So the new roommate is ghosting me after taking $2500 from me. Awesome.

So this chick waits until almost midnight to message me back. Move in date is now apparently 31 July. I wasted an entire afternoon and evening waiting to hear from her about what was going on, and had to drop $230 on a hotel room instead of the $50 or so for the Homestay I could have booked.

Whatever savings I had has been completely destroyed by this move between the hotel, Homestays, unnecessary Ubers, and additional, unnecessary meals out.

I have about 90 minutes to figure out where I’m staying tonight because my new roommate and landlord are dicking me around about getting the key to access the unit. I fucking pissed. I was supposed to be in there 4 weeks ago, and they keep moving the date in which I can access the unit.

Awesome, I need to checkout of my rental in like an hour, and I still don’t have my fucking keys. Guess I’ll camp out at work with my shit and go from there.

It is almost midday, and I still haven’t been told when I can get the keys to my new place that I was supposed to move into 4 weeks ago. I have other things I want to do today and I can’t do anything until I get my keys. And it’s pissing me off.

Plus a coworker told me I would be starting my tenancy off on the wrong foot if I said something about how the landlord’s insurance should be covering part of what I spent on having to rent another room elsewhere for the last four weeks.

But apparently making me homeless to a month and constantly moving around my move in date isn’t starting off on the wrong foot?

Tonight I ran point, and I’m still responsible for shutting down dish.

Cool. So I’m cleaning the flat top and this asshole decides to stand around with a stick up his ass instead of sorting the cutlery, and then became inpatient because I still hadn’t cleaned out the crap in the sink. Like dude, dish could’ve been primed for me to finish it if you hadn’t chosen to stand around doing nothing.

I am a responsible adult, I say, as I am forced into changing a dentist appointment that was set up based on me having already moved into my new place.

Now to contact the moving company to get the to deliver Tuesday afternoon.

I was told laundry was included with the room I’m renting, but every time I’ve gone to use the machines, they’ve had something in either the washer or dryer. So I’ve had to do all my laundry at the laundromat. And the last couple times I’ve gone to this specific one, it hasn’t been open at the posted 9 am listed and I’ve had other things to do, so that’s forced me to the one across the street that only takes quarters. If I knew I’d need $10-$20 in quarters, I would’ve gone to the bank and had the correct change.

I shower before bed to wash the day away, especially after work. So this damn heat has me showering twice a day because of night sweats from simply existing in my room. I’ve literally been here two hours and I’ve sweated more than I did the entire day.
