Camazotz

Portrayed by Jesse Conde

This superspecies shares many characteristics with the Chiroptera animals, or the bats. Instead of having a pair of large ears, the Titan’s ears are hidden in the dense mane below his pair of large, curvy horns with the left side broken on his skull. He is almost completely blind but the eyes glow in red, giving the eye bioluminescence to communicate with opposing Titans. His leathery wings are torn and aligned with irregularly grown Thorns. Camazotz also possesses a pair of muscular legs to stand bipedally. His tail is long and prehensile, different from ordinary bats.

The monster displayed the ability to release powerful sonic screech to disorient other Titans. This created a theory on Camazotz communication through sounds with the Hellswarm, the lesser Camazotz-like creatures, elaborating on the use of multiple frequency channels to transmit signals without interrupting the hivemind’s function. How Camazotz can withstand his own sonic screech but being weak to other loud noises is also a popular topic for discussion in Titan threat research.

Titanus Camazotz or otherwise known as ''Deathbat'' is depicted as the mesoamerican god of death. Camazotz is one of the most feared titans to ever live. Striking fear into humans and other titans alike. Camazotz lived in an ancient bat temple in Peru. That housed the cave he lives in. In 2019 King Ghidorah woke him up and he unleashed his wrath on Peru. Eventually reuniting with his allies Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl. They then were called to boston. Where they found Godzilla, King of the monsters They bowed in respect, even Camazotz. Recently, the death bat fought Kong in Skull Island, nearly killing the giant Ape, but with the help of Monarch, Kong won the fight and chucked the bat down to the hole where it emerged from in Skull Island. It survived and is awaiting in the Hollow Earth for vengeance against his new arch enemy, King Kong

Chiros the Destroyer

According to Lua, Chiros was once Shikala, an Atlantean Shaman who, dissatisfied with knowledge, sought to master forbidden powers that would unlock the cosmic forces of the universe. However, something went wrong during one of Shikala's rituals, and he ended up unleashing the dark forces of chaos upon Atlantis, which also transformed him into a terrible demon powerful enough to destroy the universe, and he was known from that very moment on as Chiros.

With his new powers, Chiros sought to rule the world, starting with Atlantis. To resist him, the ancient Shamans united their powers in the form of the twelve sacred Primal Stones, which was the only force that could stop him. The final battle between Chiros and the Shamans seemed to be an unending one, but ultimately, the original Kong rose to help in the fight, and Chiros was finally imprisoned in a mystical tablet, and the thirteenth Primal Stone, the Time Stone, was created in this process as well to banish him into another dimension where he was supposed to remain forever.

Skarking

In the dark depths of the Hollow Earth, an old, yet mighty undiscovered beast basks in the glory of it's dozens of victories. The creature surrounds it's throneroom lair with countless piles of bone creating a rotten vale. This mysterious beast, with piercing glowing blue eyes containing a hidden power, awaiting the arrival of its next victim.

For this unknown member of Kong's species motives are still unclear, as it leeches off the life of the Hollow Earth, like Lazarus, the beast still lives despite it's natural age. The creature senses the cataclysmic battle between the last of his own kind, against the last of the Gojira, suddenly they both align with each other. Though the old ways of the ancient rivalry may be dead for Godzilla & Kong, the old traditions flourish and shall be enforced upon them by the wrath of this colossal destructor.

Iporahati

Portrayed by J. Pat O'Malley

Colonel Hathi is the leader of a herd of Skull Island Long-tusked elephantoids, which he runs similarly to a military squadron. Every day from dawn, Hathi has his unwilling herd march all over the jungle. However, his strict orders and constant marching sometimes cause members to consider a "transfer to another herd".

Carutigra

Portrayed by George Sanders

He is the most graceful and amazing Holy Tiger on skull island, As he is a supersized individual of that species, many members in the exploring party mistaken it as only an illusion when they first see him. In forest, jagged leaves on his body are shining in the wind. When we observed him from a short distance, we got many feeling including dizziness, wild joy, even hearing its heartbeat. Aborigines on this island awe and fear him, and call him "Highness in the Wind". Cartigris is the largest holy tiger ever discovered.

