I’m sorry, I haven’t really been active on here because when I started this blog, it was to help me find love of my own body, and to help me to become more comfortable with the images of myself that future lovers, present lovers, and past lovers have partaken of while bringing me to pleasure.
An attempt to find beauty in an action I performed only to serve others, while the submission and loss of control was enough to please me. Back then I wanted strangers on the internet to tell me that I was pretty because I needed validation, and didn’t have anyone nearby to do so.
It seems hard to come back to now... my body has grown and changed so much since I started this blog, as has my mind, and as have my relationships.
There is one who loves me, loves my body, and worships it as often as they are able. They tell me the things that I need to hear, and they give me hope for what our future will become. But more than that, he nourishes my spirit, and my mind, and my heart.
The honest truth is that I no longer need this blog in the same way that I used to, and have been struggling with what to do with it. TBH, This blog may be deactivated, or at the very least archived. I have grown past this blog, as I have grown past much of my past.
I need y'all to help me make sure that the following post is coherent, and not starkers, mmk? Gonna put most of it below a cut 'cause it's political as FUCK.
I have recently been thinking about what it means to be a Patriot. Someone who loves what their country stands for, and is willing to fight for its betterment. Someone who believes that their country can do great things, with the proper leaders in place. Someone who wants to leave this country better than we found it, so that our children and nieces and nephews can live in happiness, with food in their bellies and a roof over their head.
But… isn’t that all of us? Every single American in this country wants a better life for them, for their children, for their families. They want to know that they are not destroying their body working so many hours on a minimum wage that hasn’t changed at the federal level in FIFTEEN YEARS. While the inflation rate over the last 15 years just seems to go up and up and up. And we have responded by working longer hours, breaking our bodies doing jobs we shouldn’t do, by sacrificing our mental health for the “Grind” mentality?
Aren’t y’all tired?
I’m tired. I have a genetic connective tissue disorder called Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Along with it, it’s brought such friends as Autism and ADHD, and my personal least favourite POTS. (Positional Orthostatic Tachycardic Syndrome [Spell check free babyyyy])
I am not visibly disabled, but it doesn’t take long to know something’s wrong with me, and I shouldn’t be working the way that I have to in order to survive in this economy.
There are so many people like me out there that have invisible illnesses, or hard to see handicaps. And each and every one of us is terrified. Because when Hitler took over Germany, he began to categorize people. To track their travel, to differentiate them from other humans who looked differently (sometimes) from them. Hitler began to use rhetoric that made these people out to be less than human. Made them out to be rats, “Vermin,” as they would say. Which sounds incredibly familiar when compared with comments from our recently elected president and his First Lady Elon Musk.
When Hitler began his human experimentation, when he first began to seek a way to eliminate those he saw as inferior, and create room for German expansion- He started with the disabled community. People who had no way of defending themselves against him, and in some cases, people who were not cognizant enough to realize what was happening to them even as they suffocated in the back of a truck. And the people of Germany stood aside, and let it happen because their economy was booming, and they were beginning to feel like a real nation again.
Present day Germans still deal with that Shame.
When the War ended, we took up the Mantle of Never Again, and our grandfathers and great grandfathers shouted it out on the anniversary of D-Day. Our grandmothers and great grandmothers shouting it along with them. We continued to teach the philosophy of Never Again in our schools when the WWII units were taken, and we have museums across the world that echo the chant; NEVER AGAIN, never, never, never again.
Where has that passion for the defense of minorities gone? Where has that passion for the ideals of Freedom, and the Human Rights outlined in one of our FOUNDING documents? Our leaders once believed that Facism was wrong. Many of our most popular movie characters TO THIS DAY punch Nazis. (Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Oppenheimer didn’t exactly punch Nazis, but you get the point.) Some of our most famous actors in our film history had relatives that were lost to the holocaust, or to the war. And our people BELIEVED in what those men fought for.
It is time to believe again. There are documented instances of the current policies that are being put into effect matching up to policies that Hitler and Mussolini put into place when they began their own fascist dictatorships.
Let’s play a game. I’ve got some information, and we’re going to see if you can tell me WHO the information is about.

Our government no longer represents the people of this country, but the corporations and greed of the men who would claim power over the weak. Our government has been bought out from under us by men who would see us falter, men who would see our independence fail. Men who would go against everything the founding fathers dreamed of for our nation when they put their blood, sweat, and tears into building it. We are Americans. We are Patriots.
It’s time we act like it.

This is the oath that our Senate representatives take upon entering office. They swear to the God they claim to serve that they will serve the people he has created. They swear to protect the country from enemies both foreign and domestic. But they have spent so long in systematic racism and false wars that they can no longer identify the Domestic Threat. But the people can. The people have.
And we the people demand the control of the government that was put in place to serve OUR interests. It is our right granted by the sacrifices of our forefathers, and it is our right granted by the continual sacrifices of our armed forces today.

Not everything after the ? those parameters also contain the playlist and starting timestamp for example, so you might want to keep those. As the post above says, delete the "si=..." up to the next & or the end of the url, whichever is first
This isn't just youtube btw. Anything after ? in a url is additional info that's passed to the web site and can be anything from the page number of a large collection to tracking data.
Sometimes the key name is obvious, like sort=ascending, or page=4. Often though, especially if the programmers don't want it to be obvious that it's for advertising or identification purposes, they'll call it by a single letter or abbreviation. Generally any value that's a long jumble of text/numbers is used for tracking purposes because it needs to be unique. It can (and should!) be deleted when sharing links.
Also, if you are copying and pasting a tumblr link and can take the time to delete the ?source=share from the end, please do, as it seems to make the link behave much better and avoid some of that "open in app" or "behaving like you aren't logged in" nonsense.
