Blue loves Yellow because he represents emotion and Yellow loves Blue because he represents beauty. And the reason they love that in eachother is because its one step closer to humanity for each of them
Yellow is constantly swinging between being the most joyful person ever to suddenly needing to kill himself. Theres something incredibly human in that
Blue isnt just physical beauty (but holy shit goddamn are they the sexiest creature to ever walk the earth mr danseur build, defined jawline, and butterfly wings) But he is also someone to be admired for his personality and attributes.
They compliment eachother!! As colours, as Justice and Integrity, as a dancer and a cowboy, and as Emotion and Beauty!
look at them go

So, we all know Danny is pretty young for a ghost. Like, yeah he's 20 now and in college and living with his friends in Gotham but his core is like 6 years old.
Non of the ghost around him really gave his core 'caring parent' vibes (except maybe Clockwork and Frostbite but they feel more like grandfathers or mentors to him) so he never ended up forming a parental bond like most young ghosts do
In comes Jason from stage left
You see, Jason isn't much older than Danny really, just a year or so
BUT
The PIT is
The pit that's infected him and basically made his core how it is today.
So from an outside perspective, he feels like a much older ghost.
Well, neither of them know that. So they start hanging out, become friends and on both ends they each think they may be developing feelings for each other but something's not right.
For Jason, he knows he cares for Danny very much. He loves to see him smile and laugh and enjoys cooking for him and exchanging gifts but when Dickie bird asks if he's "down bad" all he can think is "Ew no"
But why? They're about the same age, Danny is cute and fit and has a great personality but....
Thinking of him like that gives him the ick. Danny's like his sweet baby boy! He could never think of him like that.
Wait..
On Danny's side, his bff's are on him about how obviously he has feelings for Jay! They spend so much time together, and he's hot af!
And Danny cuts them off like, "Guys, I get it but please don't call him hot. Yall saying that feels the same as when Vlad calls my mom hot, it's gross" and Sam and Tuck are both like huh?!?!? WTF DO YOU MEAN?!?!? And Danny has to stop and think, wait, what do I mean?!?
So Danny ends up going to ask Frostbite about it and Frosties all "Ah! It seems the two of you may have formed a type of parent/child bond! Congratulations on finally finding someone who you feel comfortable enough to do so with!"
...
.......
WHAT!?
Danny is flabbergasted
"But..but he's like, my age!? How does that even work!?"
Now Danny has to somehow explain to his new dad friend that they somehow "ghost parent bonded" or something without sounding like some kinda weirdo freak
Oh goodie
Joker: I brought you here because I crave the most dangerous game!
Danny, nodding: Knife Monopoly.
Joker: I was actually going to hunt you for sport, but now I want to know what Knife Monopoly is.
haunted Gotham
the Batfam has a mystery that is driving them nuts. Gotham is improving but they are unsure why, and several thangs that make no sense. the docks are smuggler free, the dockworker’s union new rep has cracked down on on illegal shipments and seems to know when snuggling is happening. The bats have not seen this guy, but he is running the docks like a crime lord but without the crimes.
someone is helping the homeless, besides food anonymously made at shelters and soup kitchens that can feed hundreds. They get hand knitted sweaters and socks.
the drug trade has had a major downturn, not only has the product gone up in smoke a suspicious amount of times, but the youth aren’t buying. In fact some dealers at raves and clubs were beaten. A lot of people are trying to get clean.
phantom cops are on the beat, several officers have been saved by uniformed strangers, only to realize that was not a GCPD officer. Crooked cops are meeting strange accidents, and claims of police brutality on officers that are dead or don’t exist.
The last few months the banks have been not successful robbed. Thanks to new bank employees, they are friendly, helpful and great with numbers and beat armed men. It’s suspicious that they all have the same accent and started work at the same time and know each other. The bat have found nothing illegal besides they may be here illegally having escaped a tyrant.
