Like it? I LOVE it❣️
Pokemon fans, reblog and put in the tags which Pokemon would be your ace on a team
Beautiful bb 🍃
My all time favorite.
Smash really made me love him. 😅
Since my birthday is coming up, could you maybe do a scene from Heart, Soul & Mind of my OC/persona meeting the Devil for the first time please? I don’t mind if it’s late.
Well, better late than never it is. But despite the delay, I really loved how it came out!
Also, I made an alternate version with a VHS filter to make it look like it was from an old cartoon (or anime, I guess it shares a little bit of both):
Reblog if you want this show renewed

Nope! We must definitely don’t!
I couldn't find any cuphead wallpapers I liked, so I made one myself. Feel free to use it!
Here's a WIP of my next artwork. As you can see, this is my second artwork that I'm making with my drawing tablet, and it sure was worth getting.
Not only did it make drawing more comfortable, but this new drawing program I'm using wasn't too hard to get used to (and it has a lot more tools and features too!).
The only difference from drawing in a phone is that my drawings aren't as clean as when I do them on my phone (thus having to make linearts again), but for now I'll definitely keep using this new tablet of mine.
Anyways, stay tuned for the finished thing. 😁
Everyone, we must keep fighting for anti-generative AI
A bunch of people my dad carpools to work with got laid off because AI can supposedly do their jobs, and my mom said AI can do the same for animation
Well, you know what? We must keep fighting, then! Not just against generative AI for art, but AI to replace jobs in general! Keep it in the realm of NPCs and video games! AI is a tool, not a worker!
KEEP. FIGHTING. NO MATTER WHAT.
Spread the word!

Awesome! I can't wait to go to university and start learning about animation there so I can do things like this. 🤩
An Unusual Birthday
June 13th 2026, Alicia's Apartment, Night Time.
A normal night with no sounds, nor noises.
The lights were off in every single room. No kitchen gadget, no screen, not even a single light bulb were on.
Each window was closed shut from the light breeze brushing against the slightly dirty glass.
Even the entrance door of the apartment was locked from anyone trying to enter.
Trying to disturb that one person sleeping in the twin-size bed.
The young female adult woman with black-coal colored hair, heterochromia-colored eyes wearing a blue-white checkered pajamas under a forest themed bed cover.
A few plushies, mostly animals like wolves, dogs based on her favorite childhood movies like Balto from the 1995 movie with the same or Dodger from Oliver and Company rested against the wall of her bed.
Alicia. Alicia Powell was her name. Ali or Al as her friends call her.
Her real life friends Katie, Lexie and Natty as well as her cartoon friends Cuppy, Mugman, Cuphead and Mugsy.
With the former she experienced many adventures like having a basketball game against a greedy alien theme park owner to a certain demon who can't accept a No for an answer.
Same with the latter the adventures were intense and adventurous or “bananas” as a certain cup might say.
From collecting soul contracts of former debtors to escaping the Underworld itself multiple times there's nothing the young adult hasn't faced before.
Well, except for a good night's sleep.
All the adventures, chase scenes and yes even the constant kidnapping from a certain demon made Alicia tired.
Tired as a stone, (if stone could even sleep that's the question.) her body rested. Alicia snored, not too loud nor too silent to unheard it.
Biep! Biep! Biep!
“Ugh!” Alicia groaned. “Is it time already to get up?”
The alarm on her smartphone had woken her up from her peaceful slumber of a wonderful day on the beach together with her husband Lucifer enjoying a none-alcoholic cocktail.
A beautiful dream indeed. If it wasn't for the alarm to ruin it.
Yet she had to get up early. If she wanted to or not her work shifts started in two hours and right now her appearance wasn't work approved.
She needed to change her clothes, comb her hair, maybe even style it if she got the time, prepare breakfast and brush her teeth.
All of it needs to be done before she leaves her apartment building to get inside her car.
“Alright.” She removed the bed covers to sit down on the side of her bed. “Time to change my outfit and prepare some toast.” A big arm stretch followed before the young adult stood up.
Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes Alicia walked up to her dresser.
Two white-colored, wooded doors with a silver metal handle attached to both doors opened up to a colorful variety of T-shirts.