Angror the Invincinator

Portrayed by Morgan Freeman

Angror the Invincinator is portrayed as a dinosaur who deeply desires the respect of his community and was willing to lie for many years of his life to earn that respect. He is also boastful, as he frequently reminds others that he is the oldest and wisest member of the Great Valley. His desire for importance possibly stems from his childhood, as he tells others that he was very shy as a child and lived a solitary life. But when he heard distant walkers talk about all the sights and experiences they had encountered, he saw a path to higher status and began, as a young adult, to pretend that he had lived all those experiences himself.

Chondar

Portrayed by Erin Moriarty

This sabertooth descends from ancestors who must have hopped from island to island in the early Pleistocene. It is not so large by the standards of saber-toothed cats, hunts in ambushes and can bring down animals weighing up to a ton. It produces a loud roar to proclaim its territory, this call resembling a louder version of a man sawing a log.

Chondar has a coat of tan fur, with a brown mane around the neck and shoulders similar to an African lion, but unlike lions, the brown coloration of his mane also extends over his head and face. Like the island's cave bears, this saber-toothed cat has become accustomed to living in the highlands to avoid competition with the larger theropod dinosaurs of the grasslands. Unlike bears, these cats have to rely on a mostly carnivorous diet, so they have to constantly hunt highland mammals and birds.

Lady Kong

Portrayed by Elisabeth Shue

The female ape is known for being the mate of Kong as it turns out that her ancestors have been taking refuge in one of the places of the Skull Island to escape the ancient Hollow Earth War.

Lady Kong is the wife of the notorious King Kong of our current times, she resided secretly within the Hollow Earth; until King Kong traveled to the Hollow Earth and made an alpha call, drawing Lady Kong's attention, she responded and both apes became attracted to each other. After meeting each other, they developed a close relationship and now rule the Hollow Earth as king and queen.

Behemoth

Portrayed by Ray Romano

Due to the imperfect guide of myth, legend and religion, Kaiju often turn up in places you wouldn't expect them to be. Behemoth is a key example of that: though believed to have first entered man's consciousness when he was sighted just outside of Jerusalem during the time the Bible was written, he was found by MONARCH in Brazil.

Behemoth is a monster who cares little for the human race, but is very sentimental towards the wildlife, especially the vegetation. He appears to actually become enraged when humans or other Titans deforest huge areas of forest.

As of recently, while the MBUC has been occupied dealing with the wave of Mega-Beasts on their hands, with the help of Satoshi and his friends. But unbeknownst to the group, several more Mega-Beasts have been located all around the globe, hibernating, Mikaela initiated Project: MONARCH to go on the search for the new Mega-Beasts, what to discover, and this is one of these Titans discovered. Discovered in the Amazon Rainforest, in Brazil, the natives of South America respect this giant hairy beast who protects this forest and all life who lived in it. Behemoth is naturally a docile creature, spending its days away from sleeping and eating, and breeding new life in the plants thanks to its feces which acted as a fertilizer and grow new species of plants, the jungles of South America are lively. This titan doesn't want to be provoked, but if rubbed the wrong way, this beast can be territorial and is a force to be reckoned with. Any more info would be required and the search for these creatures still rages on.

This mammalian Kaiju has a spectacular ability to restore plant life, whether from the pollen in its fur or the excrement it leaves behind.

Behemoth’s kind nature and helping out innocents caught up in Kaiju battles and rampages immediately endeared him to humanity once he was free of his Late Morning Syndrome. His presence is often enough to calm many humans.

This creature is docile by nature, but it will occasionally become very territorial, and when he does, nothing gets in his way. Behemoth is currently monitored in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. The oldest sightings put him as recently as 12,000 years ago, making him an example of a more recent Kaiju species. Should Behemoth awaken, he would be a force to be reckoned with.

Behemoth is by far one of the most gentle and friendly of all Kaiju, if not the most gentle and friendly. Even when in forests where he would be almost completely unable to see the wildlife, he still awkwardly tiptoes around to avoid crushing anything underfoot. He frequently helps rescue people and animals affected by the rampages of malevolent Kaiju, and will frequently do this whilst his allies deal with the aggressor.

