Ingredients: 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 2 tablespoons lemon zest. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon salt. For Glaze:. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 1 tablespoon lemon zest.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and whisk until smooth. Stir in flour and salt until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. While the brownies are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Once the brownies are done, remove from oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle glaze over warm brownies, then let cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