Many with motifs of different movies and games. Some with motivational quotes and others with pictures of her favorite animal: The wolf.
A particular red colored T-shirt with a toony styled Wolf caught her attention.
“Hmmm.” Alicia took a good look at the T-shirt. The art style of said Wolf wasn't Disney nor based on the Looney Tunes.
It's a unique style.
The mentioned Wolf on the T-shirt wore what seems to be a sheep costume to blend in with the rest of the sheep.
One sheep noticed the mischievous grin on the wolf’s face. The wolf shushed the one surprisingly lookingly sheep while the rest of the sheep herd continued to munch on the patches of grass.
In the background, hardly noticeable appears a Sheepdog. An Old English Sheepdog with white and black long fur.
With the exception of his big black nose everything was hidden behind a wall of fur, blocking his view.
Thankfully though his big nose caught a strange scent coming from the Wolf in sheep's clothing.
Alicia liked it, like the rest of her wolf themed clothing. “Eh, why not.” She shrugged, switching her pajamas with her outgoing clothes. “At least it’s not offensive.” and at least one of her coworkers will ask her where she got it from. “Probably he will ask if I have an amazon link or something like that.”.
Whatever comes first Alicia is prepared.
The last couldn’t be said for her husband though.
“Something is missing. I knew it but what?” the King of Inkwell Hell muttered to himself.
His loyal subjects, the Demon Imps and Demons were busy preparing everything for the planned Surprise Birthday party for their queen.
Banners, lights, decorations of every kind hung or were stuck to the walls, pillars and the two thrones at the end of the large throne room.
On the opposite end were the food table full of dishes and a mini Bar.
A small blue Imp with wings on his back, a purple nose, hands and feet and yellow stubby horns on his head wore a typical 30s bartender suit.
With the exception of the colors matching his skin tone the suit there's nothing changed but the bow tie.
The bow tie’s color and style were changed to fit the Inkwell Hell vibe.
Which means the bow tie is made of hellfire.
Yet the king of Inkwell Hell wasn't satisfied with the party room. “Something is missing!” Lucifer grumbled in agony “But what?!”
“Duh… maybe the guests?” Said a goofy voice.
“The guests! "Of course!" Lucifer sighs in relief “How could I forget it! A good party isn't one without its guests.”
Without missing a beat Lucifer snaps his finger to send out invites to the party.
Every former debtor from the Inkwell Isle I to III and the guardians from Isle IV (known as D. L. C. Island) received a mysterious floating invitation card.
Each card is tainted in the color black with silver lines stamped on the edge of the card. Golden letters wrote the title “ Alicia's Birthday Party”.
“Duh… maybe you forgot to ask the cups and everyone Queen Alicia made friends with on the other Inkwell Isle's, boss.” A clumsy, shyly fat purple and shortened Demon Imp spoke up to answer the question his king was asking about.
“Oh Dang!" Cursed Lucifer to himself. How could he forget to send invites to the residents of the other Inkwell Isle's.
The version of the Inkwell Isle's based on the TV Show The Cuphead Show.
“How could I forget about the cup brothers, their Elder Kettle and the rest!” Grunting, groaning and facepalming didn't help to fix his mistake.
He needed to fix this asap before the next day began.
“Thank you Stevie.” Lucifer, grateful, thanked the short purple Demon Imp. “I’ll be on my way!” With a snap he disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
Stevie gleefully smiled. “You’re welcome boss!” Grinning like a honey pie horse from one ear to the other he helped a pair of flying purple Imps to carry a bowl of orange juice mixed with different kinds of fruits.

Inkwell Isle's (TCS Dimension)
The sun was shining and smiling as usual while the city was busting with people.
Some people went shopping for groceries or clothing while others were out to eat in fancy restaurants or enjoy a cone of ice cream from the local ice cream man himself.
“Would you like to hear the flavor of today?” asked the ice cream man, an anthropomorphic muffin wearing a candy shop owner outfit. He has red cheeks, white gloves and a very small and crooked sailor hat.
The customers, a trio consisting of a small black cat, a tiny version of a muffin and a sandwich nodded while they licked their different flavored ice cream.
