You sat in the first of two cars that was driving the boys to their first schedule of the day. Jackson, Mark, and Bambam the three members with you. Setting your phone down for what seemed like the first time all morning, you sighed leaning your head back.
“What’s up buttercup?”
Jackson looked at you, his comment earning a giggle from you.
“I hate Jaebum.”
Jackson’s eyes went wide. “Hate is a strong word y/n.” “Fine I strongly dislike him.”
Jackson just shook his head, waiting for your explanation. “I’ve been messaging him about stuff for the shoot and he’s being so short. Like, I understand he’s not happy about me being your assistant now, but this is my job. If he doesn't like it he shouldn’t have opened his fat mouth in front of those fans.”
You sighed heavily, checking your phone as you’d gotten a reply from Youngjae about some styling choices. Jackson just laughed to himself as he scrolled through his phone, as if knowing something you didn't.
“What?”
He kept his mouth shut as you grew angrier with him. “Jackson Wang answer me!”
“Yah, people are trying to sleep in this car. Stop yelling.”
You shot Bambam an apologetic look before turning back to scold Jackson. “I just, I find it funny how oblivious you can be sometimes that's all.” Your scold faded as you became confused. “About?” Now he was the one sighing heavily. “You’re so sure that Jaebum hates you, even before this whole situation of you becoming our assistant. But, you barely know him well enough to say that he hates you.”
He wasn’t wrong, you did barely known Jaebum. But with the way he acts towards you, it’s hard not to think he hates you. “Are you forgetting about the time he threw away the coffee I got him because I put two sugars in versus his usual one? Or the time he kicked me out of the practice room when you and I fell asleep on the couch in the practice room? The way he acts towards me definitely gives off the vibe that he’s my best friend.”
The car stopped as you’d arrived at the venue for the boys first appearance of the day. As you all climbed out of your car Jackson stopped you. “Look, all I’m saying is, try and give him a chance. You don't always give him the best friend vibes either and you know it.”
You rolled your eyes as you threw your bag over your shoulder, though Jackson was right. You didn’t always act the nicest towards Jaebum, but it was only because you figured there was no reason to attempt to be nice. Looking at the car parked behind you, Jaebum stepped out making eye contact with you. To your surprise he actually smiled at you before following the boys inside.
After the photoshoot the boys were scheduled for a special appearance on Idol Room to promote their comeback that even the fans weren’t to know about. You had to help develop the plan of how to get the boys on site unnoticed by fans. It wasn’t easy but you'd figured it out, now you and the boys were just waiting on set until filming was to start.
To your surprise, Jaebum sat next to you while the other members were off doing their own things. He didn't say anything, just watching as you were busy on your phone.
“Let’s post something!”
Jaebum grabbed your phone, making you quickly protest as you tried grabbing it back from him. Though it was no use, his arms much longer than yours just toying with you as he held your phone in the air.
“Ugh, fine.”
Giving up, you sat back in your seat while he opened up your instagram. He went to the story function and took a boomerang of both of your shoes playfully kicking in the air then quickly flashing upwards showing a bit of the set.
“Filming will start soon!”
The call of the director saw Jaebum quickly jumping up from his seat, “gotta go!” He softly smiled, handing you your phone back before running off to join the boys.
The shoot went well, the boys seemed to enjoy themselves and you got some good behind the scenes photos and videos to later post on the official GOT7 SNS accounts. However, it wasn’t until you and the boys were set to leave that the problems became clear.
Somehow fans had found out about the secret appearance and had swarmed the building, making it almost impossible for the boys to leave. All of you had to wait almost an extra hour before leaving for some extra security to arrive and help control the crowds.
The ride back to the JYP Entertainment building had you worried, your boss blowing up your phone wanting to know how it got out to the fans. Jackson tried reassuring you that it would be fine, but you knew this would not end well for you.
“You posted the set on your social media? How stupid could you be! If you give these fans an inch, they take a mile! It’s easy for them to decipher things and realize where this is. This could have been avoided if you wouldn’t have posted that...I need you to make your Instagram private, block any account that appears to be a fan of the boys if you're going to post things like this. I understand you are friends and you post with them often, but now as their assistant you can’t post things that will give away information we don’t want fans to know.”