Behemoth has roamed Brazil (specifically its hillier regions, Guanabara Bay in particular) for millions of years, with his species, Macrotheroides Canaanicus, being a derived (or at least, surprisingly close) relative of mammoths adapted to scaling the cliffs and mountains of their home. Interestingly, Behemoth's species had a fierce rivalry with Leviathan's, who was described as Behemoth's arch nemesis in the Bible. This is believed to have been caused by Leviathan's kind occasionally venturing into the seas around Brazil and into the waters of Guanabara Bay to pick off juvenile E. bibliorum. Behemoth's kind eventually went extinct (apart from him, as he ventured into a Hollow Earth tunnel in the nick of time) by the massive climate upheaval at the end of the Ice Age.

MONARCH scientists believe Behemoth's inclusion in the Bible was influenced by him coming to Jerusalem during the time the Old Testament was written. How exactly this happened is unknown, but MONARCH scientists believe that Behemoth followed his old rival Leviathan through the Hollow Earth tunnels, eventually clashing with him and Ziz in the deserts outside the city. Of course, this is all mostly speculation, and who win this battle is actually unknown. Regardless, Behemoth was able to retreat back to his old stomping ground of Guanabara Bay (or at least beneath it) after this epic brawl.

Gaw

Portrayed by Jim Cummings

Another resident of Skull Island, GAW is a giant species of Dromaeosaurid that once ruled the island with an iron fist, until years later, Kong and some other Mega-Beasts help defeat her and usurping the raptor, ending her reign of terror. The Deathrunners (Aggroraptor Rufus) are one of the most savage Mega-Beasts that thrive, even more so deadlier than the Skull Crawlers, as they kill for pleasure and they love it, while the Skullies were more so savage devourers of life.

An ancient theropod dinosaur whom is unique for it's opposable thumbs, balanced mesomorphic build, and hyper intelligence rivaling that of a Gojira. With no other titans to challenge her, and Godzilla enforcing his rule on the surface, Gaw fully assumed a tyrannical monarchy over the Hollow Earth for a millennia. Gaw was the top of her clan, leading a pack of Deathrunners at her will, and pledge loyalty. Though other than Kong, they also have a heated rival with the noble Veroghas, as they see the Deathrunners as a threat, and even a bringer of bad luck, and will be killed on sight the moment they are seen. They are feared by many tribes, even to the other Destructive Gods, and one will know and may never live to tell the tale... "A Deathrunner's belly... is never full..."

On the legendary Skull Island their was but one creture that can humble even the deadly Venatosaurs in their way of hunting. and that was the Deathrunners given their name due to the fact that the natives their say that they are death incarnate that runs on 2 legs. These large, hell spawned creatures were superb predators that could prey on animals 10 to 20 times their own size even bold enough to take down a family of V Rexes (If their king wishes this). Highly intelligent and social they lived in huge groups lead by their monsterous king.

Deathrunners are frighteningly large, fast, and intelligent.  They will attack nearly anything that moves, even each other if given the chance.  They will also kill for pleasure, hinting a sadistic nature.  They are often referred to as the Slaves of Chaos because of their twisted behavior.

1994 - After the showdown in the barn with the army, Dr. Amy Franklin uses state of the art cybernetic technology to bring the deceased Kong back to life. Unbeknownst to her however is that her partner Dr. Sawamura is actually Kong's old nemesis Dr. Hustu. Since the end of the Cold War Dr. Hustu has become a "free agent," manufacturing and selling chemical and biological weapons to the highest bidder. However, now he has a bigger plan in mind.

The disguised Hustu maintains his cooperative ruse all the while using the facilities genetic samples to engage in secret cloning research. He intends continue the work of Project Donnerdrache, and create an army of mind controlled monsters which he can sell to the highest bidder. However, while searching through the preserved samples of Skull Island's larger predators, he comes across something he did not expect... genetic samples of the island's former chief deity, the dreaded Gaw...

Turns out Dr. Hustu is the grandson of Bar-Atu, the last high priest of Gaw. As Bar-Atu allowed the worship of Gaw to be supplanted by the Kong, his son Kobal voluntarily left the island in disgust. Many thought Kobal perished at sea, but he survived to reach mainland Japan and had a son of his own, a son who was a scientific genius at a young age, and who's father filled his head with wondrous and dangerous tales of the great God Gaw... Dr. Hustu now understands his past failures to destroy the hated Kong, as he is but a mortal in the battle between Gods. He failed for a reason, so that he would come into such a position to bring the feared Gaw back to life, and help him conquer the world...