Not far away from the ice cream truck two well dressed humans walked along the street.
It's Sally Stageplay and her lovely husband Mr. Stageplay enjoying a nice walk.
“What a lovely day today my darling.” Sally's husband said “And you wanted to stay in the theater all day long.” Sally blushed a little bit in response.
It's true. She wanted to work on a new script after the last show Cup Rodgers was a hit.
The tickets were sold out before new ones could even be printed out.
Sure she wanted to write another banger like that. Maybe a tragedy of a married couple? Or a love story of two godly figures?
Her head was spewing with ideas. Yet she couldn't say no to her husband’s pleading face.
“What the?” All of the sudden a piece of paper floated towards her and her husband. “What in the name of Macbeth is that?” Her husband responded before the paper fell into Sally's hand.
It wasn't a paper per say. Rather an invite to a party. A birthday party.
“Oh we're invited to my darling Alicia's Birthday party!” Sally excitedly cheered before she jumped into her husband's arms like a bride being carried by the groom.
Although Sally wasn't too heavy her husband had some trouble holding her up without falling on his butt.
“Wha?” Gasped another person. Or a Duo of frogs perhaps. “Gee, it looks like we're invited to a party.” Said the smaller frog named Ribby. “Should we dress ourselves probably or just punch anyone in the face who mocks our outfits?”.
Ribby gulped in response to his taller brother Croaks. “Gosh no! We're guests!” he said before punching his brother on the head.
“So you sayin it's my fault for asking?!” Croaks asked, staring daggers at his brother. “So what if I am?” The shorter response before a boxing ring bell was heard and both frogs punched each other.
Like Sally and the Frog brothers, many more people received an invite to the party Lucifer had planned for his wife and Queen.
One letter floated right in the hands of the Baroness and ruler of the former hidden realm known as Sugarland.
Another landed in the hands of a pirate and his crew mate a female anthropomorphic bunny.
Many more letters were scattered around the Inkwell Isle's before the last one landed in the hands of the old but wise Elder Kettle.
The latter were watering his vegetables before the land landed on one of his tomatoes. “Huh?” He pounded before stopping the water flow of the hose.
Carefully he picked the letter up before ripping it open with his finger. The piece of folded paper inside caught his attention.
Who could have sent the letter? Wondered the elderly, adjusting his glasses before he could clearly see the text on the paper.
“Oh, it's a party invite!” He smiled gleefully before he screamed loudly. “Boys!”
Trembling, crashing and the yowl of the cat were heard before the wooden door opened.
Two anthropomorphic cups, similar in design to Cuphead and Mugman from the book realm stand in the doorway.
Both brothers were curious, yet cautious about their Elderly Guardian and his demands.
After a day of hard work both cups wanted to enjoy a day of free time rather than painting the fence once again.
“What's wrong Elder Kettle?” asked Mugman curiously with a frown. “Did something happen or why are you grinning like you won in the lottery or a chance to play in Roll The Dice?” The older of the two cups asked, giving his caretaker a questionable look.
Of course Elder Kettle knew they would ask him out about the sudden yelp. He wouldn't shout their names without a reason.
“Well, boys I just received this mysterious letter.” Elder Kettle responded smugly. “It seems our friend Alicia has invited us.”
“An Invite?" Mugman said bluntly before Cuphead grabbed the letter from Elder Kettle’s grasp. “It's a Birthday Party!” Gasped Cuphead. “And it's for tomorrow!” Mugman gasped shockingly as well.
“AND WE DON'T HAVE ANY PRESENTS!!!!”
Elder Kettle twitched in response. “Hey, hey now take it easy boys.” He assured both cups and mugs “We have plenty of time to bring her a gift before we cross over to the other world.”.
The party was indeed planned for the next day. The 14th of June. The Day Alicia turns 28.
“Stressing you out like that doesn't help us right now.” Elder Kettle said. “That's why it's the best idea we should head out and buy a present for her.”.
“That sounds like a good idea, Elder Kettle!” Cuphead responded with a smile on his face. “Yeah! It sure is a great idea!” Mugman agrees.