“Sir, my Instagram is already private.”
“Then delete the whole thing!”
“Sir!”
Jaebum’s voice caught everyone’s attention. None of the boys had said a word since their manager, your boss, began scolding you for the post. Jaebum was the last person you thought would say something, though you didn’t expect the boys to say anything at all. The post was on your Instagram, they didn’t have anything to do with it, this was your fault.
“She didn’t post it, I did. It was my idea in the first place, don’t yell at her when this is all my fault.”
“Fine, but just let me make something clear y/n. They won't always be able to bail you out, remember that.”
Everyone was silent as he left, slamming the door making you all jump.
“Yah Jaebum, what was that? You’ve never taken the heat for any managers before, what’s up?”
Bambam questioned the leader as the other boys also looked confused. “Y/n is our friend, I wasn’t going to let her get yelled at like that. Especially when it was my fault in the first place. Plus, I didn't see any of you stepping in to help. Just, warm up and get ready for practice.”
The members let it be, moving to stretch and get ready for their late night practice. Jaebum flashed you a soft smile before starting off towards the computer.
“Jaebum...they’re right. What was that? You didn’t have to do that, the post was on my account.”
“Yeah, because I posted it. Look, I'm sorry he yelled at you like that, I should’ve known better than to post that. Don’t worry about it, really.”
You knew he was going to get the last word so you let it be. Grabbing your wallet you decided to go grab the boys some food to try and lighten the mood, and because you knew they'd be hungry after practicing.
Walking to one of their favorite shops you couldn’t help but think back on what Jackson had told you earlier, that you needed to give Jaebum a chance to see that he didn't really hate you. Him taking the heat for the post certainly seemed like a chance, and maybe Jackson was right.

“Jackson, I don’t want Jaebum getting upset that I crash another practice.”
Jackson just rolled his eyes, grabbing your hand and pulling you down the hall with him. “He’ll be fine, and if not, I’ll deal with it. Okay?”
He didn’t bother waiting for your answer as he pulled you into the studio. The boys were all in their typical places. Yugyeom and Bambam warming up, Jinyoung watching Mark play some game on his phone, Youngjae sitting at the computer switching music for Yugyeom and Bambam, and Jaebum sitting in the back reading intently.
As you and Jackson made your way inside everyone's eyes landed on you. Majority of the room happy to see you, the other one percent not so happy. It wasn’t that Jaebum hated you, well, to be honest you didn't know how he felt exactly. One minute he seemed to like you, the next he wanted nothing to do with you. But overtime you've gotten used to it, now knowing if you were going to sit in on the boys’ practice you were to “sit in the back and keep quiet” to quote Jaebum. And that’s exactly what you did.
Barely noticing practice was over, until Jackson threw his sweaty shirt in your face, you stood up. Stretching before you joined the boys as they discussed where you all would head to get something to eat. Your attention drifted to Jaebum who was gathering his things and heading for the door.
“Is he not coming?”
The guys shot him a look before shrugging their shoulders, “guess not.” You wished Jaebum would hang out with the boys when you were around. That way maybe you could actually get to know him better and maybe he wouldn’t be so cold to you. But, you knew that this was how Jaebum was. Sighing as you began to pace the practice room while the boys still couldn't decide where to eat, you noticed Jaebum’s phone still plugged into the speaker.
“Hey guys, Jaebum left his phone. I’m gonna try to catch him, be right back!”
Running down the hall you hoped Jaebum hadn’t gotten far. Maybe doing something nice for him would earn you a thank you, or maybe even a chance to see Jaebum smile. As you pushed open the door you smacked into Jaebum who was heading back inside.
“Oh, y/n, are you okay?”
Jaebum sat up, reaching to help you as you rubbed your forehead. “Uh, yeah. Fine. You, you forgot your phone.” Jaebum looked from his phone to you before reaching for it. “Uh, thanks.”