Arkham asylum has had fewer brake outs, the inmates believe there is a hunter that will skin them if they leave. The joker tried to escape, he was found later passed out at the front gate, it looked like he ran back on broken legs. His limbs were broken and he had multiple cuts like the beginning of autopsy.
the court of owls has Imploded, some of thare members were murdered and paranoia is running rampant they turn on each other. For some reason no one is using the talon's. The bats are trying to find out what set this off. human trafficking is falling, the “merchandise” keep escaping, and the traffickers detained by some invisible force. The children say a flying Robin saved them. Describe him with green hair and the colors switched on the robin costume (green tunic with a red cape and yellow accents). The sightings of the other robin are spreading but only kids.
Danny’s life is looking up, making peace with the ghosts, getting better grades, he has a bright future as he goes off to college. He can place down the mantle of phantom and be normal for once at Gotham university and not worry about one day being ghost king. Little does Danny know his ghosts fallowed him but got distracted so Danny has no idea they’re there. He is dealing with the undead dude’s that seem to follow and want to serve him. They seem to hate owl image's.

(well, more of a snippet lightly inspired by this post. I'm letting tumblr have at it!) -- Apparently, the Watchtower has a visitor.
Not in the usual way, where one JLA member or another have gotten authorization for an associate, friend or younger hero to zeta in, but not in the other way either, where the visit is very much unwanted, with alarms blaring and the station shaking and they need to gather for a fight.
Captain Marvel keeps an eye on the monitors, hand still hovering over the switches and buttons that would send an alert to the other Justice League members not on monitor duty.
But, well... If he's reading this visitor right, it just feels unnecessary to raise the alarm? Sure, their presence is sending weird bright spots and static through the camera footage, and what he can make out of their appearance is pretty freaky, but they've just been circling the Watchtower with unrestrained delight radiating from them, Billy is absolutely certain that's the emotion the visitor is expressing. Projecting? Is there empath powers involved or is that just him? He'll put a pin in it.
So, he's not sure what the protocol for an uninvited but benevolent visitor to the super hidden space station of heroes actually, well, is? Shoot, did he miss that page in the bat-assigned JLA rulebook or something?
He watches the visitor for a while longer as he and the Wisdom of Solomon and co. consider his options.
The visitor glides through open space, coming right up close to the Watchtower and occasionally stopping to observe the build of some part or another, but never touching anything. Their white and black form is partially glitched-out, but they're humanoid, long and slim, with at least two arms, a head, and two bright green eyes like a streetlight.
The visitor's current location going by the monitors puts them maybe a floor down from the window-wall to Billy's left.
…Billy decides to press the button that sends a more low-key alarm, closer to a 'suspicious activity, be on guard' alert. Stranger danger and all that. One of the others present on the station will probably pop in to check with him about the alert soon.
Then Billy stands and walks over to the window to try and get a better look at the visitor.
He can't see anything at first, just the void of space, full of distant stars and a not-so-distant peek of the Earth, though the window isn't at a good angle for that currently.
Until he catches something glowing, just down and out of sight. Billy leans in trying to glimpse it again, and spots a bit something bright white.
Followed by two spots of even brighter green as the visitor looks up, directly at Billy.
He doesn't flinch, but it's a near thing. The visitor though recoils away from the station, putting distance between them and also a better angle to see them from.
On one hand, there's no more static to obscure them, they're clear as day—and just as bright. On the other, Billy has no better idea of what they are than he did when viewing them on the monitors.
White hair, white face, a nose and ears. Black and almost scaly from the shoulders down. Is that a TAIL?
The visitor does appear to be propelling themselves through space with a tail. Long, black, dotted with green light, not very fish-like, but the way their tail turns smoky and wisp-like the closer it gets to the end could easily give the illusion of some kind of long, thin fin.
Meaning, Billy's first thought is mermaid. Space mermaid.

Writing Resources to use instead of AI
For coming up with character names:
Behind the name (my absolute fav)
Allows you to choose the origin of where you want the name to be from, whether you want a more feminine vs masculine vs androgenous name (as voted by users), random surname generator, and clicking on the name gives you important info like if there are any famous people with the same name, where it’s from, how common it is, and how people tend to see it, etc.
