Both of these are still wips, but im too excited about the progress not to share!

Lilywen is my Snow Elf mage who has congenital blindess and an intense hatred for Nords. She uses a magic aura and the Find Familiar spell to help her navigate the harsh landscape. She travels with Taliesin and eventually becomes the Arch-mage of the College of Winterhold. Her main skills are destruction and illusion.

Áine is my Breton vampire thief who suffers from self-loathing and just wants to be happy. She only drinks the blood of people who would harm her first (of which there are many in Skyrim). She travels with Arissa and Auri and eventually restores the Thieves Guild. Her main skills are Sneak, Archery, and Conjuration. Her main weapon is the Bound Bow.

Intersection in the Pale

gelebor is soooooo fucked up. All he has is the past and so he clings to it but still, he is thousands of years old. How much of the past is still in his grasp? He lives behind a thin veneer of half-remembered history. I think of it in terms of food. How often, say, has he been able to find none of the ingredients a meal requires and been forced to substitute? How long until the dish eaten is nothing like the recipe he knows? How many pieces can you replace until nothing remains of the original? How many years can you live until nothing remains of your youth? Is it still the same ship? Is it still the same man? Well, the ship stands for the same concept. The man has the same soul. Is that all a man is - a soul? His concept, his destiny, his actions? Has the priest become nothing but his service of god? That’s the idea of ascension, isn’t it? Holiness? So, he leans into the idea of a priest. However, he ultimately is driven by his desires. Things must go his way, but he is so disadvantaged as to play to the ideas of others, placating them so he may achieve his goals. And in this is a mask. His air of calm, his credibility, his knowledge, all in the simple role of priest. He is reduced to a concept, a mask he dons for his own gain and is consumed by. Like damn man 😭
