I wore my Tulip cosplay from Infinity Train to Anime Next this weekend =D
I didn’t have time to post draft photos before the con, so I took some after. I made the jacket, leggings, skirt, glowy-hand attachment, and one-one. I couldn’t find the draft I did for the skirt, but I did find the leftovers of the fabric I used. I dyed the jacket fabric (originally white) with with Rit Synthetic Peacock Dye and iPoly Green Dye. The skirt was dyed with Rit Synthetic Frost Gray Dye and Rit Black Dye. The legging’s fabric was bought with the color seen above. The white undershirt, boots, and backpack were bought from Amazon.
One-One was made using 3D printing and was made of about 13 different pieces (not including nuts, the rod, and screws). I will upload something later about this and more pictures of what it looks like on the inside.
The numbers were also 3D printed, while the green sheet was electrical-cuttable paper bought from ebay. It glows VERY nicely in dark spaces and gives a nice effect when taking photos.
I took seflies and my friend took a few photos of me over the weekend, so I’ll upload those later ^>^
I’ve come to the realization that I spend far too much time on making simple things like this
Hey guys! Here is what I plan to work on for the next year! I messed around with some patterns and estimated prices over the past few weeks, and I believe I have a good idea of what I want to do.
“Working on First” section is basically what outfits I want to work on first. This doesn’t mean all of them will be done at the same time, but that I’ll prioritize them over others. The “Maybe/Ehh??” section are things I’m still uncertain on due to either groups not being fully formulated, old projects I’m not sure if I want to revive, wonky proportions (looking at you Mipha), or cosplays I’m not into anymore. Below are my plans and what else I’m going to do.
For the “Working on First” section, I have (top left to bottom right):
These were all chosen for a number of different reasons, mainly because I wanted to challenge myself in different fields I consider myself weak in (i.e. wigs and armor making).
For the “Maybe/Ehh??” section, I have (top left to bottom right):
- Lapis (Steven Universe), Raven (Noflutter design), Plusle (cowslip gijinka), Mismangus (cowslip gijinka), Tenticruel (cowslip gijinka), Vespiquen (cowslip gijinka), Mipha (Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), Scorpio Armor (Me).
I’ll see how these unfold as stuff progresses. I’m probably going to work on Cherrim, Leia, Tulip, and Ballroom Boss first, but this will depend heavily on progress with my Research paper (potentially publishing :0) and grad school stuff.
In other news, tonight I want to overhaul my layout and post pictures to my facebook and instagram so I can finally show those off. Yay progress~!

These were photos of my Princess Leia Cosplay in our “test shot” location. We basically tested some photos in this spot and then moved onto a new location. However, some of these photos were wayyyy too good to pass up on! So here ya go~! I’ll upload the other set of photos after I’m finished editing them ^^
This world is dark and it’s so hard to breathe… but in this instant, when I laughed along with you, I felt that breathing just got a little more easier.

Well I finally finished undergrad and will be set until grad school starts in the fall~! I think its about time i made a schedule for myself to follow, so take this piece of paper that I scribbled on earlier today and then hung in my bedroom:
I am hard core going to stick to this thing. I technically should be spending more time on my research rather than cosplay but I will seriously regret not doing more cosplay now that school is out. Once I get grad school started in the fall, however, things will change, but I will still make time for cosplay unlike my undergraduate self.
Starting tomorrow. This takes effect o>o.
ALSO: I made an instagram and facebook, but I need to upload photos and put on cover photos before I unveil it here. So an update on that will come asap.
For those of you who stuck with me for my basically 2 year hiatus, thanks so much ;’). I have two exciting projects I am now working on and enough money to fund both thanks to the research I did! More on those tomorrow!
