“I’m sure you know that won’t —” Joey was silenced by the sultry brunette pressing her lips once again to wrap them up in a liplock that didn’t take long to turn passionate. As Rocky settled on top of her, she parted her legs and hooked them around the brunette’s. She parted her lips and invited the kiss as deep as the other woman was willing to take it. Pushing her tongue into Rocky’s mouth and letting it massage against hers and hands settling on the curvy woman’s hips, though only staying a moment before they traveled up Rocky’s sides under her shirt, feeling the soft skin against her palms and fingertips. She moaned softly into the kiss, lifted and gently rolled her body up against the brunette’s, softly leading the other woman for more. Joey just needed more of Rocky.

Rocky could feel gooseflesh cropping up along her body in the wake of Joey’s touch. She moaned softly against plump, wet lips, opening her mouth to welcome the other woman’s tongue, ready to give into Joey’s dominance, as it were. She pushed her hips down against the force of Joey’s motion, following the lead as she had always done with the blonde. Her fingers twisted at Joey’s hair, her chest pressed hard against the other’s. A few more minutes like this and…

She rolled off, pulling Joey with her, on top of her but only just. She broke the kiss to slip her hands under the other woman’s shirt, touching her toned abdomen with admiration before yanking Joey’s shirt up.

“That’s a relief,” Daniel admitted. Still, he didn’t go back to listening to the music, knowing that she wasn’t the only person in the cafe. “Oh, I’m grading papers. Tests. It helps to listen to music sometimes. I don’t usually listen to this kind of rock music, but it’s by family so I made an exception. Sorry it was so loud. Again.”

“Don’t apologize, sweetheart.” Rocky drawled, leaning in to try and catch a glimpse of the papers. “You a teacher or somethin’?” She asked, eyes lifting back to meet his gaze. She reached a hand out for him to shake. “I’m Rocky… and I find it very interesting that you’re listening to a family member’s music while grading papers, in a café, with a skateboard under your feet.”

“I mean for some things I get, it’s just not as good as the original.  But things like pizza? So good!”  She smiled and offered up her services.  “Well I’m pretty much always free at night so if you need me to be your knight in shining casserole just hit me up.”

“Pizza is probably the only exception, if I’m honest. I’ve never liked left-overs, think it has somethin’ to do with eatin’ ‘em a lot when I was growin’ up.” She shrugged her shoulders but grinned broadly at the offer. “Aw, aren’t you a doll? Thanks, hun. If you don’t mind swingin’ by the club and seein’ a bunch of people in next to nothin’… I’d appreciate it.”

Daniel pushed his skateboard back and forth slowly as he stared down at another test, red pen in hand (and mouth). It occurred to him that he was probably being a bit of a nuisance, considering this was a relatively quiet coffee shop. His earbuds weren’t the best and, at the wrong volume, gave everyone just as good a listen as he got. 

“Sorry, am I bothering you?” he asked the person nearest. “Generally, I do this at home but I just felt like getting out today and…. I apologize.”

Rocky could hear his music clearly, and she had been watching him as he pushed the skateboard back and forth, back and forth. But it didn’t bother her. No, in fact, she had become more interested the longer she watched.

When he spoke, she flashed a pretty smile. “No, not at all... just wonderin’ what you’re up to, ‘s’all...”

Reagan smiled and bit into her panini.  “Well you’re missing out.  At least pick up something to eat later.  You never know if you’ll be in the mood for a midnight snack.  Is your coffee enough to hold you?”

“Looks delicious.” Rocky said with a wink. She really should eat more regularly, she knew that. “I’m weird about left-overs, hun. I don’t like to eat reheated food. I know, I know.” She held her hands up, smiling. “I’m odd.” She shrugged, swirling what was left of the coffee. She could see the grounds at the bottom and grimaced. “We’ll see, won’t we? I might get lucky enough to have someone swing by and bring me somethin’.”

Reagan was sitting down at one of her favorite restaurants about to enjoy her favorite food when she looked up from her plate.  “You could have some of it if you want.  You know you want to.” She even pushed the plate forward for added effect.

Rocky was tired and completely unprepared for another shift at the club, but she had to do it because money was tight. She wasn’t hungry, though, and simply offered Reagan a sweet smile and a kind shake of her head as she lifted her coffee mug to her lips. After taking a sip, she set it back down. “Nah, sug, you eat it up… I’m not very hungry.”

“You don’t have time for my antics?” Lola gasped melodramatically, placing a hand to her chest as her eyebrows shot into her hairline. “I can understand not having time for me. I don’t even have time for me. But my antics? You’ve gone too far Rocky.” A grin spread over Lola’s mouth as she rummaged in her pocket, pulling out a crumpled wad of bills to hand over. “See, I’m paying up. Do I still have to get the fuck out?”

Rocky narrowed her gaze at the other woman. She knew what Lola was playing at, trying to be cute, well, it wasn’t going to work. Rocky hated her job these days and most everything was getting under her skin – not like she’d ever been a pleasant person, but things were getting worse.

She reached out and took the money, counting it before shoving it into her bustier. She leaned over and looked at Lola with an award winning smile – how quickly she could go from violent to pleasant was almost alarming. “There was a carefully placed or in that sentence, sug.” She drawled. “Need a drink?”

“If I hear one more person comment on my feathers, I’m gonna blow a gasket.” Rocky answered, her eyes narrowed slightly at the young woman. “You’re not just payin’ for that, sweetheart. This here is a show. Man or woman, whatever you want, honey, we got it, but you don’t just walk into a strip club for the drinks.”

Rocky looked a little taken aback by the sight of the badge, her eyes slowly crawling back up to meet the man’s gaze, her’s narrowed. “What are you checking for?”

“Somewhat,” Joey answered honestly, “But don’t disregard me saying you’re special in all that. I want your attention more than anyone elses and you know I’m not fond of having to share yours.” If Joey was anything, it was blunt and direct with things, she never saw a point on beating around the bush unless she was in some playful mood. “I want you.” The sigh against her lips, the taste of Rocky’s mouth had Joey press further into the kiss, parting her lips and deepening the liplock. Her hand ran back into the brunette’s hair, tangling lightly in the silky tresses, not wanting to part.

“Is that so?” Rocky asked, her brows coming up just slightly as her smile pulled at her wide mouth. “Mm… well, I’ll try and remember that, but you may have to remind me every now and again.” She winked, pressing her mouth against Joey’s once more to silence anything she might say against sharing because whatever relationship Rocky had with Teddy did not compare to this.

Rocky kissed Joey more deeply, making soft sounds against her lips as she settled over top of her, pressing her body against the other woman’s, her hand lifting up so her fingers could rake through blonde hair, twisting gently.

A smile stretched her lips as she was pushed onto her back by the stunning brunette. Definitely no complaints with Joey’s view and position at the moment. “And I like being with you and I like you liking being with me.” The corner of her mouth pulled up into a smirk, it was all the self control she could muster not to crash their lips together as Rocky moved in so close. “I do accept you. The problem is that I want more from you.” With that Joey closed the minimal distance and pressed her plush lips softly to the brunette’s.

Rocky liked the way that Joey’s lips looked when she smiled. She was a beautiful woman, the kind that made Rocky’s heart race even all these years after knowing her. “Mm… well, I’m sure you just like anyone likin’ bein’ with ya, ain’t that the truth?” She asked, arching a brow. “What do you want from me?” She finally whispered, her eyes dropping to plump lips before that mouth met her own. She let out a little contented sigh and kissed back, melting against Joey like butter in a hot pan.
