I think I need to focus less on Syntoia's time period accuracy, and more about how she's just neat. Maybe I don't have to confine her to her lore. I just have to have fun with her. Anyways, look how bad ass she looks here. Like most bad asses though, she's a softie at heart.

a bigger version of my geode head sculpt, this time with less kintsugi & more lichen!

i made some rainbow-colored crystals for her that look beautiful irl, but didn't really photograph that well. my camera settings were off in other ways too, and i only realized when i started editing. the head's displayed on my trusty random-1/3-vinyl-body & some bean leaves that fell victim to the recent heat wave.

i'm almost constantly battling the need to print two of all my sculpts. in this case i happened to have just a little bit left of two different metallic colorshift filaments, so the need to make twins won.

Next month will be the anniversary of my sworn brother @ irlbillyhope getting everything in his house stolen by his shitty landlord and given to criminal fence Jim Alan Mueller (Wholesale Jim), who held it for ransom and only gave a fraction back. Because of the amount of time that has passed, my friend having since moved out of the area, and the law coming down on the slumlord behind it all, Jim may feel safe enough to start listing the dolls again.

I'm asking people to please keep an eye out for any ebay or even Facebook sale posts out of the greater Louisville (KY) area or just over the border in Merrillville, IN or neighboring towns that have lots of Ringdolls and old ResinSouls, likely appearing alongside a sizeable amount of furbies.

We'd like to recover as many of the dolls as possible, of course, and I will be posting about of what's still in the wind shortly, but what he misses most are his Minimees of the Gazette. Especially in light of bassist Reita's recent likely suicide. He used to be the bassist in a tribute band, and it would be nice to have that connection back in some form. If nothing else, we ask folks keep an eye out for those heads, or if anyone knows a 3d print shop doing independent Minimees who takes commissions to please tell us.

Opossum update.

Good news! I found someone to take him!

Bad news. He hasn't come back to the house in a week. He would show up every night at 10:30. I found someone to help him last Thursday, got everything set up to catch him overnight, and he didn't come. He has shown up since. He has probably died from his wounds.

As sad as I am, at least now I will have someone to help animals in need in the future.

PS- IF YOU LIVE IN WEST VIRGINIA AND HAVE AN ANIMAL IN NEED DO NOT CONTACT THE DNR. THEY WILL KILL THE ANIMAL.

This isn't my usual blog content but I need help! My mother has a opossum that comes to her house every night to eat the cat food and sleep in the cat box. 3 days ago it showed up and it's entire nose and snout has been ripped off. It's skull is visible. I live in West Virginia and there are no wildlife sanctuaries to take it to for help. I have been trying to contact a private wildlife rehabilitator for the last 3 days with no response. It is illegal to take it across state lines, even though there is a wildlife hospital only 2 hours away from me in Virginia.

Please if anyone knows who I can get in contact with who may be able to help please let me know!
