Hi Peatrice! How are you doing today? Me and Mommy made some pumpkin cookies, would you like some? ovo/

Peatrice loved it when Kukiel came to her stall; she was always full of adventure stories and seemed to like making the blond smile. “Hello Kukiel and of course, I’ll take one,” She replied and took one of the cookies the little girl was offering.

“Any new daring adventures?” she asked Kukiel and took a bite of the cookie. Peatrice didn’t care too much for pumpkin but she always liked to see Kukiel’s smiling face when people ate the food she helped make.

“You betcha!”

Kukiel prattled away about her newest adventure that she had with Gully. She used a wide variety of hand gestures, nearly tipping over the small woven basket full of freshly baked cookies in her arms. Kukiel spoke of little treasures that both her and Gully found; of feathers and spare rupees lying around. Even butterflies and stag beetles, Gully being more fond of the latter.

She leaned over the counter and looked side to side. “We even went through the caves! Gully spotted a chu chu muckin’ around and it noticed us,” Kukiel said while nodding her head.

“So me and him went ham on it! Gully kept smacking it with his bug net, and I had a wooden sword!” A branch, she meant, as Peatrice could still see the sturdy twig poking out from the back of Kukiel’s coat. “It made really icky sounds when we hit it and then it turned into a puddle,” Kukiel giggled. “It was super-duper cool!”