Elder Kettle smiled. He likes to see his boys smiling rather than frowning. “Well let's hop on in the car and get going!” Without leaving a beat the trio jumped inside Elder Kettle's old, but just fine working car.
The motor started, howling as the lights flicker alive before a dust cloud was left behind by the old automobile.
Lucifer spotted the cloud of smoke from way far away. “Well it seems to me they got the invite.” he smirked happily before a frown took over his expression.
“Let's hope He doesn't get a glimpse of the party.” The person Lucifer is referencing to is the version of The Devil living in this dimension. His counterpart to be exact.
#################################
Deep underground where no lights from the surface are able to touch the ground. Where lava flows and demons thrive.
A demon rules over the place called the Underworld.
Brimstone and smoke were in the air and the flames of Hell burned like a wildfire.
Emits the flames of hell was the throne room. Embarked with marble pillars, a long stretched red carpet leading to the end of the room.
At the end stood the golden throne padded with red fabric.
Sitting on the throne was a dark figure, spotting two golden long horns, yellow eyes with red pupils, sulfur-colored claws at the end of its large dark grey colored four fingered hand.
The body was covered in black fur ending in a long engaled tail with a spade-shaped tailend.
It's the Devil himself. The lord of the Underworld, the most feared being on the Inkwell Isle's.
And he's bored. Bored as hell.
“Ugh!” He groans in boredom. “What would I give for something exciting to do right now!” He complained.
Being the king of the Underworld sounds good and all but other than scaring the stupid residents of the Inkwell Isle's or collecting their souls to satisfy a certain accountant named Stickler there's literally nothing to do but rest on the comfy throne the Devil owned.
The sound of tiny wheels screeching across the carpet floor were picked up by the Devil’s ears.
Curious, the Devil followed the sound coming from a tiny trolley pushed by a fat purple Demon Imp named Henchman.
“Heya, boss!” Henchman goofily greeted the Devil with an ear to ear smile on his face “You want something to drink or eat?”.
On top of the trolley, within the Devil's view is a cup with the Label 1# Boss on it, a brownish kettle, a plate with different kinds of snacks.
No normal snacks like cookies or candies. Nope! Demon Snacks like Eyeballs, cut-off rat tails, a screaming mouth and something that's way too hard to explain.
An appetizer for Demons or Imps but for the Devil himself. Not really much. Surely there's something else for him to eat than a living eyeball right?
“You're not hungry for your usual snacks boss?” Henchman asked, wondering if he got the wrong snacks or misread his boss’s facial expression.
“Should I get you your favorite pie or maybe-” “No need Henchman!” The Devil interrupted. “What I want can't be given to me the easy way.”
Oh, right. How could the purple Demon Imp forget about the one thing his Boss wants the most. “The Cup's soul?” He asked sheepishly.
“Yes!” The Devil answered before he realized what the question was “No! Not the damn Cup's soul!” He raged. “I want Alicia Powell to be my wife and Queen!!!!!”
Ah yes, how could Henchman forget about this one thing his boss desires the most.
His own wife and Queen.
How many times did the Devil try to win her over, showed her how much he loved her, gifting her with everything he could.
Only to be flattened by a big, fat No.
“But, boss she's already married to-”
“I DON'T CARE!” The Devil screamed. “ALL I WANT IS HER TO ACCEPT ME TO BE MY WIFE AND QUEEN!” His whole body went up to flames as he roared.
Definitely a state of anger none of his loyal servants want to encounter nor experience. Especially if the flames could literally burn anyone up in a mile radius away from the demon.
But to get any closer to his dream woman he had to go through a giant gate named Lucifer or as the Devil likes to call him “Copy of him”.
Lucifer wouldn't allow him to enter his realm let alone the other Inkwell Isle's.
Unless he wouldn't recognize him and the gift he will give his soon to be wife a special gift on her birthday.
The Devil hasn't forgotten about the 14th of June. He marked the date in his calendar each year to plan something devilishly.
This year is no different and the “gift” in question is as diabolical as he is.
“Ummm boss.” Henchmen said nervously as the Devil summoned something tiny with a dark energy surrounding it. “What is that?”.
