To him, it's something to do with the way "my" and "boo" go together - a foreshadowing for your future surname, perhaps ;)
When he's jealous: 내꺼 (Naekko) - mine/my sweetheart
Admittedly, Seungkwan gets jealous quite a bit, so you hear this quite often. You don't really mind, though. You would never tell him, out of fear of adding oil to the fire, but seeing him being so protective, and even borderline possessive, over you and your attention makes you feel loved and wanted. This name is just a reminder of how much he loves and cherishes you.
Vernon
Most common: babe
You initially thought that Vernon would be embarrassed or simply not used to calling you anything but your name, but to your surprise, the switch over to babe was almost instantaneous. It doesn't matter if you're with family, his friends, your friends - it's just what he calls you now. Simple as that.
The one you hate: bro
In Vernon's defence, it doesn't slip out very often, and it's rarely intentional. He calls everyone around him bro - his members, his friends, even his mom sometimes. It just slips out without him even noticing. After seeing you pout and whine a couple of times, though, he's now quick to apologize and rectify his mistake.
Chan
Most common: darling
Chan's a classic guy - sue him. To be honest with you, calling you this has made him flustered during the first couple of months when you got together, but soon enough, his desire to show his adoration for you far outweighed his embarrassment. Mind you, he's not embarassed about you necessarily. In his defense, the smile you give him every time he calls you that is enough to make anyone nervous!
When he's feeling clingy: 자기야 (Jagi-ya) - honey/baby
Even though this is commonly used, the way Chan says it, drawing out the last syllable while burying his head into your neck for comfort makes it that much harder for you to resist his request for cuddles, or kisses, or any form of affection he seems to be craving 24/7.

Anyone who has met Dokyeom will tell you that he's sunshine personified, but he's quick to tell you that the only reason why he's able to be so bright all the time is becuase of you.
When he's pouting: sweetie
This is usually paired with a whine, the pout never leaving his lips as he presses kisses all over your face, or as he clings onto your back, giving you a back hug (that's quickly turning into a bear hug). He's trying to soften you up, but in his efforts to do you, he forgets that you were already soft for him to begin with, no pouting required.
Mingyu
Most common: 애기야 (Aegiya) - baby
Maybe its the height difference between you two (he's literally a good head or two taller than you), or the way he loves to pamper and spoil you with every chance he gets, whether it by cooking for you, buying you clothes and jewellry you mentioned once or twice, but Mingyu has always had his way of making sure you knew you were loved and cared for. 애기야 is just his verbal way of showing it.
When you're mad at him: 공주님 (gongjunim) - princess
Mingyu absolutely hates it when you're mad, and if this anger is directed at him? He's willing to do anything, absolutely anything, to make you not mad at him again. He was already treating you like royalty before, but now? You're his 공주님. And seeing him like this, trying his best to make everything okay again, all while staring at you with those puppy dog eyes, makes you forget what you were even mad about in the first place.
Minghao
Most common: bǎobèi (baby)
You hadn't expected Minghao to have any pet name for you, and you kept telling yourself you were okay with it. He has always been careful with his words, only saying enough to get his point across. You knew this going into the relationship, so it didn't surprise you too much when he kept calling you by your name the first few months of your relationship, as if nothing had changed. So when you heard him call you bǎobèi out of the blue one day, it had you scrambling to the translation app. You had watched enough C-dramas at this point that you are 80% you know what it means, but you didn't want to get your hopes up. And while you were going through this internal panic, Minghao sat there the whole time, peering over his sunglasses with a small smile as he watched the most beautiful shade of blush bloom on your cheeks as you realise that yes, he did call you what you thought he did. Well, Minghao knows what he'll be calling you from now on.

Whatever it is, it's addicting, and you don't want him to stop.

