Illogical but convincing Purple Hyacinth theories?
Me and @swimmingbreaddragon wrote down some theories (let’s see who gets more correct)
1) Lauren’s uncle, Tristan Sinclair aka the chief of the Ardhalis police department, is the leader of the purple hyacinth. If not, he atleast has something to do with them. (I was surprised we both had same thoughts on this)*
2) Kieran knew Dylan irrespective of whether Dylan is alive or not at present.
3) In continuation to the second point, the purple hyacinth left behind on murder scenes by Kieran have something to do with Dylan. Maybe as asking for forgiveness which is one of the meaning of purple hyacinth. (Dylan worked at a flower shop!)
*4) Kieran is related to royal family, most likely to Dakan (my friend believes they have the same eyes). He was taken to the purple hyacinth and is forced to kill people who support royalty/
5) Kieran didn’t join phantom scythe willingly; we all get that. From one of the chapters, we know that Kieran had someone for which he was doing all that. The exact line being “I know who you are doing this for.” What if that someone was Dylan? (I somehow can’t imagine it being his parents or family. I always thought Kieran wouldn’t have ever experienced familial love)
6) Tristan and Dakan are dating. (They are right? RIGHT?!) Either it’s too obvious when they meet up or I am just an idiot.
*7) Kieran’s parents were involved in snapdragon and were killed just like Lauren’s parents. The phantom scythe abducted/took him in and made him their pawn, making him their pawn and thus he had no choice but to kill people.
8) During the party, Will’s father says him and Lauren’s parents never had an argument they couldn’t solve. We know he has the mindset of high class society and wouldn’t approve of snapdragon or be a part of it. What if the argument was about him condemning their actions in snapdragon?
*9) Will’s father was involved in the death of Lauren’s parents and thus the lie at the funeral.
*10) Will’s father, Lauren’s uncle and Dakan are a part of snapdragon. Dakan may still have connections with phantom scythe.
11) Kieran and Dylan were the mentioned children in the car on the day of explosion.
*12) The nitroglycerine was for the Redcliffe’s ball.
