the thing about tumblr is that it’s techniquely a social media but at the same time it isn’t very…social. Like I remember in 2013 tumblr networks were a huge thing but almost all of them were on Facebook because tumblr didn’t have a messaging system other than asks/fan mail. Don’t get me wrong I made some friends on here but at the same time if you aren’t intentional you can spend weeks actively on tumblr without actually interacting with anyone?? Like it’s the most anonymous website without intending to be. Ngl I am mutuals with so many people and I could not tell you their names or what they look like without going to their blog and searching tags. And if people change their urls there isn’t even a chance of me remembering who they are lol. But at the same time I think that was kind of the draw because you can do and say almost anything without the shame you would have on Facebook or IG where you are a real person that people know. Like I had one post that was basically just fuck fuck goose and it got 700k notes??? Where would that get me anywhere else but weird looks and angry reacts on fb
The worst part about having mental health issues is that you’re seemingly required to have a breakdown in order for people to understand how hard you were trying to hold yourself together.
I have never seen it explained so well.
Corduroy was always my favorite!

WHAT.
a man: men now have to think before they speak, they are afraid to be criticized or accused of something, can we believe that we have to live like this now?? uwu
all the women that had to grown up being super self-aware of what they wear, what they think, what they say, how they act, where they are, with whom, etc in every aspect of their life, all the time, in this sexist society (especially women of color, non-straight women and trans women): good. finally you all have to learn how to behave.
if you’re a baby gay and this is your first pride, watch your drinks! men are trash across all sexualities
I know boys don’t get these talks so let me clarify:
This doesn’t just mean alcohol
Don’t accept any open drinks
After you get your unopened drink, you keep it in your site
You have to go to the bathroom so you leave your drink on a table? That drink is now dead to you.
You’ve been holding your drink way low out of your eyesight and people are crowding? That drink is now suspect.
Stay safe, babies
Also: Rohypnol (a date rape drug) tastes VERY SALTY. If your drink is suddenly salty, STOP DRINKING IMMEDIATELY.
Buddy system, y'all. If your friend is acting *way* drunker than they should, take them to an Urgent Care or ER. Date rape drugs can kill you.
always rb
rb for the advice
And not just the boys, but girls too.
Just because you’re in a bar or club with only other women does not mean you are inherently safe.
My best friend got drugged by a girl in an all female bar and was almost raped in the bathroom.
Always remember to be careful.
Alllll of this. I’ve seen some shit at pride man… Be safe

The key to getting over imposter syndrome is to know everyone else is an imposter too. Tell yourself you deserve a stake in the scam they’re all running.
#fake it till you fake it better
I’m dying. xD
This is my new motto.
