Hey there my fellow Americans. Just a reminder that the second amendment exists for a very specific reason, and that reason may be necessary at some point in the next 4 years.

Thicc crocodile passing on your timeline🐊
Recently saw these little guys here, but they weren't around for long. Very silly birds, and they have a fun call.
Canada Jay Perisoreus canadensis
Ahhh how cool, I'm so jealous!!! Canada jays are up there in my top-wanted-to-see birds. I hope I'm able to make it somewhere where they hang out, someday!
Thanks for sharing as always :)
Hi my friend, it's been awhile. I have pictures of a raven gang war. It was a 2v3 and absolutely wild to see
I couldn't get very good ones from the vehicle, but it was crazy to witness.
Common Raven Corvus corax
Hey there!! I'm sorry this sat in my inbox for a bit, I saw it and then immediately forgot about it haha. That sounds like a wild event to witness! How did it end? Was there a clear winning group?
I always wonder about the dynamics of groups like this. Are the two birds a mated pair? What about the three birds, a mated pair and adult offspring? It's interesting to wonder about and I wish it were easier to tell individual birds apart.
Thanks for the photos, nice to hear from ya!
Late reply (been absurdly busy)
The group of 2 started antagonizing one raven over some bugs on the bumper of a car. The one being harassed let out a caw and then 2 more joined it to fight off the aggressors. Most of it happened behind the red car in the picture.
guy who doesn’t know about chimneys: dude your house is vaping!
guy who doesn't know about chimneys but is also a stoner: dude can i have a hit?
every time i take a shot of buckleys i forget how much this stuff does not taste like something that should ever be consumed
for the non canadians out there there is a fucked up cough syrup you can get here, idk how available it is in other countries in its original form.
It has a handful of the usual cough syrup ingredients, (menthol, camphor n whatnot)
but like. the rest of it? It feels like it's just ingredients that punch you in the throat and confuse the shit out of it long enough to let the analgesics do their job
#there’s no alcohol in it to ease it on its way down
dude i think the whole point of is is that it's difficult to get down. I think it's supposed to coat the whole of the inside of your throat so a buckleys shot is not supposed to go down easy?
Pardon?
I said what I said
back at it again with a one am dose. The Hozier cover of do I wanna know plays in my head repeatedly here, I'm really crawling back to this fucking goop that's my only hope of a coughless sleep

Hey. You possibly get this from multiple people, but I really respect that you listened and recognized where your reasoning had failed you on that popular post about people who do terrible things not “deserving” death and still being very much human as they harm others, and the dangers of having an exception that removes someone’s rights.
I don’t know you—maybe it’s normal for you to pause, reflect, and change your stated beliefs when presented with convincing arguments. But what I often see online is the opposite. I love when I come across interactions like the one you participated in, because it’s so refreshing.
That’s all. Have a good one, keep being thoughtful.
Thanks, ive gotten a lot of positive feedback from that, but i have also received death threats for the same thing.
