a rough timeline of events (from memory, there may be inaccuracies, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
Cambridge professor of sociology Jason Arday is accused of plagiarism by another academic
the accuser is a "race realist" who believes that in a true meritocracy all university professors would be white. this is somehow not acknowledged much during the entire ordeal
this leads to several days of media coverage demanding an investigation, or that Arday is expelled from his post immediately
somehow this accusation that has no effect on the lives of 99.99% of the population becomes FRONT PAGE NEWS in all the newspapers for multiple days, above anything else happening in the UK or the world at large
following intense media scrutiny, Arday resigns his post as a Cambridge professor
today, august 14th, days after resigning, Arday is found dead at his home in Battersea
the British tabloid press remains, and will always be, fucking evil
you need to understand that i have two sets of headcanons. there's the set of realistic headcanons based on my genuine reading of the show, and then there's me playing pretend with my dolls.
”Black hair is too hard to draw!” Is crazy work because Locs and Afros are so easy to draw it’s actually impressive. High key easier than a lot of straight hairstyles. I mean maybe I’m bias because I have a really cutesy/cartoony art style but locs are just a bunch of tubes, thick braids are the same with some little bumps, and Afros are just clouds/bubbles all grouped together. Hell even curls are super easy just add a little loopy in between the bumps BOOM it’s curly (maybe this won’t make sense to ppl that don’t draw either)
so like everytime I wanna look masculine or be called a guy or boy or something like that I always put on the most masculine clothing I have, I don’t wear makeup, and I even pull my hair up. I try everything but nothing seems to work and it’s so insanely frustrating. But like I don’t actually know if I wanna be a guy idk if that makes sense like there are days where I like looking a little more feminine it’s just their few and far between so idk anymore. I also like my hair on the longer/fluffier side but I feel like I can’t have that because then I’ll never look like a guy even though I know I can have longer/fluffier hair if I want to.

The krang infection happened lifetimes ago, chosing a family to modify their DNA.
It happened slowly and the family didn't know that the krang even existed. It started the humans have existed for 200 years. In the year 201 the Krang infected a woman, Edith Wright. With her husband Adger Clifford their first born was Locke Clifford (Last name taken from where his father lived) Over the centuries the "infestra" noticed that woman went more unnoticed and started to develop the power more in the girls. When it manifested in men, he often drew attention to himself and/or pushing it too far. Which was bad because the infestra was still in progress. This change happened in the year 583. Daughters were often married off, and one family could have multiple daughters, so it weakened from being too many people at once. Over the centuries it becomes harder for the Krang to track the infesta. The Head narrows it down to two women, Aldith Oba and Lexia Hart.

Year 311. First power shown: Speed
Edsel Taylor was 5 when everyone started to notice his incredible speed. He would challenge his friends to race and win every time. At ten he got the job of delivering messages. Soon Edsel became more well known. People came from all over to see it. More, more, and more. One day when he was running before all the spectators, his legs gave out and he never got up again. he had to be carted around for the rest of his life.
Powers/abilities: speed, strength (the basic). Teleportation, telepathy, to float/fly, invisibility, going into minds, reading minds, Revealer of secrets, controlling someone's body, explode... [this is incomplete because the infesta can add a new ability in the future.]
Physical affects: Person feeling ill/sick, 'weakened' body, Glowing: eyes, hands, and feet, vision defects, [more can be added later]
