"Christmas is often given preference over other religious holidays which is unfair to non Christians"Ā
And
"A large amount of media, advertisements etc, only focus on the secular capitalist facets of the holiday, even when explicitly referencing biblical aspects, i.e. a hair product ad featuring three queens. This is unfair to Christians."
Are two statements which can coexist.

I could write out a huge post detailing everything wrong with s5 of you me her but I think my post from S4 basically covers it. They're still not communicating properly and I don't believe that they didn't break up multiple time during the three year skip.
It's not about merchandise. Fires spread and people get hurt. Poor neighborhood residents get especially fucked over. It creates a police state. I'm going to leave this here.

So I've been singing the ms rhona song in a sort of fast snappy tune and I figured I was remembering some old ryhme but couldn't remember what it was. I just saw your post saying you had wrote it like teddy bear teddy bear and I realised that's exactly what I've been using :D I have no idea how my brain instantly put the words with the tune but I love it.
Hey thatās so cool you instantly were able to put the rhythm to it! Iāve actually been experimenting lately, knowing how so many traditional nursery rhymes hold a similar rhythm, Iām trying out Miss Rhona lyrics to different song patterns on my TikTok for the hell of it. It fits with quite a few! Although yeah first imagining was like you say just like a chant/skipping rhyme like teddy bear teddy bear or under the apple tree that kind of kidās chant. š¤
Some of the wholesome Gehrmaria fluff Iāve been drawing lately for all you starving shippers out there >:3

As a fan of the Hexblade, I think more classes can benefit from the same treatment. Meet the Wildskeeper, a Wisdom Hexblade, who conjures forth armor and weapons of flora and various aspects of nature to aid them in battle.
š” š”š²š š¶šš²šŗ! Bramble Buckler Armor (shield), uncommon (requires attunement by a druid or ranger) ___
This twisting mass of tightly knotted thorns forms a functional buckler. Its thorny limbs move ever so slightly to defend against incoming attacks that might otherwise pierce it. When you don the shield, the vines grow harmlessly around the arm and hand thatās holding it, preventing it from being unwillingly dropped or disarmed.
As an action, you can speak the shieldās command word and touch it to the ground at a point at your feet. When you do, you doff the shield as the vines release from your arm and rapidly grow across the ground, creating a visible line of thorns and brambles 20 feet long and 15 feet wide. The thorns recreate the effects of theĀ "spike growth"Ā spell within that area, without requiring concentration, and last for the spellās duration. When it ends, the thorns coalesce back into the twisted shield. You can speak the shieldās command word again as an action while youāre within 5 feet of the thorny area to end the effect early, causing the vines to regrow onto your arm as you don the shield again. Once this property of the shield has been used, it canāt be used again until the next dawn. ___

āļø š”š²š š¶šš²šŗ! Seraphimās Stiletto Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement by a creature of good alignment) ___
This magic dagger is made from elven gold and a fine sliver of unicorn horn. The dagger has a pool of 20 hit points that replenishes daily at dawn. As an action, you can touch this dagger to a creature you can see within 5 feet of you and speak its command word. When you do, you can restore a number of hit points to that creature from the pool, up to the maximum amount remaining in the pool.
When you hit an undead creature with a melee attack using this dagger, you can expend a number of hit points from the pool, up to the maximum amount remaining, as part of the attack. When you do, you deal extra radiant damage to that creature equal to twice the number of hit points you expend in this way. ___

The confusion they have in this episode over arcane focuses vs. material components is why I really wish people wouldnāt @ Matt directly on twitter to ācorrectā him.
Matt was right about how he had been ruling all this, RAW, but the sheer confidence some people had in their incorrect proclamations online got to even him, and confused him.
If people are going to be rules lawyers, Iād really love if they actually learned the rules.
Iām fairly new to D&D, can I ask how the spell works?Ā
The text says āUsing the material component in this manner consumes it when the spell endsā So it is a component for summoning the demon.
If it was just blood, Iād agree that any focus could work. But because it has to be under 24 hours, doesnāt that mean it has a specific cost? Like with Cad and legend lore, the 200gp worth of ivory isnāt consumed but he still needs the ivory if he wants to cast the spell, and if one of the strips snapped in half and got lost, he couldnāt cast the spell with 150gp worth. Other materials that a focus can be substituted for say āpinch, some, a piece ofā. So if you canāt use blood from someone killed 24 hours and 5 minutes ago, or someone who died naturally, how can you use a focus?Ā
The blood is not necessary for summoning the demon, only for creating the protective circle should one lose control of the demon, which is an optional second part of the spell.
The text of the spell indicates this, but itās subtle:Ā
āYou utter foul words, summoning one demon from the chaos of the Abyss. You choose the demonās type, which must be one of challenge rating 5 or lower, such as a shadow demon or a barlgura. The demon appears in an unoccupied space you can see within range, and the demon disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.ā
^This first part of the description indicates that the summoning is done through the verbal (and somatic) components. The material component only comes up much later in the spell description, and indicates a special circumstance:
āAs part of casting the spell, you can form a circle on the ground with the blood used as a material component. The circle is large enough to encompass your space. While the spell lasts, the summoned demon canāt cross the circle or harm it, and it canāt target anyone within it. Using the material component in this manner consumes it when the spell ends.ā
Because itās not a spell with a monetary cost, we can otherwise followĀ ārules as intendedā for this spell and see the material component as optional flavor that can be ignored in the case of the caster using an Arcane Focus. Per the rules, it is only spells with a monetary cost (like what you detailed above for Legend Lore) which must use the material component, and cannot be replaced by a Focus.
All of that aside, this is a finicky spell, and rulings might be different at different tables depending on DM interpretation of the text. As Matt had already ruled a Focus could substitute material components in this case, Iām still of the opinion that back-seat DMs should have respected his ruling.Ā
Ok thanks for explaining.
The "in this manner" was, to me, saying you needed the blood to begin with. Are any other spells this trickily worded. Like, the authors are asking for disagreements at tables with this sort of half flavour half rule text.

i was worried my cat is dehydrated because i never see him drink water so iāve started leaving a cup of water thatās āmineā (aka he sees me drink out of it once before he does) in my room so he thinks he is being a rebellious naughty by drinking out of it but rlly he is just following my plan & being hydrated .
