HI LET’S SHARE NICOLE’S WORDS ON THE SUBJECT!
It has been literal years but every time I see Martin’s tweets posted somewhere and his word is shared as truth while her post is not shared it sort of reiterates the fact that we trust men to speak about feminism more than we believe women who experience it.
Interesting, innit? https://medium.com/@nickyknacks/working-while-female-59a5de3ad266
Reading her account of how their boss treated her blows me away. Men are so emboldened that they will literally admit to illegal discrimination casually and face no consequences.
In all the years of seeing this post I’ve never seen a link to her side. Didn’t even know she’d written one.
Adding screenshots of her post. His whole post is there without needing a link. Hers should be, too.
Also, she posted this is 2017! It’s fucking 2020 and I’ve seen his side of this for years, but it took 3 years for her side to make its way to my dash…
I’ve reblogged his story at least twice; it’s time for Nicole’s.
Reblogged him, bout time I got to reblog her.
I’ve never seen either side of this story, so sure, I’ll reblog this.

2026 TUMBLR WHITENESS CENSUS
There are SIX questions total in reblogs, the end will be marked by large green text. If you don’t see all six, check reblogs and grab the version with the ending note.
1/6 - Do you identify as some flavor of white?
White
Non-white
Only considered white outside of imperial core
Insecure Mixed Person externalizing my family racial issues here
Answers amended from the 2025 census based on feedback. If you’re mixed, choose what feels right to you I’m not here to do phrenology or paper bag test you but don’t make it my problem either. When in doubt, ask yourself: would the whites kill you too in the race war?
This census is US-centric because so is tumblr, unfortunately. This poll is also starting with a heavy Black/racialized bias due to my personal followers. The main point of this census is to see how white-dominant the site is currently compared to prior years, as well
For the purpose of this census, Imperial Core will be defined as the following: United States, Canada, Australia, Aotearoa, basically all of Western Europe, Japan, and Israel. If you want to argue about any of these designations, too bad maybe they should stop colonizing.
Reblog from question 6/6 below!
2/6 So is you Black or nah?
Ye
Nah
Insecure Mixed Person externalizing my family racial issues here
Not considered Black in my country, but considered Black elsewhere
3/6 How about trans?
Transfemme
Transmasc
Non-binary/Genderfluid/related but TMA*
Non-binary/Genderfluid/related but TME*
Non-binary but don’t consider yourself trans
Agender
Two-Spirit
Otherwise cultural gender (please share I wanna know!!)
Other not listed
Cisgender
Note for clarification:
*For those who don’t know, TMA means transmisogyny affected (such as trans women, some non-binary people, etc.) whereas TME means transmisogyny exempt (Cis men, cis women, transmasculine individuals, etc). If you want to ask for clarification for which applies to you for the purposes of this poll, feel free to ask and I’ll try to reply, but if you try to argue or quibble about the terms themselves, I’ll block you.
4/6 Are you currently inside or outside the imperial core? (Defined in first post)
Imperial core
Semiperiphery
Periphery
Immigrated to imperial core from outside of it
Other/Complicated
5/6 How many Black people would *actually* call YOU their friend? Online counts.