Dr. Hustu steals the samples, burns down the lab, and short circuit's the main computer, thereby pumping Kong full of stimulants. Kong goes on a drug induced rampage through the city and escapes into the wilderness. Dr. Franklin goes searching for Kong while simultaneously trying to convince the United States army not to obliterate him on sight.

Jyarumu

Portrayed by Sean Kanan

Wandering the wastes at the bottom of the world is a ferocious predator that takes the biting cold in stride: Jyarumu. A 163.63 meters tall at the shoulder, this massive apex predator is, based on current knowledge, Siberia's largest native predator known until now.

Jyarumu is a Kaiju frozen for many years in the Siberian permafrost near the Arctic Ocean. The slumbering Jyarumu was finally awakened after its icy tomb began to melt as a result of global warming, allowing it to break through the sheets of freezing earth and once again wreak havoc upon the world. Savage and belligerent, Jyarumu is violent, ruthless, and cruel. It has a warlike disposition, refusing to give up a fight with an opponent until either its foe is vanquished or it dies on the battlefield. Its body is composed entirely of muscle, making it a super-monster of strength, and it has an incredible fighting spirit - when angered or excited, the thin vein- like markings on its body pulse red. Jyarumu's primary offensive weapon is the large horn on its head, which it uses to slash and pierce its foes. It can also use its deceptively powerful tail to pummel its opponents, and spit a deadly purple toxic gas from its maw. Jyarumu can jump extraordinarily high and glide at mach speeds utilizing the two wings on its forearms. These wings can also be used as blade-like secondary weapons. It is a master of melee combat both on the ground and in the air, able to rise into the sky and dive at fast speeds, crushing its foes with its bulk and skewering them with its deadly horn.

Considering Siberia at this time was in the middle of a glaciation event that would go on to smother the entire landmass under miles of ice, these waifs needed to quickly adapt to survive the impending ice age. Their bodies grew larger and more compact, their armor and body fat thickened, and they develop a countercurrent heat exchange system in their shrinking wings, all in the name of retaining enough body heat to keep them alive but in the process reducing their flight capabilities. By the time the ice had enveloped the entire continent, the once roughly man-sized hypothetical ancestor that soared through jungles was now a building-sized top-order carnivore patrolling the frozen landmass on foot. The wings they sport now serve only for intimidation and the most short-lived of gliding attempts, a relic of their days as powered fliers. This is not the only physical trait Jyarumu has retained in some form from its cousins and ancestors. Like Leafwings, she possesses a long, papillae-covered tongue and heat-sensing pits that detect the differences in thermal contrast. More vestigial than this is an anesthetic component and an anti-coagulant to the Jyarumu's saliva, which in the Leafwing is instead a very powerful venom that is used in defensive purposes. All of these traits combined come together to paint a picture of a blood-eating, or sanguivorous, organism. The heat-sensing pits would have been used much like a vampire bat as they find prey and pinpoint the blood vessel closest to the surface, and the anticoagulant and anesthetic would have kept the blood flowing as the creature laps it up with its papillae-covered tongue. However, neither Jyarumu and Leafwings feast on blood (unless for Jyarumu, you could the blood of its fallen prey), which suggests that these adaptations have been retooled from their common ancestor, who would have been a sanguivorous flier. This common ancestor likely patrolled the jungles for large megafauna to exploit and might have been quite common across the Isles. But after millions of years of environmental change, some of its descendants would diverge and take on different evolutionary paths. For the Leafwings, they have repurposed their traits to seek out endothermic flowering plants in bloom and sip up their succulent nectar, the anti-coagulant and anesthetic in their saliva becoming the powerful venom they possess today. For Jyarumu, they needed to resort to true carnivory when they found themselves in a radical and changing environment lacking many large animals.

