What kills me about Yuna's leaving the house during their talk with Shane and Ilya is that it's not about Shane being gay or about him being with Ilya fucking Rozanov. It's that her son just told her that he's in love. That there's only one person he's ever been in love with and this is him. That's what makes her need to walk outside and stare into the woods for awhile, that her baby boy has found this hugely important person that she wondered if he would ever find, that he never told her any of it. She has to get up to get a drink when they tell her that they've been hooking up since their rookie season, that it's been years at this point. What a thing that she had no idea about! That Shane hid all of this from them, from her, for so many years! And then she's hit with that Shane is in love, that this is serious, and he felt he couldn't share any of it with her, something that he should be open and free about! She's realizing the gulf between herself and her precious child, who she's tried so hard to help, but there's this huge distance between them if he couldn't even tell her that he loves someone. When she has to step outside, it's not because she can't take that Shane is gay or that he's dating his archrival/the guy they friendly "hated", but specifically because he couldn't tell her any of it. That's why she's so sorry that she made him feel he couldn't tell her and she really doesn't care much about anything else once she realizes the seriousness of it. Everything else is unimportant next to that her son was serious about this in a way that's usually reserved only for hockey, and he had to hide it from her. That's when she has to take a minute to breathe, not with any of the other revelations she's been hit with.

Nothing prepares you for how ugly a cybertruck is in real life. I've seen seven of them now, I'm still never prepared for how fuckawful this thing looks. "Why is there a moving over-engineered trash bin on the ro-- oh my god." Every single time. I'm not even being a hater, the thing is genuinely ugly, it looks like a seventh grade intro to engineering class project that got maybe a C+. There are no sleek lines, there's nothing but dull gray metal, it's not even that intimidatingly large. It looks like it was made out of scrap pieces welded together. It can sort of appear decent in pictures, somehow. But in real life, I am never prepared for how fucking ugly or dinky it actually is.
