My thoughts on the latest episode of TVL:

‼️‼️🚨🚨SPOILERS FOR SIX OF CROWS A DARKER SHORE BELOW: SOLUTION TO PUZZLE🚨🚨‼️‼️

In case you are having trouble deciphering the secret messages in the letters, here is my solution that I’m 99% confident is right!!

First, you need to get the decoder sheet out of the envelope near the end of the book, it’s the safe harbor sheet music on some see through paper. To decode each message, you must look for these specific dashes around the music notes. It can be hard to tell which dashes are the correct ones, so below is my decoder sheet with the dashes circled. If you look at the words that are relatively “under” the dashes or within the circled parts when you lay this sheet over a letter, they should create a secret message. Make sure the little icons in the corners are lined up properly when you overlay it. The left side is for Kaz’s letters and the right side is for Inej’s letters. You can find the solutions that I got under the image :) let me know if you guys got anything different!!

*When I say 1st letter, I mean the 1st letter on the Club Cumulus paper*

Kaz 1st letter: dreamed you returned, must avoid trap

Inej 1st letter: can we set a trap of our own making?

Kaz 2nd letter: trust me to protect you, use their ships

Inej 2nd letter: I’ll return to ketterdam and to you, no mourners

Kaz 3rd letter: wait for you by the window always, no funerals

Armand you’ll always be my favorite IWTV character but Big Boss is about to go triple platinum in my household

I’m so sad that we didn’t get to see Daniel’s full reaction to Armand saying he loved him, I wish we would’ve gotten something like this where Daniel is in disbelief about Armand loving him and basically being like bitch what?? Then we would get Armand’s sad puppy dog eyes AND it would set up a more satisfying past DM reveal. Praying we get to see the aftermath of the confession in the next ep🙏

I literally cannot stop rewatching Armand’s scenes in episode 4 of TVL. Assad’s microexpressions and line deliveries are both so compelling and captivating I can’t get enough. Armand and DM stocks are so high I love it🙌

Chekov’s “You assume death at decapitation. A study done in Budapest had two class B vampires surviving separation for nearly two hours.”

My theory is that Daniel will get decapitated and that’s why Lestat keeps saying that Daniel died, but Lestat just wasn’t there to see his head get reattached so Lestat thinks that he’s dead but he’s actually alive! Yes I am coping!!!!

So, I was the luckiest person on the planet today because I got to buy AND read Six of Crows: A Darker Shore 11 days before it’s supposed to come out because my local Barnes and noble had it out on the shelf for whatever reason?? Call it fate, destiny, or a mistake, but I have had the absolute honor to read it (and solve it) nonetheless. - The puzzle was literally a blast to figure out, I will be posting solutions once the 30th rolls around (obviously I will mark them as spoilers and hide them under a cut don’t worry)

- This is just making me yearn every harder for a third book, there is so much potential. Leigh portrays the crows as if no time has passed since she last wrote them, they’re perfectly written

- I will be needing 5-10 business days to recover from how amazing it was

- I cried twice