The Devil didn't ignore nor avoided the question Henchman had asked him. He was focused on his work, adding in the final touch before it slowly disappeared inside a small black box wrapped with grey wrapping paper and a yellow bow on top.
“This Henchmen is the gift that will change everything.” The Devil announced before he disappeared inside a black cloud of smoke.

14th of June
Overwhelmed and a little bit exhausted Alicia worked on an animated scene from the Movie Toy Story 5.
Jessie the Cowgirl toy, pal of Woody. Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy gang rode Bullseye, Woody's horse. The camera switched the perspective before the Cowgirl turned her head around to command the horse and the army of toys riding toy horses.
The scene was done. The lightning, the shadow, everything was perfect.
Well, not exactly.
Jessie's ginger hair glitched around as she turned her head.
Exactly as the phrase “C’on Bullseye” is said her hair turned into a ball of hair rather than two ponytails.
A typical animation error. Every 3D animator had to experience at least one of many kinds of animation errors.
The fluff ball of hair is one example of it. Though it doesn't mean it's easy to fix them.
Well at least not in one hour. Alicia worked at least five hours on it. Fixing every single frame and reanimating the hair.
Each frame also takes a lot of time to render.
At the end though the scene was done, finished and no errors were seen or clearly visible once the movie hits the big screen in a few days.
“Jeez that took way longer than I expected.” Exhausted, Alicia laid back in her office chair.
She definitely earned that small break.
Or at least to rest her fingers. They didn't hurt but she definitely didn't want to.
Curious, she looked around the office instead, hoping to find something interesting while the program was busy rendering the scene.
Besides the empty work tables, the half empty trashcans full of fast-food bags and artworks of the Toy Story characters plastered on the walls she couldn't find anything interesting.
Although she wondered why she was the only one in the office right. Alicia remembered seeing a few of her coworkers working on other scenes just a few minutes ago.
“Did I overwork again?” She wondered. But the sun hasn't set yet. It wasn't dark outside.
Still she felt something wasn't right and dang her mind wasn't kidding as her Boss, Pete Doctor walked towards her workplace.
“I know that face all too well.” Alicia thought, gulped nervously “I screwed up didn't I?”
It's not the first nor the last time she had seen his stern, emotionless face. He wanted something from her, that's for sure. But was it good or bad is the next question Alicia wondered.
He didn't say out loud what she did wrong or what happened to make him look like that.
His only words were “Would you please join me to the Meeting Room.”
That's it.
Nothing more nothing less.
She had no choice either but to follow him to the ominous dark looking meeting room.
“Shouldn't the lights be on?” She wondered before a bright white light blinded her for a second as she just happened to step inside the room.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
Cheered her coworkers, her boss and to Alicia’s surprise Tom Hanks and Tim Alan.
The voices of Woody the Cowboy and Buzz Lightyear.
They stood in front of her, clapping and cheering for her birthday while two of her coworkers Mike and Enda held a self-made cake themed after Alicia's favorite Pixar Movies and characters.
“Woah! I don't know what to say…” she shyly responded as her pale white cheeks slowly turned reddish pink in the matter of seconds.
She was indeed surprised about the party and celebration. Her coworkers didn't forget it. That's what counts.
“Thank you guys…” sheepishly she makes her way to the cake “Thank you very much.”.
Mike lit up the two candles on top of the cake. A “2” colored in white with blue outlines and star shapes in the middle and a “8” colored in reverse shimmered.
Of course a Birthday song was sung by the group as Alicia prepared herself to blow out the candles and think of a wish she had to keep secret from anyone but herself.
“Ooooohhhh!” Cheering and clapping followed by a traditional speech about Alicia, her new accomplishments and whatever the future is offering.
“May your dreams come true to infinity and BEYOND!” Tim Allen quotes his character as the cake was cut before everyone could take a piece.
“I think they're already become true.” Alicia chuckled in response to Tim’s speech.
“Oh you're still young Alicia.” Tom Hanks chuckled. “There's definitely a wish you haven't accomplished yet am I right?”
He wasn't kidding. Alicia hasn't accomplished anything she wanted yet. Sure she finished her university. She became an animation assistant for Pete Doctor and she officially works on the movies as we speak.