Jun loves to call you this whenever you make a silly mistake. Given how clumsy you are, he calls you this quite often. Perhaps it's you tripping over thin air in your rush to greet him when he comes home, or maybe it's when you accidentally knock over your drink while leaning over to get to him over the dinner table, Jun will always be by your side within moments, picking you up off the floor or cleaning the mess. Soonyoung's most commonly spoken word these days must be jagi. It doesn't matter if you're sitting right next to him, and he's tapping your shoulder to show you a funny reel, or if you're in the next room, his loud but ever-so-sweet voice calling out to you, the pet name slides right off his tongue like it was made just to call you this.
When he's tired: 내 사랑 (nae sarang) - my love
Soonyoung doesn't really speak or act with a filter on most of the time, but when he's tired? Every single thought that passes through his mind will be said. You find it amusing, at times - it's hard to tell whether he's drunk or just sleepy. But secretly, a part of you absolutely adores when Soonyoung gets like this, espeically when he calls you 내 사랑 - becuase you know it's what he actually thinks of you.
Wonwoo
Most common: 애인 (Aein) - sweetheart/lover
If there's anything you always look foward to coming home to after a long day facing the outside world, its being wrapped up in your boyfriend arms as he calls you Aein-ah. It never fails to you make you feel warm and loved inside, like you're home.
When he's distracted: sweets
If you interrupt him while he's gaming or otherwise distracted, this is probably what he'll call you. You have no idea why he has a separate nickname for times like these, but it always slips out, ever gentle and patient, even if he was just yelling at his game mere seconds before. Sometimes you would call him when he's on his computer just to hear him call you this, but he doesn't have to know that.
Jihoon
Most common: babe
We all know Jihoon isn't the best with words, and the same applies to pet names. When in the presence of other people, even close friends, he prefers to stick to just your name, usually accompanied by a light touch to grab your attention. But recently, he's been starting to let babe slip. You don't even think he notices. You're not going to tell him, though.
When you're alone: my love
He may not be comfortable with pet names in public, but in private? That's a whole different person. "My love, I wrote this song for you". "Love, did you see the new anime that came out?" "Oops, sorry love, didn't see you there". It's like he knows what it does to you. Maybe this is why you're okay whenever your friends tease him for his 'lack of affection', since you know he's anything but.

When he's teasing you: aegi (iykyk)
During his light-hearted teasing, while you pouted dramatically, wanting to be mad at him (which happened more often than you liked to admit), his calling you this would either make you melt immediately, or feel talked down to, not unlike a child. This, of course, never lasts for long, as Jeonghan is not Jeonghan if not the most observant boyfriend to exist, and he is always, always quick to reassure you that he only calls you this because he sees you as precious and something he must protect. Huh.
Joshua
Most common: love
Even if this is the most common pet name he uses for you, it never fails to make you feel, well, loved, every time. He somehow manages to say it with the same amount of sincerity, admiration, and pure admiration for you every, single, time.
When he's sleepy: lovie
Even though it's only a single-letter difference, Joshua calling you this just makes you feel all kinds of different. Maybe its the way his voice dips, softer around the edges in ways you didn't know was possible, or maybe its the relaxed, gentle smile that always seemed to accompany the name whenever he got sleepy. Whatever it is, you hope he never stops.