The actual processing of this flesh takes place further back in the jaws, with the scissor rows of serrated teeth that slice through flesh like a guillotine. Despite their formidable nature, the teeth are ill-suited to process hard food such as bones and armor, as their blade-like shape is rather inefficient when it comes to punching through such hard objects. This limits the prey items Jyarumu normally hunt to small, unarmored kaiju that can be easily torn apart by the jaws or swallowed whole. The hands further support this idea, as they each possess a large sickle claw, not unlike those of various birds of prey and dromaeosaurs. In both those groups, sickle claws are often used to pin down and crush smaller prey in their grip in a technique known as Raptor Prey Restraint. While Jyarumu has quite a different body plan to these dinosaurs and birds, the same general technique is likely employed. Speaking of the feet, the digits of this titan are laden with stress fractures and sites of localized microbial infection, but don't these don't seem to cause much of a hindrance to the titan. The microbes themselves originate from rotting carcasses, suggesting that Jyarumu might have been regularly walking in the food that it eats. Based on all of these pre-established traits, it is inferred Jyarumu's species are proficient predatory kleptoparasites that processed large meaty carcasses, often meaning it was feet-deep in rotting flesh hence the lingering infections. This is not too outlandish, as their gigantotherm metabolism means they can scavenge quite regularly if they need to due to decreased energetic demands compared to other daikaiju and their large size would allow them to bully smaller predators such as how she did with Baragon. They might even wait for other scavengers better suited to breaking through the armored covering of deceased large predators to arrive, waiting until the fleshy body cavity is revealed. They can do this in a variety of ways, such as using their jaws and claws to swipe and nip at competitors until they finally leave. But Jyarumu employs a more efficient scavenger deterrent inside its body. Stored within the thoracic and throat regions, Jyarumu possesses various sacs filled with ice nucleation proteins that when released from the mouth and into the air, forming a large, subzero cloud that can cause severe frostbite to expose flesh and quickly robs the heat from other organism's bodies. While the beam can be used to ward off attackers or disable prey, its primary use is to drive off other scavengers with a sudden blast of frost. To the other gigantotherm daikaiju of the Antarctic depths, heat is everything, so this disabling frost attack is usually only ever used once on a rival scavenger before they retreat so that they can recuperate their heat energy.

While the frost breath is quite effective, it is often rarely used in combat as Jyarumu prefers battling her opponents with physical strength and skill. The jaws and claws are already rather formidable weaponry, but Jyrarumu takes physical weaponry and defense a step further than these basic criteria. There is a reason she's called the Bladed Beast of Frost. The first wing finger of Jyarumu has grown considerably thick and robust, an adaptation for the enlarged denticles that sprout out from their surface. Once meant to streamline Jyarumu's ancestors through the air as they flew, they now serve as deadly serrated blades that cleave through enemies and prey. Being exposed to the elements and constant battling with competitors, these derived placoid scales grow dull over a few months before finally being shed and subsequently replaced by a newly sharpened replacement blade that has been pushing out the duller tooth. But by far the most prominent physical weapon Jyarumu possesses is the bladed horn adorning the top of its head. This magnificent weapon is lined in a sharp edge nearly as sharp as obsidian but far more durable and thus is capable of slicing through the skin and flesh of rival titans with great ease. Jyarumu is incredibly tactical with this head-oriented weapon, using it almost like a lance to precisely stab and slice with great elegance and skill and can be used in deadly upward strikes due to the large muscle attachments in the neck and shoulders. Of course, such a weapon has its weaknesses, for it is unable to cut through the armored exterior of some daikaiju. Additionally, with enough use and exposure to the elements, the blade can begin to dull, making it less efficient. But Jyarumu has an almost elegant solution to this. Almost immediately upon being exposed to the air, the horn begins exuding out a waxy substance that hardens when exposed to the cold. Within less than half an hour, Jyarumu's exposed horn becomes sheathed in thick layers of hardened wax, protecting the cutting edge from the elements while also self-sharpening it. When Jyarumu ever needs to bust it out, she releases a burst of cryogenic vapor from her jaws that encompasses her head in a cloud of frost. The sudden drop in temperature causes the wax to further harden until it is brittle enough to be scrapped off and reveal the deadly weapon underneath, ready to carve through whatever it was able to pierce.

Ramarak

The most infamous of Skull Island's Scourges is, of course, Ramarak. The dreaded leader of the Skullcrawlers and his brood are well-known for devouring entire populations of animals, though the skull devil's motivation is actually not as self-serving as most believe...

