kenma stared at the screen, eyes drooped and heavy with sleep. he knew that if he continued any longer, he’d probably fall asleep whilst live-streaming. he wasn’t too fond of the idea of sleeping in his chair, especially with you curled up in his lap like a cat. he had experienced the discomfort of sleeping in such awkward positions and he didn’t want you waking up with a sore neck.
signing off his stream and closing off his tabs, he placed a chaste kiss to your forehead. he gathered you securely in his arms and stood up before exiting his streaming room/office and walking down the dark hall to your shared bedroom. as he placed you down on the queen sized bed, a content smile tugged at his lips. after a couple seconds of admiring your peaceful beauty, he crossed the room and changed into something more comfortable.
carefully, he laid himself down next to you. today was tiring for the both of you, he could tell by the way you fell asleep so fast after settling on his lap. he stared at the ceiling for a brief moment before turning to face your sleeping figure. he wrapped his arms around your waist and nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck.
“i love you,” he whispered quietly as to not wake you and only then did he settle in for the night, tired but accomplished.
rain crashed down outside. the sound of pattering droplets hitting concrete was the only noise that filled the dark room. two figures laid intertwined on the large bed that’s pushed into a corner. limbs and blankets tangled as one shuffled to find warmth from the other.
“your feet are cold,” suna hissed, untangling himself from the mess of limbs. you feigned an offended scoff, heavily juxtaposed by the playful smile adorning your face. you slowly moved your hands up the back of his shirt, causing him to jolt away from your touch.
“your hands are cold too,” he grumbled as he buried his face into your shoulder. you giggled at his reaction before removing your hands, much to his relief. he buried his head deeper into the crook of your neck, contently sighing against your skin while grabbing your hand to intertwine your fingers.
everything fell silent again, the sound of bucketing rain overtaking the room once more. you shifted a little bit, making sure that both of you were comfortable in each others arms. and then finally, you succumbed to the night, cuddled close to your boyfriend.
- he loves to bury his head in the crook of your neck, for you being able to feel him exhale, letting you know with that lingering tingle on your skin that he’s still there.

the soft glow of the early morning sun captured your face perfectly, god you were ethereal. weekends were always the slowest that both of your live’s got. hours would waste away as you cuddled together under a fluffy blanket with the tv flicked to a random channel. he placed a kiss to the soft skin of your neck, which was promptly followed by half a dozen more.
your hand kneaded through his hair, fingertips softly brushing against his scalp as your eyes scanned over the scene playing on the tv. suna’s eyes were fixated on his phone screen, he was struggling to comprehend the words he was reading, though. the feeling of you threading your fingers through his hair was so distracting and comfortable. subconsciously, he lightly pushed back against your hand before retreating his head back.

akaashi smiled, looking over at you standing in his door way. you were tired, he could tell by the bags under your eyes and the way your posture was slightly slumped. you approached him, before falling down on his bed and closing your eyes. discarding his book beside him, he looked over with worry and wordlessly placed a hand on your shoulder.
you lifted your bed, allowing him a closer look at the flush of red across your cheeks and the slight tears forming in your eyes. “‘kaashi?” “yes darling? what’s the matter?” concern laced his voice, a caring look forming in his eyes. you crawled over to him and into his arms, burying you head in his chest and letting out tiny sobs. he leaned back and pulled you closer towards him, his eyes widening at your next question, “do you love me?”
he cupped your face in his hands and placed a chaste kiss to your forehead. a simple action that he’d complete as a way to silently reassure you, “darling, of course i love you.” with that reaffirmation, you curled closer into his chest, allowing him to rest his chin on your head. he rhythmically started rubbing circles on the small of your back, inviting a sense of drowsiness to wash over you as you felt your eyes grow heavy. a content smile stretched on his lips as he stared down at you sleeping peacefully on his chest. he picked up his book and quietly returned to his reading.

you obliged and joined him with a slight chuckle at his childishness. he slipped his arms around your torso as you layed your head against his chest. you slung a leg over his and he pulled you closer to him. once you have adjusted into a comfortable position, he placed his chin atop of your head and let out a content sigh.
you fell asleep with him holding you in his arms. when you both woke up, he held back a chuckle at your dishevelled hair and rosy cheeks. when you looked up at him with a small smile he felt his heart beat a little faster and his cheeks grow hotter. he would always find you adorable.

he left you with iwaizumi and grabbed one of the volleyballs from a nearby cart. he put the ball into his right hand and pulled his arm back. he threw the volleyball as hard as he could at the guy’s face. let’s just say that oikawa’s coach wasn’t too happy when he received news that oikawa had broken somebody’s nose.

you felt a hand on your shoulder, holding a firm grip as if afraid to let go. you turned around to come into contact with a chest. you looked up and beamed brightly upon seeing the stern face of your boyfriend.
you enrapture him into a tight hug, burying your face into his chest. he stares at the guy who is already inching away from his spot. he freezes when ushijima’s gaze lands on him before scuttling off back to his team.

his eyes wandered to your lips and the most prominent thought in his head at that moment was ‘kiss her.’ he stopped walking which piqued your interest, causing you to stop too. you cocked an eyebrow and looked at him, he was zoned out staring at your face.
out of the blue he leaned down and quickly planted a light kiss onto your lips. you stood unmoving and shocked causing him to internally cringe at your lack of a reaction. your lips slowly curved up into a smile as your face started to heat up. a relieved sigh escaped his lips before he began walking again.
“hey, you can’t do that and then just leave,” you called out. he stopped and looked back at you, letting you get a good look at his red face.
“if we don’t keep walking i know that i wouldn’t be able to control myself from kissing you a million more times. i just can’t help it, you’re so cute y/n-chan,” he confessed before turning away and continuing his walk to the coach.

“do it, no balls,” kenma said before exiting the gym, psp in hand. kuroo exited right after him, smiling once his eyes laid on you.
“hey chibi-chan,” he teased, smirk growing on his face. you playfully pout before smiling at his antics. you waved at him slightly, noticing the far away look in his eyes. he seemed really focused on something.
he swiftly leaned down and captured your lips in a kiss. it was a little rushed but extremely seeet nonetheless.
“could you not make out in front of the whole team?” yaku asked as he walked past. your face flushed red as you stuttered out an apology. kuroo chuckled and ruffled your hair before beckoning you to join him on his walk home.

“i missed you a lot,” he mumbled quietly. you smiled at him, knowing that doing anything else wasn’t an option in that moment.

he wasn’t really enjoying it until he felt you snuggle closer into his chest. his face heated up slightly and he felt a rush of serotonin. turns out, cuddling makes him happy.