What else couldn't she have accomplished yet?
Owning a house? Probably not with these horrendous market prices in all of California.
Starting a family? She's not really a housewife material.
Whatever it was Alicia hasn't thought about nor was it important to her.
#################################
As the party slowly died down, the last check ups were done for the day Alicia prepared to return to her apartment to finally rest and sleep.
The tires screeched on the hot surface of the streets in the California heat.
Nothing new to the twenty-eight-year old woman who arrived in the parking lot behind her apartment building.
A little bit earlier than usual. Pete Doctor allowed her to go home one hour early to celebrate her birthday.
Although, she hadn't planned anything for her birthday. How could she? Her family were busy and too far away from her, same with her friends.
One of them even lived in another country with a different timezone than hers.
There's no way she could celebrate it like back in the days when she was a child.
Going down the stairs, seeing the piles of gifts on the table, all with her name on it. Her favorite cake with candles waiting to be blown out and everyone singing Happy Birthday to her.
How much she misses that.
“I probably should look at my messages.” She mumbled before the key slid inside the keyhole to her apartment.
Usually the darkness wouldn't bother her that much. The California Heat turns a room from a cozy space to an oven in mere minutes.
The blinds were helpful to keep the heat outside. But an air conditioner was still needed to keep the room cool.
Yet Alicia couldn't remember putting a garland in the hallway nor confetti on the floor leading to her bedroom.
“Who's…” she wanted to ask herself as she followed the track of confetti before she realized who could be responsible for it.
“Lucifer.” Who else but her husband. The Cuphead Devil himself. “He was here again.” She mumbled again. Like he could hear her or just be around the corner.
Usually that's what happens if she returns and something was off in her apartment.
Be it a new dish appearing in her kitchen or a love letter or even a surprise visit.
Whatever it is he was there and he sure is indeed here too.
Sitting on the bed like he owns it, holding a bouquet of beautiful red and black roses, bound by a shiny blue ribbon sparkling in the darkness and a wrapped gift in the other hand.
“Hello my beautiful darling.” Lucifer smiled, waving an air kiss to his wife “Happy Birthday my queen.”
Of course the air kiss struck the same cheek he had kissed her many years ago.
Back then when she had to get used to being half demon and to live in a place called Hell.
But she got used to it, married Lucifer and now she's in love with him. “Thank you honey.” Sheepishly responded with a bright reddish pink blush on her face coming from either the kiss mark stuck on her face or the love struck eyes her husband made, Alicia steps closer to him.
Closer and closer until she ended up in a furry hug. Followed by many kisses and love speeches. “I missed you so much my darling queen.”
Lucifer responded in between the kisses. “I want to hold you like this forever and ever.” His tail, careful and protectively wrapped itself around Alicia’s waist.
Holding her in place while she enjoyed the affection she received from her husband.
“Yet,” Alicia noticed the shift in Lucifer’s tone. Something isn't right. She knows him well. Did he plan something? The mischievous grin on his face could mean he had something planned for her.
He hadn't planned to celebrate my birthday right? Oh yes he did and Alicia didn't even know it yet. “Our guests are probably asking when you arrive.” Okay he has something planned!
“Guests?” Alicia shyly responded. “What guests?” She asked, already guessing who was invited.
Lucifer chuckled. “Oh, no I won't tell you my love.” He whispered in her ear “It's a surprise and surprises only work if the one being surprised shouldn't see what's supposed to surprise them.”
Before Alicia could speak up nor say any sentences her eyes were covered by what seems to be blindfolds. “Hey, that's unfair!” She protests.
“It's perfectly fair in my opinion.” Lucifer chuckled in response to her suffering of blindness. “Besides I know you would peek if I carry you to the surprise so a blindfold is needed.”
As he guessed it Alicia remained silent on her end. Pouting like a toddler who doesn't get what it wants.
One of the many traits his wife and Queen has. And he loves her even more for it.
Lucifer’s heart thropped, almost threatening to fall out of his body if it wasn't for his wife to block the path.
He isn't kidding. Alicia thought His heartbeat is really strong if he sees me.
One of his many sights of showing her how much he loved her. Not because of her beauty, not because of her powers.