You were on the couch, your romance novel in one hand and fingers carding through your boyfriend's hair in the other. Suddenly, your fingers stalled in their movements, a small gasp escaping. He frowned, a confused pout forming as he turned to look up at you.
"What's wrong, honey?"
How were you supposed to tell him? "Nothing, nothing, something just happened in the book." It's embarrassing as it is. He's been under the impression this whole time that you've been reading cute, fluffly rom-coms. To let him know about the soft romances and often spicy books you enjoyed more? No, thank you!
What you weren't expecting, though, was for him to suddenly reach up, plucking the book out of your hands before you could even react, let alone make a move to stop him.
At this point, you didn't even attempt to get it back, having played this game many times before and knowing full well how much stronger he was than you. You could only watch, half out of shame, half out of curiosity, as his eyes scanned over the page you were reading.
"So this is the kind of stuff you're into, huh?" How does he want you to respond to that?
You try to shake your head, but he only speaks again.
"Should've told me earlier, baby." You look down now, avoiding his gaze. Gosh, this is so embarrassing. Out of all the pages, of course, this was the one he had to read!
Suddenly, you feel a strong grip on your chin as he tilts your head up, forcing your eyes to meet his. And when you do, the look in his gaze is something you haven't seen before. Gone was soft, mildly concerned boyfriend look, but now mixed with something more, something dangerous.
You shift under his intense gaze, trying to use this opportunity to take the book back from him and hopefully escape from whatever this situation is.
This was when he placed the book on the coffee table (after making sure to mark the page, of course), and gathered both of your wrists in one hand.
You couldn't even control the noise of surprise that slipped out as he then pushed you back until your back hit the couch. You had imagined this moment for so long, but had never had to guts to ask him for it.
Hovering above you, he looked down at you squirming underneath him, helpless to the position he had just put you into. The desperate pleas for him to kiss you, leaving your lips weren't helping either.
Finally, leaning down, he left a kiss on your left cheek, then your right.
You couldn't help but whine at that.
"What, baby? You wanted kisses, no?"
"Proper kisses! Please, don't tease me..."
He laughed, more to himself than to anyone. If you didn't know better, it would've sounded condescending. His lips met your skin once more, but this time, placing kisses along your jawline as he watched you lean up desperately.
"Should've told me this before, baby. Now you've gotta learn to be patient. To take what you're given, and not ask for more."

When you first suggested it, eyes downcast and voice small, like you already had the answer anticipated, he simply hummed understandingly, but gave little reaction other than that. You were quick to say, "It's just a silly idea I read in one of my romance novels. We don't have to do it though!"
You were too busy over-explaining yourself, trying to make the situation less awkward and uncomfortable for him, you didn't notice him smirking to himself internally.
"I know you aren't big on physical affection, and I get that, really. Just ignore me, really..." He nodded solemnly, a plan already forming in his head.
"Sorry, you know I'm not really good at these types of romantic gestures," he said, even managing to look a little bashful.
And so that was that. You were a little disappointed, sure, but being with your boyfriend was better than any fake scenarios in your books. Still, a small part of you refused to let it go. A girl can dream, right?

A couple of weeks later, you were at the stove cooking dinner, while waiting for your boyfriend to come home. This wasn't anything new - you took great pride in cooking for the both of you, especially knowing how much he loved whatever you made.
Soon enough, you heard the soft click of the door as your boyfriend returned home.
Normally, he would go straight into the bedroom to take a quick shower before joining you in the kitchen. As much as you loved the way his office suits fit him, you knew he prioritized comfort over style, so you could only appreciate the work of art that is your boyfriend in slacks for a quick glimpse every morning and evening before he reverts back to comfortable clothing.
But today was different. You waited for the familiar "I'm home!", but you were met with silence.
"Welcome back, honey! I'm in the kitchen!" You called out to him. Maybe he thought you went out.
But instead of a reply, or hearing the bedroom door open and close, you suddenly feel a warm presence behind your back, arms looping their way around your waist.
Your hand freezes mid-stir. It's not that he's never backhugged you before, but they're certainly rare and few between.
"Wha-" The word dies in your mouth when you feel his lips press against your neck. What the hell? Your boyfriend, notorious for his supposed disinterest in physical affection, and rarely initiates kisses between you, suddenly backhugs you and kisses you willingly?
"I missed you, baby," He murmurs into your skin, still placing fleeting kisses on your shoulder blade. Meanwhile, you were panicking. Was this really your boyfriend? What has gotten into him? He's never called you any form of pet name before, save for the occasional "babe", claiming that it was cheesy and inauthentic. So why is he calling you baby all of a sudden?
Seemingly unaware of your mental spiral, his hands subtly moved down towards your waist, turning you around suddenly so you were now facing him. The spatula you were holding flew across the room, sauce splattering across the floor as it landed.
Ugh, now you were gonna have to clean that up. You make a move towards it to pick it up, but the grip on your waist only tightens.
"Ignore it." He moves his hands away from your waist to rest on the counter behind you, effectively trapping you in between his arms. His face is mere inches away from yours now.
"Honey, I have to coo-" Apparently, he's now taking a liking to interrupting you, as he suddenly captures your lips in his, almost as if he's trying to shut you up by swallowing the words coming out of your mouth.
"Shhh, too much talking," He whispers in between kisses. Your back is completely pressed against the counter now, and it's beginning to dig into your skin, making it slightly uncomfortable. Not that you were going to say anything, though. You don't remember the last time your boyfriend openly showed you physical affection like this, so you were going to enjoy every second he was willing to indulge you in.
Almost as if he could read your mind, the arms found their way back to your body again, one around your waist and one supporting your thighs as he lifted you to sit on the counter as if you weighed nothing. It was only during this short break did you noticed he was still in his work clothes, and seeing his arm muscles through his dress shirt, paired with that nonchalant display of strength, was doing things to you that you would never admit out loud.
"Seriously, honey, the chicken's gonna burn if we keep doing this." As much as you would like to keep going, you can already smell the burning from the forgotten dinner on the pan.
"Let it. I've got better things to eat, anyway." At that, you immediately flush red, avoiding his eyes. When did his voice get so hot? So brazen?
It was at this point that it suddenly hit you. It wasn't that your boyfriend didn't care about your fantasies, but he was waiting for the perfect moment.

