Do you.. Wanna hear a rant about something that I got incredibly angry at?

Something that pisses me off more than anything would be people denying Jax' complexity. And it's so ironic because in denying that she is a complex character, they are only reinforcing the fact that so many people just don't understand her at all. Therefore making her more complex.

This problem is especially prevalent on TikTok. I see so many videos of people's "hot takes" about complex characters. And whenever Jax gets brought up in this discussion suddenly everyone denies that she is a complex character.

If she was "abusive asshole for the sake of being an abusive asshole" then yeah sure whatever. But whether you like her or not, you cannot deny that she is multifaceted.

(Don't be a dumbass and think this is me excusing things she's done. Not at all. She's absolutely abusive and she pushed her friends away and drove them to suicide. Her reasons for doing so don't change the fact that she's hurt a lot of people, and I don't wanna put a disclaimer over every point I make that says "I DON'T CONDONE JAX' ACTIONS" because it should be obvious i don't.)

But just because she's a bad person doesn't mean that she doesn't have layers.

A LARGE part of her character is her repression. And it's even more tragic because she was surrounded by people who would've understood. But in her own denial the only thing she did was push them away, which ultimately caused her abstraction.

She tried to convince herself that nothing in the circus was real so that she could distance herself from ever feeling anything. But obviously that doesn't work. It isn't like she LIKES hurting people, but she feels like its something she has to do. She was traumatized and abused, and the circus didn't really help with that.

Whether you like it or think it's a "not a good reason" for her being the way she is, that aspect of her character makes her have DEPTH and it actually pisses me off when dumbasses try to pretend otherwise.

Just a silly thought I had, based on the new Annabelle color palette. It takes more from Evil Ragatha, especially in the eyes, but rebalanced into a more cohesive triad color scheme.

And of course Jax would ruin it
