For the *kinda* villain campaign I’m in, I initially made my DnD character to be a stoic, strong guy wanting to conquer the kingdom from the inside by getting closer to the royals and manipulating them.

Instead, he’s adopting every traumatized orphan in site and flirting with other middle aged dads.

For Zephyrine’s birthday, her party members, Aerineta and Cillaneo, decide to bake her a cake! Neither is particularly skilled at baking, so the cake comes out more lopsided than intended. But it’s delicious nonetheles.

Now that it’s summer again, I’ve been thinking about what creative endeavors I want to put my time into.

I really want to try writing my own campaign! I have two campaign ideas right now: one about the elven kingdom that my first DnD PC is from, and another about these mysterious islands. The first would be a political intrigue campaign, and the second a more exploration based campaign about pirates!!

I’m not really sure where to get started in actually making it real though. I have the idea started and a notebook going for the pirate campaign. I’m going to try to fill out that notebook more and just see where it takes me!

Anyone who has written their own campaign before, do you have any tips? How did you start the creation process?

This is Farryn! They’re the mind inside Aerineta’s spell book.

Aerineta is a wizard under the order of scribes. She made her spell book out of the fallen branches of a sacred tree within her kingdom.

As she began to practice magic more often, she noticed that her spell book would move around words that she wrote as if it was trying to speak to her. She began to write back, and they began to develop a friendship. She promised that she’d help her spell book manifest itself more.

She focuses harder on honing her magical talents so that she could bring her new friend to life! And eventually, she was able to help her spell book manifest its mind as Farryn!

Having come from the branches of the sacred tree, Farryn is deeply connected to the forests surrounding Aerineta’s kingdom. Farryn is also Aerineta’s closest friend, as they share a mind with one another.

My finished drawing of Nox! I think she looks really cute.

Right now we’re trying to stop an assassin from murdering a duke. This is the second time someone has tried to assassinate them. I hope we’re paid handsomely after this.