Jaebum looked away as he turned his attention to picking up the things that had fallen out of his bag. “Here, let me help.” As you both picked up the contents of his bag, your hands momentarily touched as you both reached for the same thing. Looking at one another you both awkwardly pulled away, turning away as you both laughed.
“Thank you...I’m sorry about your head.”
You stood up, looking up at him shaking it off. “You’re welcome, and it’s okay. I probably should’ve made sure no one was on the other side of the door first.”
“Jaebum! Jaebum!”
You looked up to see fans quickly swarming around, making you shyly step back as he acknowledged the fans. Stepping back inside you noticed him look back to find you, just flashing you an apologetic smile as he went back to the fans.
Jaebum signed a few things before security finally came from inside the building to clear the fans away.
“Jaebum! Who was that girl? Is she a new trainee? Are you two working on a song together?”
All the fans waited impatiently for his response, probably wanting some breaking news they could report on their fan accounts. “Uh,” Jaebum scratched his head, not sure what to say and not wanting to get caught up in some scandal or rumor. “She is our new assistant, just bringing me my phone, I forgot it inside. Sorry, I have to go everyone.”
“Our assistant? You couldn’t have just said she was a trainee? Or she maybe that she is just our friend?”
Jaebum just sat silent while Jackson prodded him with questions. The news had spread online about you being GOT7′s new assistant and of course it got back to the guys and their company. To say they weren’t exactly thrilled was an understatement. The boys didn't exactly mind it, but the company wasn’t sure how they would explain that Jaebum lied to all the fans.
“Look, I didn’t want to say the wrong thing and have rumors or something flooding the internet. I’m sorry.”
“Yeah well now how are we supposed to explain our assistant who is hardly ever with us?”
“Look I said I was-”
Jaebum stopped himself as their manager entered the practice room, you following behind him. The boys shot you a confused look, though you were just as confused. They all stood up, bowing as they greeted their manager, waiting to hear what he had to say.
“Well, I’m sure you all have heard the news by now. We weren’t sure what to do exactly since we found the same time as everyone else. But, say hello to your new assistant.”
The boys all looked at each other, unsure to believe what he’d said or not. “You’re joking right?” Jackson finally the one to speak, not upset at the idea of you being their manager he just didn’t believe it. “No, since we didn't really have any time to prepare a statement that would fix Jaebum’s mistake, this is what we feel is the best decision for now. Y/n will work closely with you all under my supervision, she will act as an assistant manager to me. Good thing you all are already great friends. If you're not happy with the idea, take it up with Jaebum. That’s all.”
The manager left the practice room as the boys remained quiet, along with you just staring at your feet. Their reactions didn’t seem to encouraging at the moment, not like you were exactly excited about the idea either. You were friends with the members, but would you be able to work with them everyday?
“I, I understand if you guys aren’t happy about this. But, just know I didn’t have much of a choice.”
Jackson laughed as he walked over, wrapping you in a hug. “Why would we be unhappy? You’re our best friend y/n! And now we get to have you as our assistant, who knows us better than you?”
You smiled as you looked at the others seeing a similar reaction from all of them, all of the except Jaebum. He was still sitting on the practice room floor while the other guys came over to hug you and reassure you they were happy. You tried not to let it bother you, just shrugging it off as the boys needed to begin their practice. Moving to the back of the practice room, you began looking over some emails their manager had sent you. Mostly schedules for the next few days that you’d need to attend with the boys, but some rules and expectations from the company.
Though this wasn’t their decision, instead something Jaebum almost made them do, they still were treating it as a real job. You had duties and expectations, and you were getting paid for this now. Lucky for you it allowed you to finally quit your waitressing job at the cafe down the street. But you weren’t sure how to feel, yes it was great to have the chance to work with your best friends. Like Jackson said, who else knew them like you did. But it was a world you’d only known about from the stories the boys would tell you or the few times you’d sat in on their practices.
“Y/n.”
