Creating a character and now I donāt know what to do. Help?
So.... I have been messing around with AI art stuff for a while, fine tuning it to be my own thing, more or less if that's possible as AI art goes, but I have fine tuned it to such a degree that I have finally made and actual character that I love!Ā Ā I am not the most artistic person in the world, I never really got past the doodling phase. So myĀ āby handā creations are not so great, but this character that I have developed with the help of the art generator is actually something I am super proud of!!Ā When the first version of her came through I knew she was going to be perfect, so i fine tuned it more and more and more, till the changes I made where so miniscule it didn't even look different. But I realize now that, while i love this character, I canāt really do anything with her, sure i can use the fine tuned module I have for my diffusion to recreate her over and over doing all sorts of things, going places, different settings and what not, part of me is at a loss.Ā As someone who is not really an artist that has a character, what do I do?Ā I want to use her in something, make a story or something, but I could never do that myself.
Which is why I come back to tumblr, after a REALLY long time, seriously like 7 years at least.Ā But I remember there being talk about borrowing, sharing or even adopting characters.Ā I still do not know if its the right move yet, but the idea was strong enough to make me come back and make this post.Ā Should I give her up? should i keep her and use the generator to keep making art of the character the same way she was made?Ā is that really making art? I need some answers and I hope someone sees this and has some advice!Ā If not, oh well, I am sure ill figure something out!
Hell for all I know, maybe my character looks exactly like another character and i dont even know because its all ai stuff. and even being told that would be helpful.
