Confrontation | Regina and Snow

Mary Margaret had barely been able to function properly since the curse broke. There were too many questions milling around her mind, too many answers that she needed - but didn’t want to - know. Somehow she managed to get to work but every time Henry so much as moved she wanted to ask him all the questions she could think of. He insisted he had all the answers before, and he had been right after all. But this was different. This was personal.
She slowly approached the Mayor’s mansion, nerves almost taking over completely. She knew she needed to do this - definitely. Mary Margaret slowly stepped up to the door and knocked lightly, holding her breath. You can do this. Just be civil.
Regina was still recovering from the ordeal of the labour and delivery of the twins, but she was up and moving around the house now at least. The kids were good with helping with things around the house, chores, meal preparation, grabbing things for their siblings. She’d honestly expected some jealousy or maybe feelings of neglect, but there had been none of that so far. Adaline and Henry were helpful, sadly, neither of them, or anyone else was home so Regina was left to deal with both babies on her own.
Little David was easy, after nursing he’d dozed off in the bassinet in the kitchen while she tried to do some organizing and meal preparation. Victoria was a different story, after nursing, she’d decided she didn’t want to sleep or watch the mobile. Regina had settled for setting the fussy little princess in her carrier on the island and she’d been a happy observer since then... At least until a knock at the door drew her attention and she started fussing again.
Freeing the baby from her carrier and cradling her against her chest, she headed for the door and opened it trying to hide her shock at who she found waiting behind it on her porch. She put up her walls and turned on her “Evil Queen” façade. “David isn’t here at the moment dear. You might try at the station,” she offered coldly. The only reason Snow could possibly be here was to see David, which she didn’t appreciate...or Henry since she was still one of his grandmothers biologically speaking.
