So I have a sort of statement/dilemma. My fiancé and I never really see eye to eye on most issues but this is really bothering me how we’re having so many problems around the Black lives matter movement. He feels that by singling our one race it’s not okay. It should be all lives matter. I feel the same but I told him I support black lives matter being a mixed raced woman because until black lives matter, all lives can’t. I feel like he keeps fighting me on the situation saying that as a white male he is seen as evil. I’m trying to help him understand the situation but he keeps making himself feel like the victim. It’s really causing me distress because as I said we’ll be getting married and eventually have kids. The kids will obviously be mixed race but we don’t know how light or dark they will be. If are lighter than myself I don’t want them to be denying their black roots and passing themselves off as white without acknowledging their whole heritage. I also don’t want them to listen to him and not understand how things for black people aren’t as easy as being white. I’m 25 and I have experienced slight racism before. But he doesn’t seem to get it. What can I do?

Reminder that puffins are extremely social and like to fit in with their friends, so they will adopt mannerisms and interests of the group. So there is a good chance this little guy is trying to be friends with the photographer by showing his interest in the camera.

Actually no. The black mirror episode came out far before it was revealed he was, in fact a pig fucker. In fact the episode aired originally in December of 2011, whereas “Piggate” happened in April of 2015. The writer has even denied knowing of the incident at the time of release. It was surprisingly, a massive coincidence.

I took this picture of my friend’s frogs and it weirdly exudes the same energy as those solemn 1890’s couple portraits where the husband and wife are embracing each other but staring at the camera with dead eyes and zero expression. Well, that’s the vibe I get at least.
