Genius idea.

After the war with the Witness and the Guardians, one ghost got curious and wanted to find a wolf. The ghost had an instinct to find him and he did.

This wolf named Forrest, ended up being perhaps one of the first guardians born an entirely different species in eons.

While limited on land, Forrest does have a capabilities to understand languages and travels to help others when he can.

Now with newfound power, Forrest learns how to use them and seemingly is able to use them similarly as other Guardians. Forrest seems to prefer Arc as his main element.

Forrest has no class since he is a wolf and isn’t exactly able to use weapons other than a knife. But the abilities seem to mix between Titans and Warlocks as he could form energy around his body and even form claws to strike harder. :Dc

For the ghost, it’s just a basic shell with a male voice. It has a curious but more of a caution. While the wolf takes and makes decisions, it does guide him and help him read. It also speaks for him as well.

This wolf is like SMART as a human. He can’t speak but he sure can express his opinions in a different manner! He is expressive wolf.

Forrest!! And his lil light, Blue. Forrest is already simple and could have called her “Blueberry” but she insists that “Blue” will suffice.

Forrest is a Guardian who is on his journey to his own destiny, perhaps with no goal in mind but he does seek out a second chance with his new powers he gained. Over the course of the journey, he learned a quite a few things, even a few tricks along the way. He meets an African wild dog that’s out of place, Faramir. He then decides to help him out a bit and get him home. But his destiny calls for them both.

Since this is based on the game, Destiny, and it is inspired by it, I thought to just do a wolf style for the guardian instead of a simple guardian design, which is either a human or an awoken. So, a wolf like him is fitting for the idea! I’m a big fan of Destiny but since I heard the news, I kinda wanna keep it alive in a way for me. So, a wolf with a ghost was something I thought randomly while sketching out some ideas for Forrest. This ghost shell is my absolute favorite, and with my favorite blue color on it. (I had only one in game and I made sure it’s lock so I don’t accidentally delete it. 🤣 )

One without the armor. So the pattern can show still. The armor is basically optional but is preferred since it provides a purpose for him!

Forrest mains the ARC and sometimes can use other two energy that is available. He does prefer ARC as it can cause electricity to scatter and spark around him. He can bite and force massive amounts of electricity through him and to another. Like a titan, he can jump high and then, land to create a shockwave around him. He can slam into his opponents if needed. Like a warlock, he can force the energy into the ground and create a shockwave around him and run around with electricity hit everything. He has practice this quite often and has learned from watching other guardians. So, he is mostly self-taught.

Anyways, the concept of this idea of giving a guardian powers and a cool ghost to a wolf is probably the first “original” idea? Who knows??I would like to know if there is anyone else out there that had the same idea or concept of this. Although I don’t own the Destiny stuff here, obviously. I am a bit curious tho!

I made these brushes for CSP a while back, and I've used them a LOT, but I've decided to share the files on my ko-fi. :-)

A while back, I worked at a comic book store five days a week, so I had access to a lot of old Marvel and DC comics. I made these brushes from scanning the comics directly. My brush set has all 64 colors which were possible to print on newspaper at the time.

The names of the brushes are the same names that a colorist would use if they worked for Marvel or DC back in the day. For example, R is 100% red, Y2 is 25% yellow, Y3 B is 50% yellow and 100% blue.

For a long time I told myself I wouldn't share them because I thought I could find more work as a colorist if I had my own tools. Well, I still haven't found much work as a colorist, and I thought it would be nicer to share with other artists.

It's $20 or pay what you want for a zip folder with 64 brushes. Yippee!

reminder to visit museums, even if you feel out of place. you feel out of place because there is an established concept of inaccessibility of "high culture" to the masses, purposefully developed to distinguish between social classes.

take up space, read the plaques, get the audioguides. you are just as entitled and right in being there. visit museums, boycott museums, be expressive about your opinions about museums.

a lot of museums are free, or discounted for youth and students. take advantage of that. check your local art museum. check your local history museum. museums are there for you, they are there to educate the public, not to distinguish between class. it isn't a private collection, it's a public exhibit.
