heir.
It's literally just Westerosi tradition.
Viserys not only decreed Rhaenyra as heir but he also had all the lords swear fealty to her.
When Aegon was born if Viserys wanted him to be heir, he would do so.
Now, "bastards can't sit the throne". You're right, unless the King, or Queen in Rhaenyra's case decreed Jacaerys as her heir. Which she did.
So, you have an heir to the iron throne that was made heir through all the legal channels and an heir right after her that also is heir through legal channels.
The only thing people who believe Aegon should be King have left is, he's a man. So come on, reveal yourselves. Just block me and you'll never have to see another of my posts.
I genuinely am not one for arguing so if you don't agree, okay. Please block me, thank you and have a good day.

Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase in Percy Jackson & the Olympians 🦉
I can't believe pjotwt & reddit is actually a real place.
My "bias" is Dior Goodjohn - Clarisse LaRue.
That does not mean I hate Leah/Annabeth.
My friend's "bias" is Leah Sava Jefferies - Annabeth Chase.
That does not mean she hates Dior/Clarisse.
This whole "rivalry" and "hate" thing going on between toxic fans need to stop. Just because someone favors one character does not mean they hate another character/actor.
The fact that people are cropping out Dior or Leah, I rarely see it happen to the boys but it's been starting with Walker, the point is it's legit a group photo and you crop it with a slimey ass caption, but I'm wrong when all I say is if you don't like them, ignore them.
Grow up.
You don't have to like everyone, you'll never like everyone on this planet but to purposely post something malicious online, tag them, call them a bunch of slurs, and say their not black just because their not "dark enough", just to delete it when I call you out. LITERALLY CHILDREN. I don't wanna hear "Oh, Dior & Charlie aren't kids", every social platform was posting, liking, and retweeting sexualized edits of them when Dior was legit 15- 16 & Charlie 17. Now it's happening all over again with Leah & Walker, 16 & 17.
Pathetic & Disgusting.
There's a difference between appreciation & sexualization.
Sorry for the rant but last I checked if you don't like what you see - 1.) Mute 2.) Block
It's there for a reason. Use it.
Thank you,
