As a project moon old head and Homestuck fan myself I wanna hear your take on the overlapping fandoms and why you think that is
I've been struggling with this ask because every attempt to answer this question has ended up way too long.
I think there's a lot of overlapping themes, particularly regarding abusive systems with perverse incentives. There's the idea that character growth is an actual resource that can be harnessed for power, like with the Seed of Light project vs the Genesis Frog. Both Homestuck and Project Moon have a high barrier to entry and an even higher critical demand on the reader due to unreliable narrators completely failing to grasp the deeper meanings of their own stories (by design; this is intentional).
But also, I have a completely unfounded conspiracy theory that KJH is, if not a Homestuck himself, at least aware of it. I don't know anything about the Korean Homestuck fandom except that it exists, but the fact that it DOES exist makes this a possibility. I know that Lobotomy Corporation grew out of the SCP fandom, and a lot of Homestucks migrated there, so it's possible, at least. There's a lineage.
Uhhhh…? Some weird cat thing pulled up to my island…

>Homestuck is the Nexus point from which all modern culture originates
Dave strider from Homestuck could make a Singularity in the world of project moon's City
I am not joking.
In Homestuck the B2 ancestor version of Dave strider makes billions by making tools and weapons and such so bad that it actually makes money making them
it is so cheap to make it it costs negative dollars he is making money making those things
if that is not Singularity then I don't know what is please discuss this
i like him
Why did they make him hotter
>because he asked nicely