consider helping two trans women stay housed in the heatwave
hi it’s me again because everything hates me ! im a disabled and undiagnosed trans woman and my roommate is a trans system and we were kicked out of our previous home hours after finishing moving in because the homeowner found out we were trans. he currently has almost all of our possessions hostage in his home and we are staying in a shitty motel we rented with m0ney we borrowed from a friend. we have no family help and no one who can take us in, and we were just denied work after weeks of being led on by interviews and phone calls. we are continuing to look with everything we’ve got. the water here has lead in it so we have to buy water, and the stove releases fumes that make me feel nauseous and lightheaded when i turn it on, so we only have a microwave to cook in. this place is crummy but it has a/c and we need to stay here to avoid being out in the heatwave. please, please consider sharing the post or helping us out. we are trying so hard. thank you. links down there ⬇️
i will soon stop having to make these posts either because i got a job or died so just bear with me !! we are still at 45/350 , please help how you can. thank you very much
Transmisogynists will see trans women talking about how TMEs of all genders will attempt to coercively rape us by forcing us to comptop no matter how much we protest until we break and just do it for them, and assume that WE are the rapists because that’s all they’re capable of viewing us as.
We aren’t women to any of them, we aren’t people, and we sure as hell could never be the *actual* victims. All any of these freaks can see us as are predators and rapists and abusers in waiting.
They don’t care about actual survivors or victims, they care about harming trans women and getting off on our suffering.
here's two articles about how JK Rowling just posted on X an upskirt photo of Freda Wallace, a transgender woman, after deadnaming her and misgendering her repeatedly online.
The wealthy author escalated a social media spat that resulted in posting a photo from a 2023 event at the Institute of Economic Affairs in
Rowling posted the picture taken from below because the trans woman, she said, was "refusing to debate me."
Thank you for posting without the fucking destiel meme
So in summation; Rowling demanded access to a woman’s time and when she couldn’t get it she retaliated by posting an upskirt image of her and called her fat, and some of her fans even went “I think I can see her genitals”.
She literally went “debate me! Debate me!” Over and over like the grifter she is and when she couldn’t get what she wanted and when “no” wasn’t enough she resorted to retaliatory sex-pestery, posting an image of somebody’s body with intention to shame and embarrass and spawn more waspish tittering from her internet followers.
Rowling is trash and this is disgraceful behavior, in case anyone has forgotten.
She had also claimed Freda "deserved" this sexual harassment because of what she was wearing... You know... The same excuse used over and over to try and justify rape.
J K Rowling committed a sex crime against a trans woman (specifically, violating the Sexual Offences Act 2003)
(1) A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a) A intentionally shares a photograph or film which shows, or appears to show, another person (B) in an intimate state, (b) B does not consent to the sharing of the photograph or film, and (c) A does not reasonably believe that B consents.
(2) A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a) A intentionally shares a photograph or film which shows, or appears to show, another person (B) in an intimate state, (b) A does so with the intention of causing B alarm, distress or humiliation, and (c) B does not consent to the sharing of the photograph or film.
maybe y'all didn't notice but fat people who don't hate ourselves sure did notice that people were obsessed with shitting on fat people in the late 90s and early 2000s (conservative political time) and now are again (fascist political time), coincidentally while the market for weight loss has become a 90 billion dollar industry due to glp1s.
you are not immune to propaganda. it makes some people a whole hell of a lot of money for you to hate fat people and fear becoming (or staying, I think like 70% or something of the US is fat) one of us.
a lot of the fearmongering over fatness comes from studies directly funded by the weight loss industry...i think people don't really realize or think about the fact that research can absolutely be influenced and skewed by its funding. there is also research that shows that an amount of the negative health outcomes for fat people come from anti-fat bias. if you go to the doctor with concerns and the doctor simply tells you to lose weight, your problem is neglected and you may not even bother going to the doctor with the next problem.
every fat person you know for the most part probably has a story like this, of medical neglect. many of the stories i've heard personally are when the complaint or the doctor wasn't related at all, like being told to lose weight at the ear nose and throat doctor or at the dentist. it's straight up just bias. it's such a thing that in the show Shrill it's portrayed, when Aidy Bryant goes to the gynecologist and her doctor suggests she get gastric bypass.
the studies on health and fatness are simply not that black and white and there is basically no research that shows that more than an incredibly tiny minority of people can lose weight and keep it off for more than like 2 years. bodies have set points that they gravitate towards, it's not a personal failure. this also is how the weight loss industry succeeds so well - repeat customers.
some of the harm associated with fatness is also due to weight cycling, which is very hard on your body and is even worse if you get off a GLP1, which according to a recent study causes weight to be regained at a rate that is 4x faster than without taking a GLP1.
you don't have to hate yourself. you don't have to hate other people for their body type either. it makes me so sad to see the thinspo tag going around again in 2026 a lot like it was back in the day.