Usually, he's the big spoon, if only because it means he can completely engulf you in his embrace, melding into your back almost perfectly and tangling your legs in his. In this position, you can't move away even if you wanted to, which works perfectly fine if you ask him.
If you refuse to cuddle him? I hope you're strong enough for the massive pout that will inevitably form on his face as he sulks to eternity and complains that you 'don't give him enough love'.
And when you do give in, he only continues to sulk, this time about why you took so long to join him in bed, before finally falling alseep, grip on you never losening.
Jeonghan:
Sleepy Jeonghan meant clingy Jeonghan, which also meant one of your favourite sides of him.
If you were flittering around the house, getting ready for bed, he would follow you around while trying to bury his head into your shoulder, already half asleep. Every time you started to move to go on to your next task, he would start whining about how 'you move too much' and 'I think your skincare routine is 10 steps too long'.
On days when he would already be waiting for you in bed, he would be buried under the covers, lazily watching you as he tells you to join him because 'it's too cold'. If he was too tired though, so most days, he would have fallen asleep even before you got to step 5 of your routine.
Joshua:
A sleepy Joshua is rare. Most of the time, it's usually you trying to coax him away from whatever activity he's currently fixated on, to convince him to join you in bed.
But on the rare occasion you're awake to witness his sleepy side, you're always amazed at how he seems to grow softer than he already is, which you didn't think was even possible.
A sweet, dopey smile would permanently rest on his face, staring at you the whole time. At this point, you could ask him anything and he would agree with you. You doubt he even knows what you're saying, but agree to anything if it means you would keep talking to him in that hushed, gentle tone.

Immediately starts sulking, but he tries to pretend otherwise. He tries to figure out why you would do buy a pillow to rest your head on, when his biceps are right there? Like hello? He didn't spend hours upon hours in the gym just for you to buy some... replacement instead of his arms.
Fully expecting this reaction from him, you calmly explain that no, it's not that his arms aren't comfortable, no, you still want cuddles when you sleep, but you only bought it for when he's away on tour or out late on a schedule, just so you can have something to cuddle in place of him.
But that only seems to make him even more sulky. "But I'm here right now, and it's taking up my spot," he softly argues, lips pouting into an adorable whine, before gently untangling it from your embrace and not so gently flinging it across the room.
He pays it no mind, a smug smirk slowly growing on his face as he slides into bed next to you, arms automatically capturing you into his tight embrace.
"I won't tell you what you can or can't do when I'm not here, but when I'm here, you're only allowed to cuddle with me, okay? My arms are your pillow. If you don't like it, use my chest, anything. Just not that thing, okay?"

