last year for christmas my best friend got me this talking kylo ren plushie as like.. a fun joke? and i just found it again, but i had forgotten he talked, so i picked it up and he goes I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY FOR A LONG TIME and i dropped his ass on the floor in surprise, and that’s what’s going on with me this morning

They’re already in the middle of cajoling the porg out of Syberius’ arms while putting up defenses, which is somewhat antithetical to what Go Fish Iasc has to say. “It’s up to the pilot to keep wildlife off their ship. I’m not responsible for puttin’ up flypaper in every passin’ freighter, yenno.” That said – Go’s holding it like a baby. They nods towards the cabin door; this bird is going outside. Their walk slows a little while the three of them pass by a small nest nooked in between a series of pipes, and the porg coos mournfully. “I don’t feel good about displacing it.”
to be honest, sy has no idea how these porgs got aboard. he’s not sure what they are, where they’re from, or what they want from him when they stare at him with those big porg eyes. but he knows that he cannot allow the millennium falcon --- a ship that survived the galactic civil war! a symbol of hope and resistance! --- to meet her end like this, overrun by local fauna.
“uh, i hear ya, but you might wanna take wildlife security protocol up with chewbacca, seeing as he’s the pilot, and all.” (sy will not be taking protocol up with chewbacca. sy prefers his arms to remain attached to his torso.) “d'you... know what these fellas are?”

for what it’s worth, because this is Me, i have like a dozen npcs who are just... random people sy knew and worked with on coruscant. they’re mostly aliens and/or criminals and i really will reference them all the time if you enable me in the slightest

“so how does it... work, you know? shape-shifting? i knew a clawdite back on coruscant and they always said it hurt, but i dunno if it’s the same for you---” sy punctuates this by rubbing at a grease-stain on his cheek with the back of his hand. he only manages to smear the stain. “and i mean, they can only do humanoid shapes, mostly.”