You can also search their name database by letter or meaning or origin, so if you know you want a character who has a name/surname that starts with an A from Ireland, there’s a whole list for you to choose from.
Census sites
Especially useful if you’re looking for a name from a specific place and/or time period. Just search “(country) census (year)” and you’ll find a database of real people who lived in that place at that time. No one can ever call your names unrealistic again.
For coming up with place names:
Fantasy name generator
This site can basically come up with any name for any person, place, or thing you might ever need. There are also specific generators for different fandoms if you’re looking to make an OC in an established world.
For finding that one word on the tip of your tongue:
One Look Thesaurus
This is my go-to. Not only can you find synonyms like a regular thesaurus, but you can also describe words like “unhappy smile” or “quiet laugh” to find the more specific word you’re looking for.
WordHippo
Works as a thesaurus (very similar to One Look) but also includes search options for words that rhyme, words that contain a specific letter or are a specific length, different word forms, sentences with a specific word etc. etc. It's like Thesaurus++
For coming up with ideas:
Word cloud
When I need to inspire a new idea, I write down all the things I’m interested in (hauntings, academia, lesbians, etc.) and put them into a word cloud to shuffle them next to each other. Sometimes seeing a concept in a new context can spark new ideas!
WWF Discord
This is my discord channel (shameless plug) for when you need to brainstorm off other people but don’t have anyone irl to talk to. We’re also happy to read and give feedback on writing, answer writing questions, or just chat!
For visualizing places and characters:
Pinterest can at times be a bit too sterile for my tastes, but if you use the right words, you can find more realistic photos of places. For example, adding “aesthetic” after basically any word will bring up a more broad collection of photos to help you flesh out places.
This is also a great way to find photos of people and fashion to help visualize characters. I’m bad at describing clothes, so I usually collect photos of outfits to help me know what my characters are wearing. Searching up “character inspiration” will collect more interesting photos and drawings of people who might not exactly be of our world.
(However, to make Pinterest not show you AI results, you have to go into your settings and check the “reduce AI” box. Luckily, it does mostly work.)
Death to Stock
Like pinterest but completely AI free (hooray!) Only drawback is that you have to pay a monthly subscription (about $20 CAD).
Cosmos
Very similar to pinterest but slightly more "artsy". I'm not super familiar with this one but I believe all the photos are human and you can save them and create collections with a free account.
Dupe Photos
Royalty-free stock image site with very Pinterest-core photos!
Minecraft
If you haven’t built your entire fictional city in Minecraft instead of writing, why not? It’s fun.
The Sims
This one is dual purpose because you can not only create your characters in Create a Sim, but you can design their houses. If you really want to go for it, you can bulldoze all the lots in your town and build your world from scratch.
Hero Forge
This character creator is intended for making D&D minis, so it has more fantasy-like options over the Sims if your characters are a bit out of this world.
House Plans.com
I was introduced to this resource through the comments on this post and it has quickly become one of my favourite things to use. If you struggle with the layout of buildings, this site lets you choose beds/baths/sq ft etc. and will show you house plans created by designers that most closely match your specs. You can also search by style instead if you're more interested in the aesthetics.
For checking grammar:
Grammar Girl
Easy to follow definitions and examples, and if you learn better by listening, every article comes with a podcast to follow along with instead.
Grammar Monster
This one is my favourite for checking grammar rules because there’s tons of examples in graphics that helps for any situation.
Reedsy
Among other things, reedsy can connect you to professional editors within your budget.
For writing advice:
One Stop for Writers
This one was recommended from my discord channel and has all sorts of tutorials and resources for the writing craft.
My Blog Directory
Another shameless plug, but if you need writing advice on something specific, you can search through my directory to see if it’s there. If it isn’t, you can always send me an ask about it!
For an alternative to Google Docs:
Ellipsus
Think google docs but without AI. Yay!
Scrivener
A more comprehensive writing software created specifically for writers, however there is a one-time payment to use ($80 CAD).
(will update this list with any more suggestions or resources I discover 😊 Thanks to everyone for your recs!)