Lucifer loves Alicia because he loves her personality. Her shy side, her bossy side. Her annoyed side and her lovely side.
He couldn't choose any of them. He loves all of them the same way Alicia loves him.
Speaking of her, Alicia wondered where she is right now. Sure she was blindfolded right now but the temperature could tell her where she is right now.
And it's not her apartment. Am I back in the book world? She thought.
She could peek if she wanted to. But her husband would have something to say about that. His hands, twice the size than hers, hold her tight against his chest.
He’s definitely not letting her go nor will he allow her to free herself from the bridal style carriage he's holding her right now.
“What's the surprise?” Alicia nervously asked. “Don't tell me it's something stupid.” Wouldn't be the first time she had high hopes for something only to be disappointed.
“Oh you will see it soon darling.” Chuckled Lucifer “Actually you will see it right now.”
Before Alicia could respond the blindfolds were removed and the light blinded her for a very short moment before her eyes could adjust to what's in front of her.
Slowly she could make up silhouettes of familiar figures. Could it be? She wasn't sure but her vision cleared with each second as she could finally figure out who these figures were.
No way! With a clear vision she could finally see the figures and what they were holding.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU Alicia!”
Sang every former debtor, Imp, Demon, friend and family member Alicia felt close to.
From both Dimensions. The book and the Show version, Alicia could spot familiar faces like the cups, both Baronesses, Sally and her husband, even the Guardians of the ingredients were here to sing and celebrate her special day.
Tears were streaming down her face. Cheerful ones. Alicia couldn't control them nor did she want to.
That's what she wished for. That's her only birthday gift no one could give her. A real party to celebrate her birthday.
No messages, no voicemails, nothing could compare it to it.
“Thank you.” She gulped, tearfully “Thank you everyone.”
The cups couldn't hold their enjoyment back. They needed to hug her, right here right now.
Before the Baronesses or any of the other Guardians could do it.
With no time wasted the four brothers sprinted towards Alicia, bumping into her belly which caused her to fall on her behind before she could cuddle them.
“No problem Al.” Said Cuphead smiling from one ear to the other “We're glad we could surprise you with this surprise party.” Mugsy added.
Even he has trouble holding back some tears.
“At least we're done a good job, surprising you, haven't we?” Sally sneakers, shouldering the Show version of The Baroness.
“Oh, for sure we have.” She responded “And besides what's a birthday party without a cake and presents for the Birthday girl?”
On point a group of Imps delivered a beautiful decorated cake to Alicia. It's no secret to know Saltbaker was the one making the cake.
He’s the best chef in all the land after all. Lucifer couldn't ask anyone but Saltbaker himself to create a perfect birthday cake for his wife.
Everything, from decoration to the flavor were prepared for Alicia's liking. The wolf heads plastered around the middle were a nice touch to the moons and the little tridents.
The candles and the entire cake was drawn to look like a cartoon, like everything else in this world. Except for me of course.
But Alicia doesn't mind it. She could eat cartoon food despite not being a cartoon character herself.
She took a deep breath and blew out the candles. Every single one of them. No candle was spared from her breath.
The cake needed to be cut and no one wanted a piece of candle wax on it. or fur from a very certain demon.
“What?” Alicia’s eyes weren’t playing a trick on her right? She didn’t notice pieces of fur coming from inside the cake. Right? Oh no don’t tell me….
“TA DA!” The cake broke apart as no one else but the TCS Devil emerged from it.
The guests gasped and shook, others rolled their eyes and only a few were angry. One of them is Chef Saltbaker.
His rather cheerful smile turned in mere seconds to an angry frown. He wasn’t happy to see his cake, his work demolished by a jealous Demon who doesn’t know when to quit.
To make it worse he wasn’t even invited in the first place.
“Uhh, is he wearing what I think he is?” Mugman pointed out with a disturbed expression between disgust and confusion.
“Yep.” Cuphead responded with an eye roll. “He wears the same outfit during the Cuprodgers casting.” Cuppy added.
Mugsy remained quiet. He wasn’t sure what to say. If he should say anything at all. Alicia kept her distance from the Devil.