Looking up from your phone you saw Jaebum looking at you. “Look, I know this is an awkward situation now that you have to work for us, but, just know that it’s not all fun and games. I know you’re our friend, and we can have fun sometimes. But this is our job, and you need to take it seriously.”
You softly chuckled, “You’re the one who put me in this position, remember? Listen, I can separate work and friendship. Don’t worry about me. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to call and confirm your appearance for tomorrow.”
Not sure what this is, but I finally got some time and motivation to write something. Intending on this being a little series. Let me know what you all think!
“I’ll see you” you whispered, being careful as to not wake your housemates. It was nearly 2AM and you were seeing your late night booty call off. Yeah yeah, I know what you’re thinking. That’s probably not what one should be doing, it’s frowned upon, yada-yada… It’s just worked for you.
No feelings, no commitments, just sex. *shrug*
You quietly turned the knob, shutting the front door quietly with a click. You turned on your heels and started tip toeing back to your room. Just as you reached your door, your hall neighbor happened to emerge from his.
“Sending off another hollaback boy?” a shirtless Chris emerged from the depths of his room. “Oh shut it, Chris” you rolled your eyes. “You’re real quiet, you know. It leaves a lot of room for imagination” he winked. “Oh my god, shut the fuck up!” you gasped in a loud whisper. “I’m kiddddding~” he snickered before waltzing into the kitchen. You scoffed to yourself in disbelief. The audacity that boy has, you shook your head. “Good night~” he called out from the kitchen. “Night!” you responded. You shut the door quicky and turned off the light before he could bother you any further.

Checking the time you saw your phone read 1:45 am, and you knew it was time you headed out. You’d been with Chris all day.
“Where are you going?”
His Aussie accent always making you smirk. Standing up you pulled your hoodie, well technically Chris’s hoodie, over your head. “I need to go~ It’s late.” Chris frowned up at you, trying to beg you to stay. “You don’t neeeeeed to go, you just want to go. You know you can stay, with me.” He smirked wide at you and you just ruffled his hair.
“Yeah I could, but I really gotta go.”
Chris rolled onto his back and sighed as you looked for your keys. Secretly you wanted to stay, but you’d never stayed over before. Except for the one night you got drunk and Chris took care of you…but the two of you didn’t sleep in the same bed that night. Chris took the couch being the gentleman that he is.
“You gonna say goodbye to me or not?”
Chris leaned his head up to see you standing by the door, arms crossed and a questioning look on your face. “I mean I’m a bit hurt that you won’t stay but…”
Chris smirked at you as he sat up on the edge of his bed, grabbing your hand and pulling you into his arms. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you ran your fingers through his hair.
“You know we’re gonna see each other in like 8 hours when you beg me to come over and cook you food whenever you wake up.”
“I know, but you could just stay here so I don’t have to call you.” His muffled voice tickling against your stomach.
“Chris, you’re so stinking cute,” holding his face in your hands, you lightly squeezed his cheeks “but really, I gotta go. Good night.”
You’d barely turned the handle to his door when Chris grabbed your hand to stop you.
“Chris~ Come on, I really gotta-”
Before you could finish Chris turned you around, closing the door behind you and pressing you against it.
“Chris what the hell are you doing?”
He smirked at you while you shifted slightly beneath him. “You always say that, ‘Chris you’re so cute’. And to be honest it annoys me, because I know how you really feel.”
“Oh really?”
You tried to beat him at his own game, but Chris already won. Smirking at you as he saw right through you. At this point you knew you had no chance.
“Mhm. So stay, let me show you how I feel.”
He smirked as you stared at him, your breath catching in your throat. To say his words shocked you was an understatement. You’d never once thought that Chris saw you as more than a friend. Sure you two were flirty with one another, but you thought it was just harmless flirting.
Now you were thinking back to all those times Chris got jealous or upset you were going out with other guys, why he always wanted you to stay over, even his daily morning and good night texts now had more meaning.
Chris shook you from your thoughts as he led you back towards his bed. He sat down, pulling you with him. He sensed your nervousness, hell he was sure you could feel his hands shaking. Chris would be lying if he tried to play it off that he’d never thought of this happening once before. From the day he’d met you he knew it was only a matter of time before he fell for you. And fell for you he did.
