I'm really happy about the bag that arrived—never mind the fact that I was angry with my parents and brother.

Two packages arrived (since my sister had ordered one too) but they ended up in my brother's hands first. He started opening my sister's package thinking it was something else. I mean, how many sugared almonds did you buy to end up with boxes that big? You clearly didn't bother reading the names. Then he brought them to me and started asking what was inside. On principle—because I hate how he always opens other people's packages and is so pushy about it—I refused to tell him. Then my mother came in and told him. Sure, I have nothing to hide, but thanks for the privacy. Then my father showed up and asked me what it was, too. I went to my room to attach the keychains and it was hot in there but I told myself "I'll be quick and get out". But then I decided I also wanted to add the "Cabin 7 / Children of Apollo" pin and a small pin with a frog dressed as a clown with the text "call me biodegrable because I break down easy". The pin clasp was incredibly stiff, so:

1. I was hurting myself trying to work it

2. I couldn't get it to close

3. I placed one too high and the other too near the keychain.

I ended up yelling in frustration while trying to remove them. All the while, I was still feeling hot. Then my mother came in asking what I was doing in my room and telling me to close the window and turn on the air conditioner if I was going to stay in there (as if I weren't the one who knows better than anyone else how to live with my illness). Now I'm on edge and need to find some peace of mind again.