Jeonghan walked into the bedroom, and to say the sight before him surprised him was an understatement, and he didn't even try to hide it. You were in the middle of the bed, but rather can cuddling your rabbit plushie he got for you, or one of the extra pillows on your bed, there was a gigantic pillow almost twice your size, and you were right there, buried in the middle of it.
A knowing smirk tugs on his lips - he's about to have a field day, that's for sure.
"Oh? Didn't know you were pregnant, baby. Congratulations. Who's the father?"
At the sound of his voice, you turn around, facing him.
"Wha- What do you mean??"

He tried calling you one more time. "Baby, you asleep? I'm sorry..." Seeing you still wouldn't respond, he probably thought you were already asleep, as he whispers, "Oh damn, this is actually pretty comfortable. You better watch out, I might just steal it from you one day."
Joshua:
"Hi love- Oh! What's this?" Joshua's gentle voice made you look up from where you were scrolling on your phone. You had been waiting for him to come back home, but you were never able to fall asleep without him.
"It's a pregnancy pillow, Shua. I thought it would be nice to cuddle with, so I could fall asleep without you, but I don't think it's working. At least it's really soft, see!" You pat the spot next to him, inviting him to cuddle with you.
"Oh yeah! It's pretty comfortable!"
You settle into a warm silence as you begin to drift back into slumber, especially feeling his hands card through your fingers in the way that never failed to pull you into slumber. The real thing is always better than any pillow, anyway.

He doesn't even try to baby you. It just comes naturally to him - if you move to sit on the couch, his arm would automatically sneak around your waist to pull you into his lap. If you were struggling to peel a tangerine because of your long nails, before you could even turn to ask him, he would be reaching over to peel it for you, even remembering to take out the white bits you didn't like, before feeding you like second nature.
It's not that he thinks you can't do things for yourself, or that he's making a concious decision to baby you, per say, but that's the way he shows his love towards you, it's as simple as that.
Jeonghan:
Jeonghan wouldn't be Jeonghan without teasing you first. If you had a bad day and just wanted to cuddle up with him, he would jokingly tease, "oh, clingy today, aren't we? I thought you didn't want my kisses yesterday?"
And when you would inevitably whine and start to pull away, trying but failing to hide your disappointment and shame, he would pull you back into his arms almost forcibly in a rare display of strength. "Where are you going? Hm?"
"I thought- You said-"
"Did I say I didn't want your hugs?"
You didn't say it, but you implied it, you wanted to say, but held your tongue.
"When have I ever, in all our years of dating, refused your hugs?"
You couldn't keep quiet at that. You could never lie to him. "Never..."
"That's right, baby. So don't go putting words into my mouth, okay?"
You start to panic now. Was he actually mad? "Sorry, I didn't mean to, I swe-"
At your sudden panic, Jeonghan stiffened under you, but he recovered quickly and began to plant kisses on the base of your neck, your jawline, your temple, anywhere he could reach, all the while keeping his grip on you.
"Shhh, baby, baby, I'm not mad. Look at me. I'm not mad, okay?" His tone softened, like he was talking to an actual baby. "I love your hugs, you know that, right? I just like to tease you sometimes because you don't always give them to me so willingly." You roll your eyes slightly at that, which makes him relax his shoulders.
"So, can I have my cuddles now? I've missed my baby all day, I think I deserve twice the amount..." You can't help but smile at that, burying deeper into his embrace. You let out a sigh as you feel your eyelids slowly get heavier.
Right before you drifted off to sleep, you felt the soft press of a kiss to your temple. "I'm sorry for always teasing you, baby. I love you."
Joshua:
Anyone who says Joshua's tone is gentle has never heard him speak to you. When he talks to you, it's almost as if his voice automatically softens even further (who knew that was possible?). Your favourite was when you would crawl into bed after an exhausting day, and he would pull you in gently so he could thread his fingers into your hair, giving you a head massage as he whispered sweet nothings into your ear.
If you tried to talk or apologise, he would immediately shush you, whispering, "it's okay, baby, you don't have to talk." Eventually, you would fall asleep to the sensation of soft kisses pressed against your temple and cheek, as stress and worries drifted away.