But Chris always thought you'd seen him as just a friend. Though you two were always flirting, touchy with one another, he was sure you’d never thought of him that way. Although now he was thinking maybe you had. You hadn’t stopped him yet, following his lead, though you still looked shocked at what was going on.
Following his lead as he sat on the bed you slowly moved to straddle his waist. Chris’s hands moving to your hips while yours rested on his shoulders. Looking at him nervously you bit your lip.
“I, what are we doing?”
“What I wish we would’ve done awhile ago.”
Without another word Chris reached up, cupping your cheek as he quickly pulled your lips to his. Your fingers grabbing hold of his shirt as the kiss deepened. Both of you not wanting to waste any more time.
Chris moaned into the kiss as you rolled your hips against him. His fingers slightly moving under your shirt, tickling at your sides making you smile.
“I’ll only go as quickly as you want me to.”
You ran your thumb across his cheek as he looked up at you before giving him a soft kiss. “Trust me, I’ve wanted this just as much as you.”
Grabbing at the hem of your shirt you pulled it over your head, tossing it to the side as Chris’s hand rested at your sides once again. “You’re beautiful.” He smiled up at you before his lips found yours again.
He leaned back, laying down as you moved with him. Now hovering over him as the kisses got deeper, Chris’s hands moving lower to help you grind into him as your hands moved under his shirt. Chris slightly tensing under your touch, making you chuckle.
“I think you’re a little overdressed.”
Without a word Chris sat up, moving you to where he was laying as he now sat above you. Pulling his shirt off and tossing it across the room before smirking down at you.
“Better?”
You both laughed as you pulled his lips to yours once again, your hands cupping his cheeks, fingertips playing with the curls that hung down and framed his face.
He slightly ground his hips into you, making you moan into the kiss. Chris’s hands moved towards the front of your jeans, stopping at the button as he looked at you for approval.
Nodding your head with a bite of your bottom lip you watched as Chris continued. Now seeing the nervousness from him as he didn’t look at you as he undid the button on your pants and began to pull them down. Once finished he looked up at you with a slight smirk as he sat up to rid himself of his jeans.
“So, um, how do you...”
You covered your face with your hands as you laughed, trying not to make Chris feel any more nervous or embarrassed.
“Chris, just let it happen.”
You pulled his lips back to yours as he settled in-between your legs, his hips again grinding into you. But now that his jeans were out of the way you could feel him, and that only made you more eager. The kisses were now sloppy, neither of you minding as your hands roamed one another until Chris finally worked up the courage to take things further.
You felt his hand slide in-between the two of you, first to pull down your panties and then deal with his briefs. Your body slightly tensed as you felt him against you, Chris quickly looked down at you.
“You okay?”
“Mhm.”
He took a minute before guiding himself into you, stopping as soon as he felt you grab at his arm to let you adjust to him. He peppered your face with kisses until you gave him the okay, with which he began slow thrusts. One of your arms wrapping around his neck while your other hand tangled in his hair.
Once Chris got more comfortable he started thrusting faster, not speaking much other than telling you how beautiful you were, how perfect you were. All of the sweet nothings sounding even sweeter in his Aussie accent.
He made sure you knew how much he truly wanted this with you, that this wasn’t some hookup to him. That he really cared about you. If you needed him to slow down, or stop, he did. Always letting you determine what came next.
But you felt yourself nearing your end, tightening your grip on his hair as your back arched off the bed, Chris wrapping an arm around you and taking that as a sign to go faster. The two of you not able to form words, only moans or sharp breaths leaving your lips.
“Chris, I’m-”
“Me too.”
Just as you felt your climax coming over you Chris crashed his lips to yours as he too reached his, the two of you holding one another until you’d finally come down from your highs. Eventually just curling up together under the covers to drift off to sleep.
Chris kissed your cheek as he wrapped an arm around your waist.
“So, you think you’ll start staying over more often?”
