Background:
A powerful and prestigious family of werewolves, it was no surprise to any that when Remus Walker was born, his parents had plans for him to be the Alpha succeeding Benjamin. And by the age of five, it was apparently that Remus would be just that. Even at such a young age, Remus presence demanded the attention of the older wolves. This of course slowly got into Remus’ head and he grew to be arrogant and full of himself. It was this recklessness that almost cost him the future he and his parents had envisioned for himself. It isn’t talked about much that thirteen, Remus decided he was powerful enough to go after a human who kept sneering at him like he was scum on the earth.
What happened almost resulted in Remus exposing who he was and almost led the hunters straight to his pack. But at thirteen Remus didn’t understand the consequences of his actions - at least not completely. So when he saw a human boy tormenting a girl from his pack, he stepped in and made sure that the boy knew who was stronger and better between the three of them by using his sharp senses and strength to beat the boy up while screaming at him he was only a lowly human and had no right to think he was better than him. The girl who had been tormented ran to find an adult from their pack to break apart the two boys or rather stop Remus. Once everything had calmed down, Remus saw the disappointed eyes of Benjamin and he felt afraid thinking he had just ruined his chances of being Alpha one day.
From that day on, Remus’ rage and extreme dislike of humans was muted, hidden behind his cold stare. When his parents told him that he was destined to be Grace’s mate, Remus didn’t like the idea of being chained to any one woman at the mere age of sixteen. But he did his duty as future Alpha and kept his rage in check, his appearance calm and collected as he went through life. And over the years he began to feel protective of Grace even though he felt no real, deep passionate love for her. She was a means to an end for him and he wasn’t about to let anyone ruin her and ruin his chances of being Alpha. Because to Remus Walker and the Walker family - being Alpha was everything and anything Remus heard about.
Personality:
Some call Remus Walker brooding. But really Remus is extremely calculating and can be rather cold. One thing that is certain about Remus however, is that he’s selfish. If something won’t help him become a strong future Alpha in the eyes of Benjamin he doesn’t care about it at all. This doesn’t mean that Remus doesn’t like to have fun, often he sneaks out and crashes human parties, getting so drunk he stumbles home. Never once though has he slept around with multiple women though. He is faithful to Grace and will do nothing to dishonor her. Because dishonor upon her is dishonor upon him. Remus also hates humans, and will spout off horrible things to them when he deems them getting in his way. This leads to a lot of Remus’ rage problems that he’s struggled to keep down over the years.