The Skullcrawlers are constantly ravenous, and are only concerned with satiating their agonising hunger. In a way, they are oddly pitiable, though since some individuals take sadistic pleasure in attacking and killing other creatures they aren’t entirely sympathetic. Ramarak is almost an entirely different beast. Though still in a state of constant starvation, it appears that the effects of hypervory are lesser for alpha skullcrawlers than they are for stooge skullcrawlers, and so he has other things on his mind. Ramarak wishes for his species continued survival and comfort, desiring only to help his fellows in living good lives, and sees the other gods of Skull Island as a threat to that. This has become Ramarak's primary motive in life, to the point where his violent actions in the name of it have led to him being referred to as a "Skullcrawler extremist". Though his interests are primarily in ensuring his species has a good life, he has been known to take sadistic pleasure in tormenting certain Kaiju (particularly Kong), though some believe this may stem from Ramarak attempting to gain some sort of catharsis for towards what he views as misdeeds towards his species.

Everyone on Skull Island either fears or hates the Skullcrawlers, as they all know that if they were ever to come out in large numbers then they would all be screwed. The Kaiju with the most hate for these marauding mosasauroids is Kong due to their exacerbation of the Primal Rage, though some believe that he is projecting his own anger and guilt on them to gain some form of catharsis.  Humanity agrees with the Skull Island Kaiju in that the Skullcrawlers are a threat to be eliminated. Though some organisations (SCALE being the most obvious and prominent of them) argue that the rampant reptiles have a right to live, and MONARCH acknowledges that the threat they pose is not entirely their fault, the Skullcrawlers' hypervory means that they are a severe threat to Skull Island, and if they devour everything there they may spread out to the rest of the world. The Iwi fear the Skullcrawlers more than anything else on Skull Island: in their mythology, they play the role of the psychopomp, being known as the "servants of death" due in large part to the fact that only a handful of humans have ever survived an encounter with a Skullcrawler (the only exceptions are the MONARCH expeditions and the most skilled of the Iwi huntsmen). Ramarak himself is viewed as the god of death. Due to this, they are the primary reason why the tribesmen are mostly silent. 

Even before the bizarre meteor showers that took out a number of Monarch survey stations it had became apparent that the Skullcrawler population had come under attack from an unknown source. With no communication from the operatives and scientists stationed nearby, Monarch launched an investigation and found strange tracks made by machine and another set by made an odd bird like creature. The intruders that had made these tracks had not just gone and killed any Skullcrawlers in their way but also laid waste to the very small Kumonga and Kamacuras population that inhabited the East of the Island. The Skullcrawlers, usually an aggressive and viscous species notably responsible for killing off the Great Apes of Skull Island, had since become more cautious and Emma Russell had suggested that it was not from the King of Skull Island but these intruders that had lead the creatures to act far more timidly. Radiation left on the carcasses of the animals was found to be that same as that coming from the moon. The crush injuries and clean slices that plagued the corpses become unnerving evidence that a titan or a Kaiju was not killing these creatures for food or territorial disputes. Said culprits were killing these creatures with either a purpose or for fun. Emma Russell’s team went on to inspect King Kong and his residence however found it untouched even though the two killer creatures had clearly visited the Ape King. King Kong himself showed no unusual behaviours and the two creatures that had visited him had since left without a trace.