The reason shouldn’t be mentioned. She didn’t want to see him nor did she want to know what the necklace he was holding out to her would do. “My dear birthday girl, why don’t you try it on?” he asked with a smirk on his face. “I made it just for you, my love.”
He stepped out of the cake, destroying it more than before just to reach the backing away birthday girl. His lips formed into a kiss smoothing the air between Alicia and him.
Go away! I don’t want to be your wife or queen you creep! “Okay that’s enough!” the Devil stopped. He knows the voice didn’t belong to Alicia. He hasn’t even reached her yet his lips touched something.
Something warm, furry and definitely furious. His eyes looked up. Yep he hasn’t kissed his love. “Oh Dang!" he mumbled.
It was Lucifer, his rival and worst enemy. If it counts to who deserves to own Alicia’s heart and who doesn’t. “Get out of my way you peasant excuse of a Devil!” he growled, pushing Lucifer out of his way to reach a fearful shaking Alicia.
She doesn’t want to know what he has planned nor what his “Gift” would do to her. The glow is hard to miss. It was enchanted. That’s what scared her the most. Please let me be!
“I said that’s ENOUGH!”
The Devil winced and screamed in pain. “YYYYEEEEEOOOOOWWWWWW!”
Like a typical cartoon character in pain he jumps into the air holding his painful and burning butt.
A certain hyena would be proud of him. Even though no thorns nor spikes were stuck inside his butt. But the stars of pain definitely came from Lucifer’s own trident.
The tip slowly extinguished the flames.
Yet the anger remains. On both ends of the stick.
Lucifer was growling in fury as the Devil dared to ask him why he burned him. As if he doesn’t realize he wasn’t invited in the first place.
Fighting over who could have Alicia could wait as a few of the guests surrounding the Devil had something to “discuss” with him. Something important enough to drag him out of the throneroom by his tail. “Wait! Let go of me!” his claws digged in the ground to leave behind a long scratchmark.
But no yelling nor pleading could stop the devil from being dragged further away from the celebration of Alicia’s 28 birthday.
The Birthdaygirl herself sighed in relief from the rather unwanted attention she got from the Devil. Right now she just wants to celebrate her birthday with those she loved the most. Her family and friends.
Jazz music played from a golden gramophone standing on a marble table in the middle of the room.
People danced, cheered or enjoyed the food section on the table like a certain cup with a red and white striped straw who couldn’t decide what topping to choose on his big pile of ice cream he carried around the room.
The rest of the guests enjoyed the party while the person in question celebrated to stay with her special someone, a little far off the party.
“Did you enjoy the party though?” asked Lucifer, gently stroking the back of Alicia’s back as they danced in a slow motion to the beat of the music from afar. “I loved it.” she responded in a relaxed tone. “It was the best birthday party I ever had.”.
Lucifer blushed a little bit. He was a little bit nervous about all of the planning and the dealing with the Devil. Sure he didn’t invite him but never did he think Saltbaker and a few of the former Debtors would take care of him.
Whatever happened to the Devil wasn’t his problem. He can stay in the garbage bin of shame. Surprisingly the Devil was in a garbage bin, stuck from head to toe in garbage.
Only his horns stuck out between a pile of rotten fruits and other kinds of garbage. “That’s embarrassing.” the Devil mumbled slowly crawling out of the trash bin as he dropped pieces of garbage on the ground.
A banana peel though didn’t seem to want to leave his head as it clearly got stuck on his right horn unnoticeable by the demon. “Oh but don’t you think this will be over Lucifer!” swore the Devil raising his fist in anger. “One day Alicia will be mine!”.
He disappeared in a cloud of smoke, admitting defeat once again.
Lucifer: Here comes the birthday girl!
Since I figured Dawg's birthday was coming up I wanted to give her a surprise gift: An artwork of her OC Alicia using her personal ride!
Also, I really wanted to start using that drawing pad for my PC that I got on my birthday, hence why this artwork looks a little messy.
I'll also leave this song that I like here, because I always get reminded of Alicia and Lucifer every time I listen to it.
But anyways, happy birthday @thatdawgthatdraws! I hope you enjoy your day. 🤗
Just a little doodle before bed.✏︎
