Hulkling hauls the harvest

I’ve recently become obsessed with container gardening. my harvests have been rather small, but...they look more impressive when hauled by Hulkling?

not a tempest in a teapot but the god of thunder in a thimble looking rather petty and tiny! (could someone please put Storm in a teacup and Hela in a handbasket? :D)

(the thimble is a Dorcas thimble from between 1905 and 1947.)

(Thor’s thimble is a sterling silver one made by Henry Griffith and Sons in 1926. Tony’s is unmarked, so I don’t know anything about it. I’m guessing it’s made of brass.)

(several months ago I started looking for a vintage or antique thimble that I could use. the older ones came in more sizes and were well-made. somehow I ended up collecting thimbles...)

Verity pants?

somehow I ended up with pants that are about the same color as the ones Verity was wearing here:

I hadn’t even planned for this to happen! the fabric (Essex linen/cotton in the Pickle color) was on clearance, and I like this blend for sewing these pants. (they’re Arenite Pants with some modifications for higher, closer-fitting pockets and a slimmer fit.) since the color is called Pickle, I used this fabric for the pocket lining:

those might be pickles in my pocket (or they might be non-pickled cucumbers), and they’re just happy. ;P

t-shirt remake

this started out as a men’s 2XL t-shirt. I cut and resewed it using the Lark Tee pattern with a few tweaks. really happy with how it turned out! I much prefer a close fit at the shoulders/sleeves.

shawl of Agamotto

I recently finished an Eyeball Shawl. it makes me think of the Illuminati more than the Eye of Agamotto, but I just wanted to call it the shawl of Agamotto anyway. I hope Agamotto doesn’t mind.

it’s no Cloak of Levitation, but it tries.

(also I think Hawkeye would like to shoot at it.)

Oracle shawl

I was attracted to the design of this pattern, but it was the name that compelled me. of course I know what Loki would say about oracles, but...the needles knit as they must and cannot be silent. ;D

not a furtress of solitude

I found a faux fur cowl-thing on clearance at Walmart for $3 and bought it because it made me think of the fur on AoA Loki's and story Loki's coats. (knitted AoA Loki still doesn't have a coat and has major fur envy right now.) it's a bit of an awkward shape for me to wear as it is, so I will probably cut the seam and resew it or use it as fabric. it seems thicker and nicer than the faux fur fabric I've seen at the fabric store--I think it could work well for a cosplay coat!

Namor in knitwear

(I wanted to learn two-color brioche, so I made a mini shawl, then put it on Namor. the colors and design make me think of some kind of sea creature, so maybe he...doesn’t hate it?)