there's so much crazy shit once you go down the rabbit hole. for example, BMI was not invented by anyone with a medical background. it was never meant to measure individual health.
The U.S. weight loss industry reached an unprecedented high in 2023, estimated at $90 billion, largely driven by surging sales of the widely

Trans woman in need of help!!!!!
tl;dr trans woman needs help paying bills, money for meds, and money for food!
Hi! I'm Mordred! I'm a trans woman that loves photography, writing trans smut, and streaming video games for folks to watch. I'm disabled, unemployed, I've tried for many months to get a job, but no where has given me a call back. I'm really desperate to keep a roof over my head, food in my fridge, and the electricity and Internet kept on since my husband (only source of income) works from home.
This is Dove.
I also need money for his food and litter.
I'm genuinely very desperate. And could use any help possible. I have been banned from PayPal and Venmo after a terf harassment campaign got me removed from both and ruined a lot of my life (keeping me from making money).
My only ways to receive money are with cashapp and zelle. Cashapp info below, DM me for zelle. If you need PayPal or Venmo, I could share my husband's in dms.

recollections
Today I published Chasing Uncertainty, my second Cento poetry compilation. Centos are similar to blackout poetry, and this arrangement is created from All The Black Girls are Activists by ebonyjanice.
These poems are based in Transfeminist Womanism—a synthesis of Transfeminism and Womanism—and were created with Black transfemmes in mind. All are welcome to read and resonate with these pieces, but Black transfemmes remain the primary audience.
Feel free to share your thoughts with me once you read it or as you read it, and I’d deeply appreciate it if you shared/reblogged this when you see it, to help expand its reach 💖

I missed the bus to work today (simply couldn't get my legs moving fast enough), and I realised that I had the silver lining to have free time to read thorough all of these works, and how powerful they are. I see myself in parts of them, sure (i am, after all, a trans woman), but to only absorb as much of a work that speaks to me is to not absorb the work as it is. These are the stories of Black Trans Women, and I am not Black.
Instead, what I feel reading these works is humbled. Not in a self-flaggelant way or any kind of white guilt bullshit, but the kind of humbling that I felt when I was brought on Country, and felt the power of those traditional lands as I looked out to sea.
And these works carry a similar power to them. They hold a deep connection to Transfemininity and Blackness that cannot be disconnected from each other- A connection that I lack the lived experience to fully grasp. It's for this reason that I am grateful and humbled; To be invited in and see such an important, powerful story.
A few things stuck out to me. I saw myself in parts of every work, more or less, (especially Call Me By My Name, Bodies and Shame) and it was my inability to see myself in the others that really spoke to me. If you stripped away the meaning, painted over the details, and do the very things that When The Story Was Stolen talks about, it could be my story. But I'm not going to do that. These works don't serve as a mirror for me, just as a story of my life could never fully reflect a Black Trans Woman's back at her - like a window, reflecting parts, while others are lost in the gaps. In a way, these stories are stained glass. They present something to me. Something important. The parts that don't reflect me are the parts that I must see.
soft trans girls caught me off guard. It's perhaps the most stark story in my inability to see myself in it, for one reason. I see myself as a soft trans girl. I think those around me in my life agree. I've never really had any pushback on that- not counting the pushback to being a girl more generally. The poem confronted me with the very real reality that something i hold close to me, intertwined with my own transfemininity, was often denied outright to the black trans women around me. Even in accepting spaces, if you can call them that, a Black Trans Woman is expected to be the strong woman, the stalwart defender, and the unaffected stoic. And, simply, that's just not fair.
There's a quote in Cleansing that sticks with me.
Black trans joy is so important) But, Black trans pain is the catalyst upon which most allies show up)
It sticks with me because it's true. I won't pretend to be innocent here, I'm certain there have been times I've overlooked the joy in things to focus on fighting the pain. In a way, I was doing it while I read the compilation. The truth is, there's joy intertwined throughout all of these works. Certainly, these are works of lived experience, and the struggles that paint it, but these struggles are themselves bound to the joy of being truly one's self without reservation. In a way, I think that joy is liberatory, too, so we can't forget it
