Imagine this but Byler.

Will and Mike walking around NYC holding hands and they stop them and ask them about their story.

And Will goes into tangent on how they‘ve known each other since childhood, have been best friends since they were kids. And he talks about the swingset and his unrequited love for Mike and how Mike was so oblivious and how he finally realized how he feels and they got together.

And Will talks with his hands and his whole body because he loves this story.

And Mike is just standing there, staring at him because he’s so in love and he doesn’t even try to object or defend himself because there’s not an ounce of lie in Will’s story.

So, when Will finally finishes the story, he looks at Mike and asks “Do you have anything to add?”

And Mike just grins at him and says “I love you.”

So, I haven't been online for ages. I came back on today and found out that one of my favourite alnst artists has passed away, and I started sobbing. My absolute best wishes to her family, friends, fellow fans, and community. Her impact on the alnst community itself was massive and her art was absolutely incredible. Please tag me in any art re-posts, or attach them here, of her works.

love the "established hucklerobby but newcomers have no idea" trope

dana instructing new med students:

"if dr robby is not in the mood and you need to ask him smth that will make him even more snappy please do us all a favour and take dr whitaker with you to soften the blow"

• one day some student comes up to robby alone, stuttering "dr. whitaker said he's busy but he told me to tell you to listen to my report and not be mean because I made a mistake"

• sometimes dennis waves the student off "yeah you go, I'll stand here where he can see me, don't worry I'm watching"

so he's just giving robby the look across the hall and a nod of encouragement to the student

it all clicks for the newbies one day

dennis pops up in the hospital on his day off (because robby forgot his keys) and suddenly robby (whos been bitching the whole day) smilies brightlly, greeting him with a "hey baby" and a peck on his lips

dennis murmurs "hi, here's your keys and I need you to fix your attitude a little cz I've been getting complains"

robby snaps a look at trinity who just shrugs her shoulders like yeah I told on you, what you're gonna do about it

I've actually made a series of tweets about this trope so here we go

1.

new nurse running up to dana with wide eyes

"I think I just saw dr robby kiss doctor whitaker"

dana doesn't even lift her eyes from the laptop when she says:

"yes, married people do that sometimes, sweetheart"

and when hucklerobby are fighting all hell breaks loose

robby is out for blood and dennis refuses to talk to him

"everyone for themselves! dont look dr robby in the eye and DONT bother whitaker. dont let his cherub face trick you, hes vicious and will snap at you when provoked"

also this is exactly how I imagine nurses be standing behind dennis when he's handling robby

dennis politely dodging all of the attempts but the nurse just thinks he's shy

at some point santos comes up to the nurse:

Okay... season 5, where to start?

I have many options about this season, many actually being quite negative... which is quite disappointing as I had so much hope for this last and final season.

!!WARNING, THIS CONTAINS ST S5 SPOILERS¡¡

Acting:

So to start off, I'd like to start with the acting. The acting was amazing. Sure, in some shots it could have been better and may have been a little sloppy, however, overall it was pretty good.

I would like to point out that I believe Sadie and Caleb did the best job this season and really delivered their characters storylines this season beautifully.

This brings me to my next point...

Storylines:

As I said about the acting, the storylines of most characters and nearly the whole season were sloppy. To me, it seemed as though a lot of stuff from previous seasons (especially season 4) where left out and not included/used/thought of. Like, sure we got the Byler painting at the end on Mikes wall while he writes and the occasional Eddie reference but that's really it.

Nancy and Jonathan's storyline/s where (in my opinion) one of the best. They talked, matured, and grew. Max and Lucas are also in my top.

A lot of the storylines also felt rushed, incomplete, or like there was a massive chunk of it taken out.

Will's storyline started strong with him flirting with Mike, rebelling against his mum, talking to Robin and getting his powers. But it ended almost disappointingly. I was expecting so much for him especially after the first 4 episodes of the season, but it ended so basically.

I also had hopes with Mike, but he only had the same result as Will.

These 2 queers bring me to my next point...

Byler:

Like me, many Stranger Things fans are Byler shippers. Throughout the seasons, they have unbelievable chemistry. Even through the start of season five!! Only for it all to go down the drain during Will's coming out scene...

Will's coming out scene was also a mix of emotions for me. It was nice, sure.. but it also had a lot of flaws. Almost impossible to feel like it was written by a straight man.

Back to byler.. now, in a way, it felt like they almost queerbaited us. They added so much byler details, underlines and hints in previous seasons and even at the start of the new season, only for it to get pushed away and be unused.

I had so many "Byler But's" with this season.. like: "but Mike doesn't know El didn't really commission the painting" "but Will's feelings towards Mike were so strong, Mike couldn't possibly be a Tammy" and many, many, MANY more.

Moving on to my next point:

Shots:

A lot of the shots this season where... erm... not the best. There were some scenes that felt like I was watching some crappy, low budget show. For example, a shot where Hopper drops his walkie-talkie.

In conclusion:

I could go on and on about how crappy and sloppy this season was, but im trying my best to keep it on the shorter side. It felt rushed, sloppy. Key details and storylines from previous seasons went unused and forgotten. The script was questionable in some places.

I was and still am disappointed with this season.
