my friend Şiyar needs help. me and Şiyar met at a bar after the 2019 İstanbul pride, me and my friends were trying to unwind from running from the cops and all, and so was she. she is a really sweet, kind person and important to all of us.

Şiyar is a Kurdish trans woman, lesbian, artist and activist in Turkey, she is a conscientous objector to mandatory military service, she cant work because of her health problems and is in debt. she needs 6500 usd to remove the risk of incarceration and to cover medical expenses related to her transition.

we would all be grateful if you could spread this around (but not on Turkish social media please) and give something if you can. there is more info about Şiyar and her situation at the link.
