How are we doing, folks? Not great? I hear that. Some people are starting to hunt morels, and the best I could find in my forest was Cladonia pixie cups. Which are a lichenized fungus and pretty cool. There are also some wood ears and a polypore, but they look like they’d been around forever so I’m not counting them as new growth. The bird is a pileated woodpecker! I was actually really happy to see him
