ONE PIECE COMMENT RELATED: Currently in 767 (Zou Arc)
Actually I have a few things to point out.
First, RIP Ryonosuke. We loved you.
Second, I found interesting how Pekons (the lion that works for Big Mom) was ready to get punished by her because he wanted to pay back the Mugis for saving the minks of Zou. Honor amongst pirates, maybe?
Outside of Skypiea where everyone was scared af because of the silhouettes in the sky, I've never seen Sanji so scared for his life.
And I found so great and powerful that he rejected the marriage (even if he's insane and willing to be with a female at any cost) just because that would mean Luffy becoming someone's subordinate. He could negotiate marrying someone against his will because his shitty family (as far as I know) left him with no choice. He could never accept his captain being someone else's subordinate. Nobody touches Luffy's freedom.
Then Chopper surprised me (this thing I've never seen it being mentioned) because as soon as he saw Sanji scared as hell, he didn't hesitate and suggested to go against a fucking Yonko. Keep in mind. He's the youngest. He's the third most scaredy Mugiwara. His main functions aren't fighting. Luffy wasn't around. The big part of the force (we must admit it. Franky, Zoro, Usopp and Robin are strongest and can compliment each other better than Brook, Chopper and Nami) wasn't in Zou yet. He was ready to go down for Sanji.
Zoro being relaxed about Sanji's sudden leave was weird, but he was right. Sanji didn't leave thanking them for being a real family, didn't apologize for not being enough. He just said he had something to do. Zoro kinda clocked in the moment that since they were already helping Law with Kaido, also having Big Mom causing struggles was too much. Sanji needed to do what he had to do in order to protect them all, his family in the East Blue and the okamas, apparently.
About that, Zoro's way of dealing with this is pretty much the same. In the Davy Back Fight he told Chopper to Be A Man/Man Up and accept that unless Luffy wins him back, he would be part of Foxy's crew. He let Luffy and Usopp fight in Water 7 because that's what men do for their honor. Now it was time for Sanji to man up and fix this problem on his own. He asked them all to be left alone to fix this, I'm torn between Zoro respecting that decision as a man and Zoro believing that Sanji would fix whatever it is and get back in the crew. They can't be the Wings of the King of the Pirates if there's only one wing. Plus, they need each other as characters. And asides from the next arc being the Mugis that weren't in Dressrosa+ Luffy, I'm pretty sure that Zoro not being there was a "respecting Sanji's decision to fix things on his own and without help. It's not manly/honorable asking for help in this kind of stuff.
Then the Minks almost being killed for hiding the secret of Raizo, that they didn't hate the samurais from Wano and Momosuke being someone important was a shock. Mostly the fact that they literally almost got killed protecting the ninja. I couldn't believe it.
Also in random comments, Sanji has out of nowhere 35 siblings-in-law. RIP, Sanji. We loved you.
Also in random comments as a ZoSan shipper: Zoro offended at Sanji getting married out of nowhere because now his curly is unavailable for casual encounters and after two years they are still not confirmed but now he's getting married to someone they don't know and it's the daughter of a Yonko. Mossy has motives to be a hater. :p