Baragon

Of all the places on Earth, Skull Island seems to be the worst possible place for humanity to end up. This land of chaos and utter carnage is ruled by the most terrifying creatures Earth has ever wrought and would therefore wipe out any trace of humanity's existence on its surface within days of settlement. But the Skull Islands have been colonized by humanity at least twice, first with the ancient Paleolithic civilization known as Tagu and a second millennium later with the ancestors of the Atu, whose descendants are the Iwi and Kawa; all these tribes continue to this day. While the Tagu are fairly advanced societies that could probably defend their empire well enough from the horrors that lurked on the island, the Atu live a simple hunter-gatherer life, with hardly any weapons in their possession capable of warding off even predators. low level. The only reason why the Atus did not have to be wiped out from the island's surface is due to the intervention of some Kaiju who were worshiped as gods. The most prominent of these is Kong, whose mountain looms over Atu's village like the central outpost of a guardian deity, watching the Island for any sign of a threat to his home and his reign. But the titanic primate is not the only defender of the Atu, and in fact is considered one of the four monsters the Atu consider benevolent. Kong himself is considered "The Overseer", watching the lands and skies for threats to his home. The other three overlords are in charge of some other environmental region of the Skull Isles. There is "The Flooder", a beast of the waterways that protects the island against all aquatic threats. However, more relevant to this part of the story are the other two Titans, known as "The Guardians". It is their duty to rule over the underworld of the Island where they drive back the hordes of terrifying subterranean fauna, especially the voracious Skull Crawlers. His handiwork could be seen all over the Island in the form of winding tunnels below the surface and the great chasms and craters left in various geological features as if an extremely hot and powerful force cut through solid stone like paper. These two armored borrowers, along with the beast of the waterways and Kong, are considered the guardians of Atu (although Kong seems to have a larger presence in Atu culture) and have established territories over which they rule, just like everyone else. But while most of these forces of nature are content to live out their lives on this unique landmass, it seems one of the Guardians isn't comfortable doing the same. He has made forays far beyond the island limits before and has been seen on rare occasions on other human-inhabited landmasses. Outsiders know him by many epithets, but the Atu knows his true name. A prehistoric dinocephalian species, BARAGON belonged to a diverse group of clad, capable of many things, like one can form a protective frill around its neck to shield its head, and another can gather electricity and can turn invisible to the naked eye, but they are all known for what's best, digging. Like Rodan, the Baragon have a bio-volcanic physiology. They live underground, where they feed off of geothermal energy. They uses their large paws and red hot horn to burrow through the earth. Due to their high internal body temperature, they can breathe fire. Baragon are mostly docile, only attacking if provoked. Along with their gentle nature, many people find Baragon appealing due to their cute features. The species that he belongs are ambush predators, lurking below under the Earth, waiting to pounce at any unsuspecting prey, but they are also good parents and will defend their turf with any means necessary. Baragon is one of the earliest monsters that burst from the grounds of the earth.

In old legends, there were the Yamato Guardians, three benevolent Kaiju who protected Japan in ancient times. With special affinity for the terrestrial crust we walk upon, Baragon is physically one of the smallest Kaiju on record, but his connection to the rocks and magma beneath us empower him to achieve greatness on a par with his larger allies.  His small size makes him a tremendous leaper, with graceful aerial combat maneuvers and techniques. When not in the air, Baragon constantly replenishes his energy so long as contact is maintained with the earth. Baragon emits streams of fire from his mouth, and can cause eruptions and earthquakes beneath his feet.  When firmly planted with all four legs upon the ground, Baragon is almost impossible to push, despite his small stature.

1971: After being questioned by Monarch agents, American soldier Frank Wilson was being escorted to a different room when suddenly, rumble vibrations started to occur. Turns out to be caused by yet another monster, Baragon, wrecking havoc around the facility. Fortunetly, Monarch managed to subdue him and contained him along with Kamacuras, but for how long?

Baragon is a biolithic kaiju superbly adapted for a fossorial existence. His hide incorporates various strands of metamorphic and volcanic elements, making him extremely durable and heat-resistant. He is coated in a series of interlocking scales which may be derived from hair-like structures, similar to a pangolin, which allow for a greater degree of flexibility. They are also easily shed and replaced by new growths.

Baragon makes his way through solid stone and bedrock with the aid of his immensely powerful foreclaws and horn-like protrusion on his head. These are also wielded as effective weapons during fights with other kaiju, especially while charging. One of his only softer parts, his ears, seem to play a role in thermoregulation, and are normally folded tightly upon his face beneath his horn for protection. This does not impair his senses, as his eyesight is poor. Instead, he relies on heat-sensing pits along his snout as well as a form of echolocation generated from the horn, which may be akin to a cetacean’s melon. By sending infrasonic pulses through the ground, as well as passively detecting vibrations, Baragon is able to pinpoint targets and locations from many kilometers away.

Baragon is also able to generate large amounts of heat when agitated, and can transfer this heat across his body. This can manifest as a full-body aura of intense heat, which can be used to shake off and immolate smaller opponents and can be maintained for several minutes. A more precise variant of this ability channels the heat specifically into his claws and horn to inflict more damage to larger enemies. He also generates lava-like bile within his body, which burns with napalm-like intensity when vomited forth.

