Why does the heat gauge go to ten if I'm not supposed to use all ten?

Think of the time you keep it away from 10 as a score. the further away from 10, the more points you score.

And that score translates roughly to how much longer your reactor lasts (which means you get to take it on more missions!)

Honestly?

This mech seems very cool. Almost too cool. I'm no engineer, but it seems like so much is invested into heat management for very little actual heat load.

This would be a pleasure to maintain, I suspect such a solidly built reactor would hardly ever need anything more than a preventative maintenance cycle. This is the opposite of a traumatizing build.

Deep. Well. Heatsink.

It's a good system. I still don't like the recklessness the Tokugawa encourages, but if you're going to use it, the deep well heat sink is good mitigation.

I will be slightly less upset.
