I talked about it to my friend but i still feel so empty so im writing it out here as well

I hate that all fandoms ultimately are meant to die. I hate it when pieces of media, be it anime, games, books and whatever, slowly fade into the past. I hate it when something that used to bring me so much joy is just. Not relevant anymore. Nobody cares about it now. People i used to interact with over that particular thing who havent been active for months. People who just "grew up". And even if there are people who still like it just as much as I do, i dont freaking know where they are. Discord servers are barren. Subreddits with the latest post being from October 2025. Popular blogs of that fandom on tumblr last active two years ago.

I hate it when everyone just seems to be moving forward while im still stuck thinking about that one character who never deserved the hate they got, meanwhile people have nearly forgotten that the character even existed. I keep waiting for my favourite villain's redemption arc or backstory, all while knowing for sure that even the ones writing the story have grown up. Even they moved on from it all. I'm still waiting for the christmas update for that one game i used to play until my head hurt, all while knowing the developers that the team started with have probably left the company too, and found a job elsewhere.

All while I'm at a standstill. Watching videos from years ago and liking posts from 2024. It just feels like everyone is going home from the party and im not ready to leave.

"Your Throne" really is like "unethical polyamory" but the unethical isn't about cheating it's all consensual it's just the poisonings the attempted murders between eachother and towards family members the corpse desacration the actual murders and the terrorism. Yes, they are in the world's most toxic bdsm relationship, but also Eros just murdered his own subjects to hurt Pelon's reputation this breakup has a bodycount. Can you imagine the YouTube thumbnail though:

Polycule so messy the Pope gets involved. Polycule so messy God gets involved. Imagine wanting to lez out with the hot goth who saved your life and your people but there's a non-negligeable chance that one of her subs is inhabiting her body and the guy who has been engaged with them both lied to you about your father's dead body. Imagine being the world's most devoted sub and your kinda rival sub who your mistress now hates has switched bodies with your mistress but now she looks just like your mistress who you adore and you didn't expect her to have a more dominant side as well. Imagine being in love with a manipulative sadist and a manipulative dom and finding out one of them wants to kill you while you're stuck in the other's body. Imagine being the smartest woman in the world and having to deal with all of these people. Imagine just being Pelon. These are not serious people.

I am still pissed at this video insinuating that there's little to not interesting female characters in the whole medium of anime and manga so I made this list. I tried to make the less well known at the top of it.

There's different experience, setting and even representation. Comedy, tragedy, melancholy, adventure, action, yuri and even asexuality... i tried to put as much as diversity in the genre too.