King Kong

Background: Apex's search for the Isle of the Skull was a long and arduous one, analyzing folk tales, myths, and survivor accounts spanning continents and oceans. As expected from looking at such widely different sources separated by distance and time, there were many inconsistencies between the supposed accounts of the island, such as its location. But there was one thread most of them had in common: The so-called lord of this Nightmare Realm. South Pacific legends speak of it as "The King of the South Seas", a true force of nature that even the most vicious of demons cower in fear of. Denham's notes give a bit more clarity on the appearance of this giant, as it was the same beast that supposedly saved what remained of his crew from the man-eating armored saurians. He described it as a titanic ape-like creature, its body covered in skeletal-like armor and a thick covering of fur. While he did not christen the creature with any specific name, he did usually described it in his notes as "The Eighth Wonder of the World", a living god unparalleled in his strength and ferocity by all the beasts of the Earth or so he says anyway. More information would be gleaned from this mysterious entity after the discovery of the Cosmic Mountains in 1961, ruled over by its own pantheon of beasts worshipped by humans known as the Ailenas. The Ailenas speak of the Skull Isles in their myths, though referred to them by its more ancient name of Kaito, a land in constant flux and turmoil and inhabited by the most terrifying creations of nature. Under normal circumstances, such a pantheon would have crumbled long ago from the sheer destruction such an ecological nightmare could inflict upon the island and its inhabitants. But fortunately for both the island and the rest of the world, there is an entity that ensures such a disaster does not come to be. To the Ailenas he is known as the Mountain that Thunders Death, the ruler of the Nightmare Realm. Considered a creature equal in power to the King himself, this thundering behemoth ensures the numerous monstrosities that dwell upon the Isles are kept in check, thereby bringing some semblance of serenity to the living horror show that is Kaito. But as the war of the monster raged on, things grew more and more desperate for him and his kind, as the giant apes battled the great saurians, beasts they have been locked in a perpetual ancient rivalry dozens of millions of years in the making.As the war drew to a close, a great cataclysm hit Kaito, dismantling the last stronghold of the Southern Empire and crippled the numbers of the island's gods, including the brethren of its thundering ruler. Not much else is known by the Ailenas regarding what has happened on the Isles since then, its remote location and their mainly isolationist mentality preventing much travel beyond their region's borders. But what is certain is that even after all these years, even after the titanic catastrophe of Kaito, the king of the Isles continues to reign with a mighty fist, sworn the solemn duty of protecting his home from any and all threats, even if it comes at the cost of his own life...

A giant gorilla-like ape (to which his species is related) that lives in the Atlantic Ocean, on a populated island called Skull Islland (located between South America and Africa and this island being a gateway to the Hollow Earth). A haven for the megafauna of Earth's past, large or small, thriving undetected by human contact, prehistoric beasts dominate the landscape, the island is kept in check. by their guardian gods, some who are virtuous and others who are destructive, but one god stood above the rest, ruling the island, none other than... King Kong

Considered by the natives as their protective king, it is the dominant life form on the island. Leading the Virtuous Gods, consisting of himself, along with Ajabront, Angror the Invincinator, Baragon, Jyarumu, Chondar, Behemoth, Kinadga, Hyupran, and Nyokembo (among others), keeping the nature of things at peace. Later, he would be seen in the ring with another kaiju... What is a King before a God?

Though not quite as legendary as Godzilla, it is impressive that King Kong has managed to eke out such a reputation for himself at a relatively young age. The giant ape has spent almost his entire life on Skull Island, and has guarded the isle for many, many decades. 

Among the most intelligent of the Kaiju, Kong will fashion armor and weapons from fallen foes. Kong's primary weapon is a massive sword created from the skull of an as yet undiscovered kaiju species. Kong rules over the remote skull island and defends his home ferociously. In combat Kong is know to strategize and use the environment to his advantage.  

King Kong is, understandably, still very much haunted by his past. He holds a lot of angst and sorrow within him even now, but it's of course justified: not only did Kong witness his parents literally being torn apart limb from limb, but, according to the Iwi, he had to look all over the island for the pieces of his parents to bury them in the Boneyard. Due to this inner anger and frustration, Kong prefers to be alone, though still has a few close friends including Gorosaurus. That said, Kong is far from just a rage-fuelled warrior: his intelligence has made him one of the most complex and, in a way, astounding of all Kaiju. He has a great appreciation for natural beauty, and is known to stop his near-constant patrols at night to witness the Aurora Australis. Indeed, Kong is greatly altruistic, having given up his life and any form of indulgence to be Skull Island's king. He will even help outsiders so long as they are no threat. However, it should always be remembered that if you harm Skull Island you will incur the wrath of its king.
